I use a lot the "Automate -> PDF Presentation", in Photoshop CS6 (english language) feature, but in the last months, something really weird is happening.When I export a file, some parts of the text disappears, like is being corrupted by something.
My pc specs: win7 x64 - portuguese language
I'm working in the left viewport: while rotating or moving parts in the assembly, all other items of the assembly disappear, in all of the viewports. As soon as I stop the rotation or move, the other graphics reappear. Why are the graphics of the other parts disappearing?

Once the parts disappear, the only way we're able to get them back is by copy and paste the explosion into the presentation file and regenerate the view.what happened to the .idw file and how it should look.
We've tried replacing the video card and repairing the Inventor installation, but still experience the same issue on some drawings.Running Inventor 2008 on Windows XP.
I am running Autocad Mechanical 2013 as part of the Product Ulitmate Design suite.
I am using a Sheet Set to export a number of layouts to a single PDF. Everything is as expected, except that all my Parts Lists (EXCEPT ONE!!) are not showing up in the PDF. The only difference I can see between the one that works and the many that don't is that on all the ones that don't work I have a "Filter by Ballooned" filter applied to the parts list. What could be up with this? Could that filter somehow be the cause?
Another completely random and unexpected behavior: there is something that is causing all the AM_* layers that are automatically generated in paper space to suddenly become frozen. They all becomes frozen at once. Why or what it is I am doing to cause it to happen.

I wasn't sure how large my image would be, so I created a larger than necessary PSD file. I would like to export as little as possible (it's a rectangular image). How can I select just the image for export and ignore the background?

View 2 Replies View Related I've got this problem where my text is dissapearing when I export a .PDF from PS. Some of the text dissapears and some is white with a thin outline (although it should just be solid black). I've read other things online from people with this problem but none of the solutions work for me. If I rasterise the text it works - but i don't want it rasterised.
- I'm not using Faux Bold or other effects
- I've tried with different fonts including Arial and Helvetica
- Tried changing the colour slightly
- Tried changing opacity slightly
- opened a new document with only text and it still does it.
I think it is only happening when i use a text box (dragging the text tool to make box rather than a single click)I've got Creative Cloud and PS is up to date. Working on a rMBP OSX10.8.4
Photoshop CC, on my MacBook Pro Retina (Iris Graphics). The text disappears, erases basically, whenever I change the font or size. Every single action with text I have to undo. Change font, disappears/erases, undo etc. Happens regardless what font or size.
Also the performance is very poor, doubting it's optimised for Mavericks.
I need to export an assembly into revit on by-part basis, with the reason being the need of preserving properties of every part of the assembly.
However, when i try to do that programmatically, no properties are preserved in resulting families. Here is the code i use:

Is it possible to export a weldment and include the weld volumes? I'm attempting to export to an .stl file and the welds are missing in the resultant file. (Or am I doing something wrong?) The weldment was converted from a standard assembly file, but the BoM structure was set to Normal, not Inseparable.

I can open inventor and open idw file in VB.net. But could not reach to Parts List.. I checked Inventor2010ObjectModel and sawDrawingdocument>DrawingBOM but could not get success.
I've created two similar but different base files.
I've derived each into parts that have a few different features.
In both cases, step exports of the base solid are fine but exports of the unique parts are empty.
Step exports of their assemblies are complete except for these parts.
Sat exports work fine for both parts and assemblies.
It happens in 2012 SP2 and 2013.
I have had Corel X6 on my computer for a few months and have been making signs just fine with no major problems. However, last week it started getting rid of my text completely if I click on the pick tool or off of the text itself. The text does not hi-lite like it usually does with a box around it, but there is a small black box on the bottom left corner. we cannot make any signs without this program. I even uninstalled and re installed the entire program and still have the same problem.

