i have created a business card for a client. i made it 3.5 in wide and 2 in high. i also added 1/8 in on all sides for bleed and cutting. i want to make a page containing 8 cards per page. i went to automate/picture package in p/s cs and found i can make a page, but not with the images sized to make business cards.

View 5 Replies View RelatedLong-term user of CorelDraw, and have just found Xara P&GD, which is quite a revelation. I've re-designed my business card and how to print to A4, pre-perforated card. CorelDraw can make use of Avery templates for printing the single business card design, multiple times, on the same sheet of card, but I can't find a way to do this with Xara without physically copying the design to make a composite A4 layout. Can Xara do this the "template" way?

Create your business card and then set it as a LIVE COPY and repeat it on page. Now if you need to make a change later to the business card all the other copies of the business card change automatically.

In page setup i have setup my page to print 4 business cards on an A4 page. I have customize the labels myself. Then in print preview i have chosen to print the business cards in the center of the page. But the cards are on the bottom left corner and what ever i do it will not change.
maybe i have to change the margins in page setup-customize label? But don't know the inches.
How can i put my 4 business cards in the center of the page to print?
My printer (digital printer) tells me that they dont recommend having any borders on their cards as during the printing /cutting process the edges may be trimmed 1mm in a random manner and thus offsetting a nice even border.
Is there anyway to combat this or do I need to go to a specific type of printer?
Or do I just setup the file and hope the random edge cut/print/positioning goes my way?
Id love to get a small white 1mm/2mm edge on the left and top of my card if possible, bottom doesnt matter as its allready white and right edge there doesnt need to be one.

The company that's going to do the printing says they need to be 300 dpi or better. I know nothing about this. I set the print size to 3.5 inches wides by 2 inches tall but every time I upload it to the print company it say low resolution poor quality.

To print business cards, I selected Label AVERY 5371 - 2X 3.5 BusCr. Print preview looks good. There is no any visible alignment problems.
When printing is completed (Linen paper AVERY 5371), there is about 2 millimeters alignment problem for each card. I created my own template and the print is with the same results. The printer I use is Canon MP830 ink jet.
I have CorelDraw Graphics Suite X6. I have created what I want in the end to be a double sided business card. However, when printing I am unable to get what will be the back design to align with the front design. Does Coreldraw have a option of sort to make this happen automatically? Or is there a technique to make this happen?

I can't find a suitable Pantone grey that is this dark. Pantone 425U is too light. Also, which Pantone Black is the darkest?

View 3 Replies View RelatedOnce I used Photoshop 7, my Windows XP can review the thumbnail of the .PSD files. I can see the images from the folder and don't need to open them from Photoshop. But after I installed Photoshop CS3, the PSD files can't review in XP folder anymore. The thumbnails are the logo of PSD and I can't see the images without opening the CS3. How can I make PSD file review as the thumbnails in the XP folder?

When I hit print and go to print preview, all my images are turned on end which makes review difficult. Is there a way to view them as they should be, landscape. In Lightroom, everything is set to landscape and in the printer module, it is all set to landscape. Just in print preview, they are turned on end.
View 6 Replies View Relatedtomorrow I'll have a portfolio review directly on my laptop where's installed LR3. I'll have no internet connection. I saved in a collection set of 4 series of photos that I'll present one by one as separate works, and all of them all togeher are been exported in a new separate catalog.
The photos are named with a custom model which is: data_workname_sequencenumber.DNG
The problem is that I'd like to present the pics in every series in a particular sort order that is NOT related to the star, flag, rate, label, date, filename or whatever other criteria that LR is usually able to sort by. And, far more important, I need to keep the pics in the entire catalog separated by series, I don't want to mess with the series (e.g. pictures of Paris must stay together, and so on, ... at the moment they follow in a filename or date order which does NOT correspond to the wanted order).
I will play the sequence manually full screen (Ctrl+F command) as the portfolio will be as one to one discussion.
In X5 (not in X4) when double-clicking on a thumbnail in the Organizer pallet, the BLACK control panel at the bottom appears, but the image is either Not There, or the entire screen is a Scrambled Mess! Sometimes (like in the morning after boot-up) it's ok, but other times (like in the evening) there is dysfunction and corruption. I'm wondering if X5 has a memory leak or problem? as I got a Blue Screen last night.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI created a layout for a gravestone in Corel. I sent it to someone who also uses corel draw x4 and corel is changing the font in my drawing. I used fonts Ariel and Palatino Linotype. I don't know if the Palatino is a defaulted font in corel or I downloaded online. I have been doing this kind of work for awhile so I can't remember. I ended up telling her the font and font size for the text and she created it. Then she emailed it back to me for review as I was looking at the email of her printscreens the lines of text had more space between each text line and the dates had more space between them.
She even went so far as to do printscreens of them to review and they don't seem correct. I don't know if this info is useful but I printed from corel and they are priting correctly (line spacing correct, text good). why is corel wanting to change the font. Almost forgot the font corel was changing to was HP PSG which is a font I have in my list of fonts in corel. And it isn't just tjhis file. I created a one line text with a different font and sure enough she told me corel wanted to change the font again. I don't know if it was changing it to HP PSG. I wonder what would it change it to if I remove HP PSG. How do you remove a font from the list??
tried to install AutoCAD 2012 with SCCM. So I configured an automatic install for it. Tested the installation by clicking the link... everything is fine. Then uninstall and tried to roll it out with sccm: The installation works but there is no shortcut for Autodesk Design Review 2013. Not on the desktop, not on the startmenu Why?
Don't want to do that manually on 40+ computers..
Is it a bug ? I can add data, and I see it onto my section views but I cant view it again in the dialog. In example, I add a profile at 11 m. using markers and i see it. If I come back to the dialog to add or delete data related I see nothing....

It makes it hard to copy the text and impossible to change the color or make corrections. This just started when they went to Photoshop CS6.
