Am editting a clients file and have to remove the text style CT_Calibri_B.
Have tried using quick select and specifying the text style but this does not select anything.
How can I remove this text style?
Can I remove it if it is embedded in the file?
This has happened in a couple of drawings now. The STYLE dialog keeps saying "The current style has been modified. Do you want to save your changes?" even when I have changed nothing at all. Anyway, I select the style I want, hit Apply and Set Current, and put in some text. Now I list that text, and sure enough, instead of being on L80 it says L-BASE|Standard or some such thing. If I use DTEXT, Style and set it there, my text will be the correct style - but if I go back to the Style dialog box, L-BASE|Standard will show as current again. Acad C3D 2011.

I know I can just type in the station/offset labels manually but I'd like to be able to use the automatic-updating functionality of AutoCAD 3D.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Civil 3D 2012 and seem to have a reoccurring problem with the text styles changing. At the start of the day, I will open my drawing and find that my text style has changed and I am not sure what is causing this. I check my text styles and none of my settings has change nor has the text style. Nothing seems to fix the problem other than running a repair of the system.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have slope % angles labeled on a plan, but they are too large. They are 1/8" tall, and I need them to be 3/32" tall. I have checked the style (ROMANS) to be sure the text height is set to 0", and it is. I've also ensured that these labels are on this label style.
Check the screenshot. I added 2 screenshots with a huge difference in font size just to be sure my point gets across. And, I have hit APPLY and closed the window just to be sure. You will see up top, I have it set to 3/32". Actually the text isn't showing right, it is still stuck on 1/8". But, regardless, you can see in the lower screenshot where I have changed it to 3", but the text has not changed.
As a side note, the text on the slope labels should match the height of the contour labels you can see in the screenshots.
I would like to modified the existing pointlist.xsl.
I would like to use a different font and adjust the text heights smaller, like a 8 pt. for the points, 12 pt for the heading and 6 pt for report data.
I do not see any text size in the file, so how do change these.
Also are there any other point list report available?
I re-opened a drawing this morning and found some text to be different height from the rest. When I attempted to adjust all of the heights to be the same using the properties method, they all became bigger. Instead of all of them going to 6", the 5" text went to 6" and the 6" text went to 7-3/16". So, I checked the formatting size and the properties size and they did not match. See PDF.
deleting the larger inconsistent text?
I made a complicated selection, which I saved to a channel. Then I inverted the selection and tried to delete the inverse (hopefully to transparency, but deleting to a background color would be better than not deleting at all). However, nothing happens when I press the delete key, or when I select "Clear" from the edit menu. Trying to use the Cut command doesn't work, either.
After deselecting, I can get the selection back through the channels dock, by right-clicking and then choosing "Channel to selection" or "Add to selection." It appear to replace the selection from the channel properly. I just can't delete anything.
I have removed the background from a photo using selection deleting to transparency via alpha channel. My dog was left. I then exported to png. When I try to upload the dog to use in a label, (Open Office), the back ground turns to white.
What am I doing wrong?
When I use the quick selection tool to remove something, I am always left with a shadow counture of the area that I want to get rid of. I guess I have to make another kind of setting or something, but I cannot find any that works. Photoshop CS6 W7.

As I was creating a surface consisted of contour lines, suddenly some bunch of random points in the surface were also created. I want my surface to be solely generated by contour lines only. So...
I know I can get rid of those points by deleting them through edit but I want to get rid of them all at once. How can I do that? Or... Is there even a way to do that?
In using 2013 I noticed when I delete a feature line which is added to a surface as a breakline it does not delete it from the surface. Even after a rebuild the surface does not update. I am having to go into the toolspace and manually delete the breaklines from the surface list.

I cannot find any way to delete an entry that I don't want. This entry is in the "Survey" tab in the toolspace. I tried to start a new drawing in hopes it would give me a clean toolspace, but it keeps showing the same information.

Everything was working fine until...I deleted a hatched area that represented a Butt Joint quantitiy. Now when I go into Compute Quatity Takeoff & select the Compute button, this quantity that was deleted is still there. And, since it is now deleted, I can't find a way to remove it from the Butt Joint quantity. I've tried using "Removes pay item from specific objects." I've tried deleting all my quantities and starting from scratch.

I am having a problem with a blueprint for a house. the plan was sent to me dwg. We use pdf factory to print the plans. This leaves a black spot where ever the dwg has mask on the dimensions. Which happens to be throughout the plan and it will only let me take it off one text box at a time. There is way too many dimensions in the plan for this to be practical. how to remove this mask from all? I am using autocad lt and pdf factory to print.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been using Photoshop CS2 for several years to enhance my photographs, but just now have encountered something simple I cannot find out how to do. I have on the background layer a picture of a room interior with the exposure set mostly for the open window, but the rest of the room is very dark. On the only other layer, the upper one, I have the same shot exposed correctly for the room, which overexposes the window area. The upper and lower layers are perfectly superimposed, and the upper layer is at 100% opacity.
I have selected the window on the upper layer and want to change the selected area's opacity to blend properly with the window on the bottom layer without changing opacity of the rest of the layer. No matter what I do, changing opacity seems to affect only the entire layer, and I haven't figured out how to isolate the selected area for the opacity change.
I can cut the selection to reveal the darker window on the bottom layer, but this doesn't give me the flexibility I need to balance the two exposures. An opacity change would be ideal.
I have a Drawing that I have been developing as a control/template for surveying purposes. In compiling it I have acquired some empty blocks from another drawing I picked some data from. They are not being used or referenced by anything in the drawing and yet PURGE does not get rid of them. Is there another method I can use?

I'm trying to modify a surface I created using drill hole data of a cavern. When I select the delete lines command for surface editing a message pops up telling me that I must have the triangles displayed in the surface style dialog. But I do have the triangles displayed, and it still gives me the same message.

Is there a way to turn this off without going into the format text and deleting it every time? When I was using Inventor 2008 it always made me click to turn the scale "on" or visible. Now it does it automatically.