I did just reinstall this version today ( a couple of times ) and that is when the trouble started.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using AutoCAD 2013. I need to explode text so that it will appear as line work, otherwise my surveying instrument won't display it.
When i use the express tools explode text command, the text disappears, this message is shown in the command bar
"The line objects have been placed on layer 0."
However, there is nothing on layer zero. Might this have something to do with missing shape files, or can AutoCAD only explode certain simple forms of text?
At times when dimensioning or creating views in 2D, items will disappear. These items are dimensions or even complete views. They return as soon as hit the scroll wheel on the mouse or my 3D connexion mouse.

I have tried exporting to a different AutoCad year (2010) but the same issue is still occurring.
I have CS6 and I can not see the names, eyeball icons, lock icons and arrow icons in the Layers Palette. I see that the layers are there and when I hover my mouse over the layers the names and icon show up but they disappear once I click off the layers palette.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running into some trouble with user parameters that have been inserted into a dimension's "text box". I sometimes hide the dimension itself and insert these parameters so that iLogic can manipulate the upper & lower tolerance limits for a dimension.
The problem seems to arrise anytime one of the dimension's arrows becomes detached from the drawing (and perhaps for other reasons, too, although this is the only clear cause so far). I can reattach the arrow and the dimension seems healthy again, but if I go into the text editor, I notice that the link to any parameters that I've inserted has been lost. They appear as they were last set, but will not update if the parameters themselves change.
Is there a better workaround for this, or can we expect a solution in IV2013? I've invested close to a year's worth of work expecting this method to perform properly, and it will be a letdown if there's no solution.
In AutoCAD 2013, when I try to select a dimension object for moving, erasing, &c, the text disappears. How to get it to stay displayed? Seems to just be when using AutoCAD 2013.

Then if you left click, right click, it will list the final distance down in the command window. The machine in question no longer displays the distance on the page as you go. This is a very useful feature for us, and although we can distance things, using the text readout in the command window takes much longer.

I created 61, 9 layer composites that are text only, but I can not figure out how to export it with the alphas for use in keying in Final cut. I exported as Targas, psd's and eps's but nothing give me the alpha and I end up with a flat image that I can only to an add key with in Final Cut...this loses all of my shadows and glows, etc......

1. I've exported my project as a pdf. Some of the text is not selectable at all. That is, the cursor won't even highlight the text in the pdf file.
2. Some of the text that is selectable when copied and pasted to another document gives me all sorts of crazy looking characters (none of which I recognize.
I have five PSDs I want to make into one 5-page PDF.
I want the text to stay vector/selectable in the PDF (and not rasterized during the conversion process). Is there any way to do this?
I export simple text to .ai file format for my vinyl cutter to cut names. However, after importing into vinyl cutting program, the letters are split. The 'o', 'a' and 'e' all have a vertical line through them. However, when I export from X3, there is no issue.
I have checked export settings, converted to curves etc, but nothing works. why this occurs on X5 and not X3.
I permit to come for a new question that concerns the exporting solution in Xara (I have Designer Pro version) in PDF/X mode.
I have some work to do (in Xara as it is my favorite tool), and have to export it 100% correctly in PDF mode for external collaborators, for allowing them to open it and use it in Illustrator software (that's for webdesign : I made the template and external people must be able to use them, in illustrator - or photoshop, it depends).But I get strange results with the texts, with the advanced PDF/X export solution of Xara (the rest is ok).
I can't get a text that can be simply editable when opening illustrator soft. Instead of a rich text editable, in an entire paragraph, I get :
- a "word by word" or "sentence by sentence" editable text. <- that's the best case, but happened only with very simple files, with only few words in it
- a "letter by letter" editable text <- that's unfortunately the more frequent case. If there is a little "too much text" (?!), is works like this.
I send 2 files of examples I made. One simple (with texts, shapes,...), another a very few more complex : just longer texts (only 2). And then the "non editable text" appears : you can select only the letters, not words or better : paragraphs.I put the 2 xara files, and the 2 pdf/X exported files. (I precise the option "convert text into files" is, of course, not effective).

[URL]....... andwant to use Coreldrawx5 for doing my banners etc, as i am comfortable with the program... BUT if you take a look at my site you will see that the test banners on the top of the page and the Side Box Banners on the sides look " Out of Focus" for a lack of a better word.
