Photoshop :: Halloween Poster Template
Oct 3, 2012
Here's a Halloween Poster I quickly designed yesterday using a public domain stock photo. It's a generic Poster Template. It's designed at 11x17 300dpi with 0.125 bleeds.
You can download and customize the poster here:

I am looking to be a stack of $100 dollar bills for Halloween. Stack made out of cardboard (24in x 55in) covered in color printed pages, pasted together.
Unfortunately, Kinko's and the like won't help me print out a giant bill image. Is there anyone out there that could help me expand an image of a bill to 3 pages wide by 5 pages long?

I took my boy camping with the cub scouts and we did pumpkin carving and trick-or-treating on Saturday night. The pumpkin looked great, but I didn't have the tripod with me to take a good photo. So, I decided to take the photo on Sunday night at home, but by then the pumpkin wasn't looking so good anymore. I used a couple of toothpicks to hold it together and took the photo, then fixed it in Photoshop.

I'm working on a poster for a production of Julius Caesar and I'm trying to create a propaganda poster very similar to the one below. Any ideas on how to turn a regular photograph into a style similar to the one of Lenin? I'll try and post the picture I'm working with as well as the example poster. I've tried posterizing and blurring and colorizing but I can't quite get the yellowy tint as well as the kind of dotted shadows seen in the picture.

I have a problem where I am unsure if my upgraded template is incompatible with Revit 2013 or is there something else at play.
If I create a precast stair in default template I get "end with riser" turned on automaticaly. If I copy that stair to my template and create new stair, "end with riser" is turned off and I manually have to adjust stair afterwards.
Problem is "end with riser" is now an instance parameter of stairs and I can't find where to change the default value.
Why is the stair type that works in default template stuffed when copied to my template?

I am having trouble adding text to a poster where I have dropped in an image and added a border. The only way I can add text is to flatten the image then add text. Also when I try to add a image with "place" to make it a smart object I have the same problem. If I flatten the image to add text then I can't save the file as a template.

Imagine a poster where something (a hand e.g.) has punched through from behind.
I'm looking for that effect of torn paper.

Attached is a picture of a Casablanca movie poster, my wife's favorite movie. I'm hoping to insert our faces, yet not quite sure how to really make it seamless. I played with filters, colorizing, hue, adding noise, etc.

Look at this picture, it's a still from the TV series Dexter, and season 1 and 2 of Dexter are somewhat sacred to me as far as cinema goes. The image is taken from season 2, where a love interest of Dexter creates a painting that totally embodies his character. It would be amazing to have it printed and mounted in my entertainment room!
The image is quite raw, and I have such little experience with any kind of photo editing that I wouldn't have any clue what would need to be done to improve the quality or resolution for a decent sized poster, but Any kind of artistic flair is totally welcome as long as the essence of the image/character remain.
Without further ado, the screencap:

I came across this BLACK EYED PEAS poster a while back and thought the kind of half tone fade in the background was really cool and well done but for the life of me I can't figure it out? I'm pretty sure its not a gradient mask cuz the dots actually get smaller towards the bottom....I'm know its not that hard....right?

I've looked around and haven't found a "how to" on how to make a simple photo into a large poster 3' x 4' or larger. I know there must be an easy way to do this.
There is a nice site called "blockposters" but they have a 1 meg limit on file size. So a large poster would be very bitmaped. I figure I can take 8 meg pictures of my kids or an activity in school and really blow it up.
I also want to be able to pick the print size of each panel 3 x 4 up to 8 x 11.
