May 19, 2008I am about to start a dvd sleeve cover but I do not know where to start! Is there a tutorial on this or just a template with construction lines and that sort of thing to help me?

Dec 15, 2011have a Xara template for a VHS video cover? My autistic son won't play DVDs, so I have to maintain his VHS collection, and some of the covers need redoing.

Revit :: Why Stair Type That Works In Default Template Stuffed When Copied To Own Template
Jul 2, 2012I have a problem where I am unsure if my upgraded template is incompatible with Revit 2013 or is there something else at play.
If I create a precast stair in default template I get "end with riser" turned on automaticaly. If I copy that stair to my template and create new stair, "end with riser" is turned off and I manually have to adjust stair afterwards.
Problem is "end with riser" is now an instance parameter of stairs and I can't find where to change the default value.
Why is the stair type that works in default template stuffed when copied to my template?

Nov 18, 2007Obviously a logo doesn't look exactly the same each time it's used. So where does the line get drawn? At what point is the logo so distorted that it's no longer protected by a trademark?
And another thing I was wondering about is if you trademark an image and make different / more elaborate versions of the original, will it also be covered by the TM? For example if you trademark the logo on the right, will the other 2 versions also be protected?

a) how the artisted blended in all those layers to make that OUTER SPACE look.

Oct 25, 2005I'm bringing out a bodyboarding dvd, but need a little help with the design of the cover. Its titled "Scratching the surface". I was trying to find a tutorial that would demonstate how to get a decent scratch effect or even some claw marks but couldn't find anything.

Mar 14, 2008I have been making a cover for a dvd. I created a new project with the dimensions of the dvd cover which is: height: 18.2 cm, width: 27.2 cm. I finished the cover, and am now having difficulty printing.
I first tried flattening the image, creating a bmp, and printing with XP's photo printing wizard, but it came out that the height was ok - a little off, but the width was nearly 2cms too short. I tried just printing from photoshop, but it tried scaling it down. And, by the way, I am new to Photoshop CS3!

I'd suggest something matching with the text.. something dark and devilish? Also also, do keep in mind that it should be in a proportion to fit the facebook cover perfectly.

How do I check to see if jpg images have been saved at a resolution of 300 dpi?
What if my original jpg image resolution is less than 300 dpi and I require 300 dpi; Is it possible to resave them to a smaller image size and in doing so increase the dpi?
What if a jpg image says it is ?.jpg @ 25%RGB? and I am supposed to save the files in CMYK; What is this ?Mode? setting and can it be changed through resaving the jpg somehow, or is it changed to CMYK when you open it in Photoshop and choose CMYK in the'Rasterize Generic PDF Format' window?
