CorelDRAW X4 :: Deleting Text Out Of JPG?
Jan 2, 2012We have a complex image (jpg) which has a number of merging colours in the background, and contrasting text in the foreground.
I want to delete the text out of the image but do not know how?

AutoCAD 2010 :: Differing Text Heights / Deleting Larger Inconsistent Text?
Jul 24, 2012I re-opened a drawing this morning and found some text to be different height from the rest. When I attempted to adjust all of the heights to be the same using the properties method, they all became bigger. Instead of all of them going to 6", the 5" text went to 6" and the 6" text went to 7-3/16". So, I checked the formatting size and the properties size and they did not match. See PDF.

Jul 9, 2011Casual CorelDraw user. Currently using X5, 64 bit and Win 7. Yesterday, while opening an older cdr file ( I believe from version 10 ) I’ve got a message ( warning ) that I do not have fonts installed used in this file and they have to be substituted. Mentioned fonts are default windows Arial fonts. Quickly I realized that X5 not only warned about missing fonts. In fact it deleted them from my windows font folder. 4 Arial types were gone, affecting not only my drawings but many other programs on my computer.I reinstalled missing fonts. Removed X5 from HD, downloaded the latest X5 version, I believe containing Sp3. Now every time I open CorelDraw I loose after mentioned Arial fonts. I've been using X5 for the past few months and used to open older files several times without such problems ever occurring.

Apr 18, 2013In an effort to free up space on our company server I have been tasked with archiving and/or deleting files, of which a large amount are cdr files. So my question...yesterday out of a design subfolder I deleted around 1700 backup files comprising 19GB of file space. It would be except for one thing, deleting 19GB out of that one folder cleared up 160GB of space on our server.I have double checked my file counts, sizes, folder counts, etc before and after I deleted the files and everything adds up except for the 19GB deleted cleared up 160GB of space. These files were mostly last saved with x6, though some of them were probably first created with x4.

Apr 11, 2012I am having a problem with a blueprint for a house. the plan was sent to me dwg. We use pdf factory to print the plans. This leaves a black spot where ever the dwg has mask on the dimensions. Which happens to be throughout the plan and it will only let me take it off one text box at a time. There is way too many dimensions in the plan for this to be practical. how to remove this mask from all? I am using autocad lt and pdf factory to print.

Is there a way to turn this off without going into the format text and deleting it every time? When I was using Inventor 2008 it always made me click to turn the scale "on" or visible. Now it does it automatically.

If you accidentally stretch text and don't realize it till later is it given a value that can be compared to other text so you can conform it to the rest of the text? Is this a tool or what? The scenario is you accidentally stretch text minutely, save the file, copy and paste this text to another file with same format to realize later it has been manipulated and doesn't match.

Jul 14, 2013I had several CorelDraw documents that crashes on me, and the auto-backup did not work.
In all these documents, if I open the text paragraph window and typed on it, the entire program will crash if I exit that window after finishing.
I discovered that if I typed directly on the text paragraph, it will not crash. That means do not open the text paragraph window to do editing. But this makes editing very slow since it seems to be more memory intensive.
Strange the auto-backup directory/folder always do not have my backup files too.

I have drawn the shape, inserted the text as paragraph text, but the text always wants to sit straight. I am so frustrated as I can find a workaround in either Corel or Adobe CS products. I have tried using artistic text in Corel, but have to do it line by line - and this brings other problems, such as I cant justify each line with each other, and sometimes a character jumps up relative to the other characters and the entire paragraph does not taper in...so this is not a solution, apart from the fact it will take me FOREVER to insert line by line....I would like to treat the text as a multiple line paragraph, and follow the shape.

Mar 15, 2012I am using Corel for driving a fiber laser through a dedicated Net connection not available to the rest of the network and it and my computer are right next to the switch.
My problem is that when I send a job from the PC to the laser it works fine. If I make a small change on the graphics, I save it and send a new job to the laser. Quite often, some part of my grapics is left off the plot even though I didn't touch that graphic or mod it. So I send the job over again and now somewhere else is missing some of the graphic word...usually a word or a letter or number. I usually turn off the computer or get out of Corel and come back in and it is fixed. That doesn't sound like a network dropped or corrupted graphic. I have tried turning off the laser with Corel still up and it doesn't fix the problem when I bring the laser on line again.
