I am using images on the web. Problem is that when I include text with the graphic - i.e. towns on a map - and save to web or as a jpeg, the text is blurred. I have3 used anti-aliasing but still have the problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm a writer and what you see below was my first published article back in 1999, therefore I would like to have a good copy. As you can tell, the newspaper in the image is beat up and faded, so I thought I would chop up the JPG, lay it all out again in PS and fly in my text.
When I select text from WORD and paste it into a PS Text box, there are enormous gaps in between sentences. How I can fly my text into the re-done article so it looks exactly like the newspaper copy, except the text is crispy and clear-y.

Any idea how to do this since I heard it was possible - say I have an scanned image with text in it - say the words 'Blue' in a certain font, I would like to change those words to the words 'Red' in the same exact font and font size. Any idea how to do this and which function do I invoke in Photoshop?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI know that Photoshop is not the premier pdf creation software. I do have InDesign as well, but I'm much more familiar and comfortable with Photoshop (I have the CC versions of both) so I prefer to use it as my design and layout tool.
However, when I save as a pdf the resultant pdf file is blurry for images and text, not horribly so, but not sharp and clear as I would like. My pdf files are for the web and emailing so I need to keep the file size in check, but even when I up the PS resolution to 300psi it still is not as clear as I would like. Still blurry.
What do you Photoshop experts out there do to produce the sharpest pdf possible? Is it even possible using Photoshop only or do you have to use InDesign or Acrobat Pro to get the clarity and shapness?
I am running Photoshop CS5 on a Mac 10.8.4.I have basic photoshop experience. My designer has left me in the lurch at a daedline and I need to get some material to the printer ASAP.The design is finished.The printer wants all the text outlined and the images embedded then a "high quality PDF" submitted to print.how to outline text and imbed images. View 8 Replies View RelatedI have scanned in a document and need to change it to digital art. Since I haven't been able to find a suitable font to match it exactly, I am thinking I'll have to do it by hand.
A sample of the text is below. Should I use the pen tool for this? Or some other tool? I would be glad if you could point me in the right direction. As you can see, the document's blurry so I can't just use a marquee.

View 6 Replies View Relatedi did all my images, layout and text with photoshop... so i started slicing the images into jpegs and text blocks... now my problem is when i select no image in the slice tool and it ask to enter the text it messes up the whole page.. and it puts a white background on it... how do i get rid of the white background? (the text is over color) and also how do i prevent it from pushing all the other stuff over and messing that up?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am a molecular biologist trying to use either photoshop or illustrator to label data (I have both programs, 1 may be better than the other for what I need, but I am not sure). The data I want to label are essentially pictures, of varying size, with a resolution of 50pixel/cm (around 127ppi).
The best analogy of the transformations of my data would be a picture of some random object taken next to a ruler. I need to label the ruler, then remove the actual ruler and just leave the labels. I have several of these pictures, and I label them like this individually.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIm creating a label for my CD, and I created the images with PS7 & then imported them into coreldraw in EPS format to do the text. (I heard that vector programs create cleaner, crisper text than bitmap programs,and my fonts are between 8 - 10 size). I added my text & some vector clipart then printed it directly from CorelDraw & the text & clipart was super crisp but the imported image was gritty, so I exported the entire file back into PS7 in Corel EPS format. I printed it in PS7 & the reverse happened: The image was nice & clean & the text was gritty. Am I importing/exporting in some wrong fashion, or there a way to have both my images & text come out crisp & clean?

I import from light room and use a batch action to create the border. Thats simple enough, is it possilbe to create an action or script so that can i drop in a text layer into each of the images without a manually copying the layer text and pasting it into each file ... one at a time .
I've got about 1000 ten-to-twelve word "sayings" that basically need to go on index cards. I have all these sayings neatly organized in Excel.
all 1000 need to end up as a 4"x6" image.
Do I have to manually create a text layer, and cut and paste all 1000 sayings into it, one by one, saving the file each time?
I have set of imagery in tiff format. For each of the images i have information such as coordinates where it was taken. This is in a text file.
The images are quite large. Like 800mb each.
What i am doing at this point is :
I open each image, copy the details from the text file and paste it inside the image and also I add my company logo. Then i resize it and reduce the size to a suitable one like 40 mb for printing.
What i was wondering if there is a possibility that this can be automated? Like a script or a program that will read from the text file the details, place them inside the image, put the logo in the appropriate place and resize.
I was designing a business card as usual and copying some vector images from Illustrator, but when I tried to enter some text it came up blank...the color shows a question mark (?) even after I attempt to change the color.
I've seen the question mark before but all I needed to do in the past was select that little button and change it.
I have a 3images with a common background, but there's different text and each picture has a different part of the background intact. I'm looking for a way to restore the back ground by over layer the images together. I originally tried with one image and selecting the text with the magic wand and filling it with content aware fill. But the results were so so.
So I have a few questions;
1) the images have slightly different orientation. I can't get them to perfectly align, its weird, I really can't do it. I can get it close, but not perfect, is there a simple way ?
2) How do I keep the common element between the images (the background) and remove what's different (the text) ?
I tried overlaying them after having deleted the text, but I still get the damn contour effect.
3) Furthermore, the colors are slightly different between the images, is there a simple way to get them to match ?
I have been using Corel for a few years now, and have achieved amazing results with corel and 4 color litho printing... HOWEVER now I am dabbling on the internet, and run a site
[URL]....... andwant to use Coreldrawx5 for doing my banners etc, as i am comfortable with the program... BUT if you take a look at my site you will see that the test banners on the top of the page and the Side Box Banners on the sides look " Out of Focus" for a lack of a better word.
In After effects when i tried to render a file in HD resolution all the text and images are getting pixelate.
