When I design a website template in photoshop. is there any way to save it in a manner that would allow me to edit the text using HTML? When ever I "Save for web," I end up with text being converted to image files.

I've begun to run into an issue quite frequently that I just cannot find a work around for. The first image shows what it looks like in Photoshop:
Then this is what it looks like in Adobe Acrobat after it's saved from PS:
You can see a whole swath of text is just missing. I've tried everything I can think of to get it to save correctly. This is a high resolution image, exported at press quality.
I am working with a scanned image. Added lots of text over the image. How can I save and print just the text? I want to print it on transparent paper as an overlay. The only way I can see how it lines up with the image is to scan the image in 1st. someone else told me to go back to the layers palatte and delete the layer I don't want. How do ya get back to all the previous layers? Once the image is saved to the desk top the history palatte disappears too.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been using Photoshop to create multi page pdf documents, using psd files with layers so that the text is selectable. A few months ago, this worked fine. Having not used this function since, today I tried to design a new brochure only to find a block of text was not appearing in the pdf document. Or it was appearing but messed up - mostly missing but some is there, some is invisible. Single line text is fine. Through trial and error I discovered text box text is fine, as long as the text doesn't go over two lines.
I tried an old document, which I have already made a brochure with so I know it used to work, and it now has the same error. I also tried simply saving the file as a single pdf doc and it has the same problem, so its not only the multi page function. I've tried different fonts and different size fonts.
I have updated Photoshop, but that hasn't solved the problem.
When i save a document in Photoshop cs6 to use on indesign the text seems to distort somehow? (parts of it are missing also).

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is a question about Adobe Illustrator, not Photoshop, so I hope this fits under this topic category. I've been given some floor plans done in Autocad and they need to be converted to PDFs. Autocad does not save as PDFs so what I have to do is open the files in Illustrator and then save as PDF. The problem is that, for some reason, Illustrator won't save the text that's included in the plans. I can open it and see the text just fine (labels, dimensions, unit numbers, etc.), but when I save it and open up the PDF file, all the text is gone. I'm getting around this by transfering it to Photoshop since Photoshop does preserve text when saving as PDF. But even this is more difficult than it sounds. In order to transfer it to Photoshop, I have to first open it in Illustrator, copy and paste it into Photoshop, and then manually retype all the text because even when copying and pasting from Illustrator, the text dissappears. Does anybody know how to preserve text when saving as PDF in Illustrator, or at least how to preserve text when copying from Illustrator and pasting into Photoshop?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have 300 photos that are being saved as thumbnails for my online store. I am looking to see if I am able (in automated batch saving) to add "-TN" after the document name, before the extension. It will let me add the dash but not "TN."
An example of how my document name needs to be is "MyFile-TN.gif".
How do I go back and remove a text layer after I have save an image as jpeg?

2. The Scene Explorer seems to stay open when I re-open a file.
But the Layers window doesn't. Is there a way to force it to open with a file also?

I am the leader of a program at church and there is a logo for it. I am endeavoring to take that logo saved on my HD reduce its size ( I know How ) then add text to bottom and save it as a signature in pictures to use with the group.
I am having an impossible time finding an answer to this question. How do you keep text editable when saving an EPS in Illustrator CS5 down to Illustrator 10? Every time I open it, the text is either converted to points or it is broken up into single letters which is hardly useful for the end-user to take and edit.

I've typed in the text in the color that I want. I've clicked on the magic wand, clicked on the white space and I get the checkered background. But it also covers my text and then when I try to use the saved image, it's all completely transparent.
How do I do this so that the text shows up, but the background remains transparent?

When I select a text part to give it another colour (e.g. blue) and also it alise and/or bold the text, then after saving these settings are repeated several to many times in front of the indicated text part.
I have started editing photos using the Photo Fix Options in Instant Fix. I have then switched to Photo Editor to fine tune my edited picture. When I use save or save as, to save the edited picture both the edited and original appear in the files. If I start in in Photo Editor and save there is an option to uncheck that reads "Save in version set with Original" However I am more comfortable with beginning in Instant Fix and then switching to photo editor. For some reason when I go to save after switching from Instant fix to Photo editor the uncheck feature is no longer available. step by step instructions to save revised photo afterusing Instant Fix first then Photo Editor.

When I open the AutoCAD drawing I created each letter in the label is a seperate text entity. Like Main St is not one entity, it is 6 different text entities.

I had my automatic save set up for every 10 minutes but files were not being saved regularly. I deleted files from the Temp folder thinking it was full and now there are no .sv$ saving at all. How can I make drawings save automatically every 10 minutes?
I am saving a PDF from Illustrator CS4 that contains only 100% black text. My print provider is telling me that the text in the PDF has been converted to 4C, rich black. I have tried all different PDF creation settings (high quality, press quality, PDFX3, default) from Illustrator but nothing works. How can I create a PDF that maintains 100% black and prevents it from converting to process black?
View 12 Replies View Relatedtrying to copy txt from an outside text editor and pasting them into an open, editable text layer in my workspace. The problem is that I can COPY the text fine, but when I click over to PS to paste it into the open editable text layer it either pastes the previous text from my clipboard OR it won't paste anything at all. I can then go into any other text field on a browser, spreadsheet document, a different text editor, notepad, etc and successfully paste the proper batch of text I wanted to paste into PS. Sometimes I have some rather large files open 50+megs when I notice this happen. I have to save my work and close out entirely of PS and then open it again before I can begin editing my original document again and successfully paste the text into the open editable text layer. This may last for a few COPY/PASTE sessions of additional text in additional text layers, but then begins displaying the symptoms I described above.
I am on Win7 on an AlienWare M17XR3 laptop with 16G RAM and AMD Radeon HD 6900M Series display adapter.I assume it's either in my PS performance settings which I have PS using 10413MB RAM and has over 350G scratch disk space. If it's not that I guess my laptop system performance settings which I've never tinkered with since I purchased it.

Simple question:
am trying to edit a text layer but i am unable to open the text box to change text.
It creates a new text layer everytime i click on the layer.
Text is allowed only on the outside of a rectangle shape. The text cursor disappears when I try to enter it into the rectangle and when I place it on the edge of the rectangle, it rurns into a slanted "A" and allows texting on the border of the rectangle. Corel Paint Shop Photo Pro X3 (build date Sept 7, 2010). This software came with my new HP Pavilion dv7.

This Works Fine But How can i WRAP TEXT....of Address field.
When I insert text with either the TEXT command or MTEXT command, the text is displayed mirrored. This doesn't seem to have anything to do with the MIRRTEXT variable because that is used when I'm actually mirroring the text. In my case, the text is mirrored as soon as I insert it. How can I get it back to normal? Is there a variable I'm missing?
I'm using AutoCAD LT 2012 .
i switched gimp 2.6 to 2.8 and new text tool behaves strangely, as i remember in gimp 2.6 when i try to change text content with selecting old text and pasting new text i could use same text size and same font with my old text without doing anything but now in the gim 2.8 whenever i try to change content of a text layer i need to choose again font and text size from toolbox options, but why do i have to do this, i have a text placed on my image with a certain font and certain font size and i just want to alter my text conten not the size of text or font , it changes automatically to back text size and font whatever i used last time in another work.
summary: i want to change my text content without setting my font and font size properties, i want to use my text layers old properties
