View 1 RepliesI'm using PSE10 on a Win7 (64bit) OS. When I delete a picture (from catalogue and harddrive) the PSE-Organizer tends to jump down several pictures (Haven't been able to determine a fixed number), so I have to go up again and browse through the same pics a couple of times.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm creating a logo that employs a stippled texture (a half-tone) in various sections of objects comprising the logo. I've placed the stipple where I want it, created a clipping path to capture the area. Now I have all these other points that I don't need that I want to delete.
Is there anyway short of releasing the clipping path, manually delete unwanted sections of the stipple and then re-apply the clipping path again? It would be like 'Applying Mask' in photoshop.
I'm going on vacation and want to work on adding keywords, deleting unwanted pictures, and other organizing. s there a way to do this without copying all my pictures (not enough room on the laptop for that.). Lightroom 4.4

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to defringe the pixels like I've seen in photoshop? (only know this because I was googling how to do this on paint.net, and came across this)
So is there a plugin or advanced way to do this that doesn't include me clicking magic wand 5 million times?
I had a batch of 42 photos and laboriously entered titles for each one. At about the 40th, I discovered the program had copied into all the picture titles the most recent title entered. So it had overwritten my work. I started over and entered titles again. This was not a synch action on my part and there were no efforts to have a repetitious action that might apply to the pictures included in my collection.
I will understand this is probably some kind of "feature" but if so where do I turn it off? This is Lightroom 4 and involves both raw and jpg files.
I'd like to know how to add my digital images a picture (not text) watermark. All the tutorials I've seen are for text watermarks.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI re-opened a drawing this morning and found some text to be different height from the rest. When I attempted to adjust all of the heights to be the same using the properties method, they all became bigger. Instead of all of them going to 6", the 5" text went to 6" and the 6" text went to 7-3/16". So, I checked the formatting size and the properties size and they did not match. See PDF.

I have downloaded LR5 Upgrade onto my PC (Windows 7). The LR5 new features work. So far the program is working as expected, except that when an image is deleted using LR5, the image disappears from LR5 and appears in the recycle bin as it should, but it does not disappear from my Canon DPP program. LR3 is still on the computer and when an image was deleted using LR3, it always disappeared from both LR3 and Canon DPP. Why won't a deletion with LR5 take the image out of Canon DPP ?

View 6 Replies View Relatedwhen I hit CMD and backspace, in order to delete images from disk, I only have the option to 'remove' photos. Up until tonight I always had to choose whether to remove them or delete from disk. Not sure what has changed or what I have done wrong, it's always worked before. I'm using an imac and LR4.

I'm running a legit version of Photoshop CS2 on Windows XP. There's a number of things that haven't worked since I installed. Let's start with this one! When editing text, pressing any of the arrow keys to move the cursor creates an unwanted charachter like & '%# etc. Also, when in Move tool mode, the arrow keys don't respond at all.

The problem is that, there are some dots (Autocad recognizes it as "raster image") all over the drawing. And I need to delete them manually each one of them.
Is there way I could do this automatically? Is there a way to select all the "raster images" at once, and then delete them?
If I do an area capture (rectangular), CAPTURE X5 almost always wants to include text such as: "Click and drag to select a new capture area" and/or the pixel location. Yes--this instructional text is include in the capture, as shown below.
I've looked at all the possible settings and tried disabling various options (there aren't that many). Nothing works.
This wasn't a problem with Windows XP. Now I'm using Windows 7, 64-bit.
Here's an example; the text at the bottom should NOT be part of the screen capture:
(Border added to show captured area.)
Sometimes I can manipulate the cursor to avoid this, but often I cannot avoid it and get the capture I want.
I was finding it useful to keep CAPTURE loaded all the time so I create a capture whenever I need to, but this makes it almost useless. (ATI Radeon video driver is up to date.)
When I went to add text to a video sequence in the Title feature, the words "Double-click Here to Add Text" appeared.
Which I did. The text I wanted appeared in the sequence and showed up OK after saving and replay--but so did that "Double-Click Here to Add Text!"
I couldn't figure out how to delete THAT unwanted message--any hints on how to do that?

We have a problem in our office. In some of our drawings we keep getting a lot of unwanted linetypes and text styles. Nobody is sure where they originated.
We have tried this method in getting rid of them but it doesnt work. [URL]
See attached file.
Same applies with the text styles.
I'm wanting to create transparent text over a picture with only the outline of the text showing. So basically, I need to only see the stroke of the text and have be picture show thru from behind.

I am having a problem with a blueprint for a house. the plan was sent to me dwg. We use pdf factory to print the plans. This leaves a black spot where ever the dwg has mask on the dimensions. Which happens to be throughout the plan and it will only let me take it off one text box at a time. There is way too many dimensions in the plan for this to be practical. how to remove this mask from all? I am using autocad lt and pdf factory to print.
View 4 Replies View RelatedUsing the horizontal text tool I can make a text box, but no text-blinker shows up in the box and when I type no text will appear. Although, in the Layers pannel on the right side it does name the layer whatever I have typed so why won't it show on the picture? Even if you make all other layers invisible the text layer still does not show up on a blank background.

I often have DXF files that contain very many short (10 digits or less) instances of text, and only a few long instances of text (11 digits or more)....
I would like to use AutoLISP to delete all of the short text in my DXF file, but leave the longer text.
I have 4 pictures of the Disney World Park logos (castle, MGM, Epcot, and animal Kingdom). What I want to try and do is merge all the photos into one photo that I can then print on T shirts for our family trip (18 people). I want each picture to be visible, but sort of merge into the other, like a collage I guess.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have to replace text in a banner image with different text. Maybe if I upload the banner, it would be more useful...
I have to replace "Customer Satisfaction" with some other text. The text is embedded in the image; so, it's not that easy, at least for me, to replace it without making it look amateurish. Of course, I duplicated the background and worked on that layer.
First method I tried was using the clone stamp, zooming in to 1600% to painstakingly erase it. But then when I zoom out, the background where the text was placed over does not match its surroundings and looks like someone shaded it. If you zoom in real close, before making any changes to it, you'll see that the "green" (what the RGB is) touching the text is different than the "green" in areas not touching text.
Next, I thought of using the magic wand to select the text for me and that looked liked it worked. But the problem is once I select it, how to delete it or blend it in with the background. That is, if I select the "C" in "Customer Satisfaction" with the magic wand, for instance, pressing delete does nothing. Then I found I can fill the area, after I select it with the magic wand; however, what the RGB combination is of the background. Is there a way I can find out what the RGB value is of the background, then apply that to my fill color and effectively delete the "Customer Satisfaction" text?
Once I'm able to get rid of the text, I can use the text editor plugin tool I downloaded to replace the text.
That's my logic, anyway. How I can replace text in an image, preferably as neatly as possible.
