I've started working with Corel Draw GS X4 quite recently. Now I've been asked by friends of mine to design the birth-card of their child who will be born in about two months. For this reason I would like to make a template for such a card. The card must be folded, 130 mm x 130 mm. I need to use all four sides of the cards and I would like all sides (so the whole card) in one document.
Is there any way to make a template? Say I have a made to order pair of shorts and want to be able to edit on different types of fabric, is there any way to edit the area on the shorts where I want to put the fabric, so I can do it with various types of fabric without having to spend a great deal of time?
On the same pair of shorts for instance, where the area would be the exact same of editing space I would need from the fabric pattern to edit on, is there any way to make a template of sorts of that space on the shorts to use?
I would like to make a template / mask containing only text, which I could use to overlay a pictute, so that the text shows on the picture when saved & displayed as a *.jpg
how to make a template for arched text? I have a basic layout for the text, see screen shot. I want to be able to enter in whatever name I want and have the first and last letters be larger with the overall text on an arch.
I'm trying to make a template for a six-faceted vase form. Basically one side of a sweeped hexagon along a curved path which I would like to Flatten in Sheet Metal.
First, I have a profile:
Then, I add a hexagonal base sketch:
Next I do a sweep using the profile as a guide rail and the y-axis as the axis:
So far so good. Finally, I select one of the facets and Thicken to 1mm:
After converting to Sheet Metal and setting the Sheet Metal default to 1mm, Sheet Metal will not perform a Flatten because it cannot find any bends.
Is there any way to go about this in Inventor? Perhaps using some other method than a Sweep? Any method that produces a flat pattern
I would like to make a aluminum framed panel template that I can enter in the height and width dimensions and then save the panel assembly into it's own unique part#. Right now, when I design enclosure, I will have multiple sizes of framed panel and I typically have to manually change the length and width dimensions for the individual extrusion members, then change the panel size manually. I re-name the new extrusions and panels to avoid file name conflicts. Is there a way to simplify the process?
Like I said before, I will have multiple "section"(SEC) assemblies in each main assembly file.
I attached a zip file with my aluminum framed panel assembly.
Is it possible to make an attribute or a field in a template with page numbering for layouts? Is it possible to make an attribute or a field in a template with the name of the layout?
I used Lightroom SDK to create a plugin generating custom set of Metadata (for LR5) to manage images as produced items (printed and framed photos). In order to be able to create usefull lists of items, I would need to be able to print this metadata fields on contact Sheets. This is the only functionality that prevents me from using Lightroom as a database for produced artworks, beeing able to manage exhibitions, stock locations, sales etc...Guess this means I have to make those new fields accessible in the Text Template Editor that allows user to compose an aggregated text from various type of metadata for printing or slideshows. But seems that only the original sets of metadata appears in Text Template Editor, not the one created by my plugin. Is there a way to add this functionnality to my plugin ?
I have a problem where I am unsure if my upgraded template is incompatible with Revit 2013 or is there something else at play.
If I create a precast stair in default template I get "end with riser" turned on automaticaly. If I copy that stair to my template and create new stair, "end with riser" is turned off and I manually have to adjust stair afterwards.
Problem is "end with riser" is now an instance parameter of stairs and I can't find where to change the default value.
Why is the stair type that works in default template stuffed when copied to my template?

I am doing a personal proyect, a DVD of my babyshower son, and i wanna put a link on the menu to watch the pics. Is there a way to have a template in photoshop cs3? So instead of designing multipages in one psd with each page being a layer folder, you could have one psd as a template for global elements and a psd for each web page - when you updated the template psd, then the global elements in all the other psd's would be updated. I know there is a way to link psd's when placed in Illustrator but I would like to do the same within Photoshop. If this is not possible, what techiques do you use to layout multiple webpages that use global elements and save slice sets for each page?
i have a psd file of a button template. In the first instance i would like to be able to make new buttons from this. I have tried editing the text, and although i can do this...the text does not fit on the button and is not of the same style as the other buttons generated from this psd..told you i was brand new.
Secondly, i would actually like to make my own template for 2 sets of buttons ( new websites coming soon) and without a clue and no up to date tutorials i have really hit a brick wall....i don't even know how to change the colour of an existing button let alone start from scratch...

Do you give them a template such as:
Company Name:
Colors:
Etc:
