I have a photo of a group of people however one person is not looking. I am trying to crop one face out of a near identical shot and place into the other photo where everyone is looking.
My question is how do I take one object like a face of one person and replace it with that of another? I got to submit a school project and this is part of it....
I am trying to find a faster way to save my images. I shoot in raw, save raw images as jpegs after editing them in Camera Raw. I am using Photoshop CS6 on a Mac version 10.7.5. When I save, I either have to save as a copy of the exisiting image, or replace the image I'm working on. Other forums I've read said to make an action to save and create a function key to make this process faster, but my function keys aren't working, and playing the action I've created still makes a copy of the image.
I sliced up an image of a tv that I created in photoshop and tried replacing the central (tv screen) image with a video clip when i viewed it it had gaps in it?
I got an email with a link to a video a long time ago that showed how to remove a person from a group photo and replace this person with an image of them from another photo. It does not seem to be in the videos on my Phtotshop elements 9 list within the program. Any link to this video so I can save it and rewatch it?
I was just wonder how if at all I would be able to go about taking the white subtext on this image (Japanese lettering) and making it transparent or removing it.
if I cut a part of an image out, and want to replace with another image, is there any way to know the correct size (in pixels) to make it match the deleted image portion?
I tried Properties but it gave me the dimensions for the entire image.
And I have no copy of the deleted portion to check its size because I enlarged it when I placed it originally in the entire image and didn't save it separately.
I have clipped a photo to remove the background and now want to replace one of the images in a website gallery. I know I can delete the original image and replace it but is there a way I can drag my new picture over the old one and replace it like I can when I drag an image from the Bitmap Gallery?
I presume it isn't possible as the original image is a square or rectangle that is filled with the bitmap and the clipped image is an irregular shape.
I've just used image trace to get a three colour vector of a photograph. I want to replace the three colours in the image with colours from my brand's style guide. At the moment, they're thre shades of a kind of muddy brown.
How I do this? The three colours in the image aren't showing in the swatch menu and I don't really know what I'm doing.
If I have a bitmap image that has been cropped to an irregular shape (say a star or pear etc) is there any way in CorelDraw to replace the image without having to crop and position the bitmap all over again. I thought It would be as simple as clicking edit bitmap & pasting the new image once in corel photo paint but that does not seem to be the case.
edit: also is it possible to swap the image with a higher resolution version.
I know I saw a video on how to do it from scratch, but I dont remember now. Why does it update all the images in a row? and how do I just update 1? place it on a new layer?
I'm using Adobe Photoshop 9.0 cs2 and I need help with a large color replacement project. I'm an amature video game designer making a level for the classic P.C. game Doom 2 and I'm creating a new weapon and monster for the level I'm creating. For the monster I plan to alter the colors of the frames of the original monster and change the dimensions of key features.
use an indexed color mode that were extracted into individual .png files.
Today I made the big mistake of changing the frames over to RGB mode so I can use the color replacement tools available in that mode. I should have done one frame first then convert it back to indexed color mode because the frames look terrible when converted back from RGB mode. What it is doing is using all the colors of the RGB color spectrum to replace various colors. Unfortunately what this means is that its using colors that are not in the color palette I loaded in the original pic and when I convert it back it looks terrible. There are enough colors in the doom color palette to produce the look I'm after but the automated conversion process from RGB to indexed colors does not pic the best matches in most cases. By doing this I am taking an image consisting of about 150 different shades of color down to about 75 different shades of color. I cant find any color replacement tools for indexed colored images and its going to take me forever to do all frames pixel by pixel so I need one of two things to be able to accomplish what I need. Either a better way of converting these images back, or some tool I can actually use in indexed color mode. If there is a way to select a pixel and change all other pixels of that exact color to a new color then I can just do it pixel by pixel that way. I need something here or I'm going to lose hours of work. If there is a way to load my color table into RGB mode to limit what colors it uses that might work too.
I would just leave the pics in RGB mode if the game im editing for could use that format but unfortunatly anything I convert to RGB will have to be converted back to 256 colors for it to work in the game.
I am trying to create a image in Photoshop. I'm trying to make a face extruding through a chain link fence. I tried using displacement map but either I'm using it wrong or it is the wrong tool for the job.
how to edit a solid with opening a hole only one face and deleting an another face..
I added a drawing file which has a coloured face solid,I put a circle on blue face and making a hole on this face, and I want to delete red face without exploding solid, after all this I want to mesh this solid with maximum 25 units.
I'm a beginner in Maya and have to model an object for college. I've modelled an iPhone 4 in Maya 2012 and I've added colour to it but i want to add an image to the screen face. I've added the image using lambert but the image is blown up and i don't know how to resize it. I've fiddled with the settings in '2d Texture Placement Attributes' but the only thing i've been able to do was rotate the image so it's not upside down, it's still blown up. Is there another editor window to resize it?
I've also tried using the UV Texture Editor but everything is a mess on top of eachother and everytime i move things around maya crashes . Is there any other way to add the image to the face?
All I need to do is merge a circular face to a flat face, so both faces become one continuous face. Is this possible at all?
I have a attached a screenshot to show what I mean. Face 1 needs to be merged with face 2. This is so if I constrain anything to that face it will constrain to the entire face and not either the circular face OR the flat face.
when I anchor the layer face over the background face the floating selection disappears which means I cannot work on the layer face and therfore am unable to erase the layer face into the background face, this is on gimp 2.6
Basically I have 2 images, 1 is a texture background and the other is a face. I wanna create the effect that the face is blended into the photo just like in this one:
Is there a way to use PRESSPULL on a face that's behind or underneath another face. When I use PRESSPULL it always selects the face on top and sometimes I want a face that is behind or underneath that face.
I want to replace the blue with red [ blood, yeah ]. How might I be able to do his, I though I might be able to select just that little section, and then change the hue of it, to make it red,
I have a picture of a beach and sky, I want to replace the sky with one generated in Bryce, which I have already done.
I used the Magic Wand on the beach photo in order to select and replace the sky but whenever I move the new sky in, it comes as a whole lock and doesn't just show through the magic wand selection I've created. I'm sure there must be a way to "replace" this sky. Can you help please.
Secondly, I'm trying to add a plug in to the filters folder but the Edge Effect I downloaded was a "atn" file, all the effects seem to be "8BF" files, how can I download a plug in, there doesn't seem to be any other "atn" files.
I want to take the sky from one image and use it on another image. I can do this in Photoshop Elements just fine...but can't seem to get it to work in CS3. I open both images and select the image with the sky. I then use the Move tool to drag it over to the image I want to work on. The problem is, it moves over as a very small image and I can't figure out how to resize it. In PSE, it moves over and has the "marching ants" around the edge so I can grab a corner and resize. In CS3, there are no "marching ants" on the edge.
I have attached to this thread 2 photos, 1 - original picture 2 - the background that I would like to apply. if you can guide me how to replace the background in the most effective way so it looks real
