Photoshop :: TAKING FACE OF ONE OBJECT AND REPLACING IT WITH ANOTHER?????
Jul 2, 2006
My question is how do I take one object like a face of one person and replace it with that of another? I got to submit a school project and this is part of it....
I have a photo of a group of people however one person is not looking. I am trying to crop one face out of a near identical shot and place into the other photo where everyone is looking.
I have a layout in CS6, with an image that is a smart object. I have a folder of jpgs, and need to make comps from each of the JPGs. At the moment I take the master, double click the smart object. Place in the source JPG from the folder I'm working on. Save, back in the master, I export the updated layout for web. Then repeat.
What I'd like to do, is use an action or script, that I could point to the folder of JPGs, and have it automatically, update the smart object with the JPGs export the comp as jpg for all of them.
Is there a way to do this without being a programmer?
replaced the head on the attached photo and would like to use this for an employee presentation. How I can make it look a little more real? The employees are going to know that it was photoshopped, but still would like to make it better if possible. I still feel the head is a little too bright.
If it is possible to replace objects in a scene with light objects. The normal replace function in the import menu will only replace normal mesh objects with other mesh objects. But if I try the same by replacing box objects in my scene with the light source object I saved in a separate max file, it says it doesn't find any objects in the max file with the same name despite it having the exact same name. (both objects in question have all lower case letters in the name)
I'm currently using Max 10 to render lightmaps for a first person shooter game and I use various scripts to get the game content into the scene. The game also provides object positions for glow objects which are in positions I intend to use for light sources. Normally I go through a long tedious process of cloning light objects and positioning roughly in the same area where the glow objects are. (objects I decide not to replace with the game's object meshes appear as standard box objects in max unless I convert them to mesh objects).
But I would like to create a set of light objects and do a batch replace on some objects already in the scene with my light objects. This would save me a lot of time. Is there a function max that can do this or is there a script that can do this?
I have a colored object, and I have a specific swatch of color that I need to change the current color of the object to. The problem I'm having is that the specific color that I'm trying to apply to the object doesn't look integrated with the object itself, it just looks like I've applied a color film over it. It's milky-looking and there's not enough contrast. I've tried adjusting levels, using different blending modes, using the Match Color command ..I can't seem to keep the integrity of the color I'm applying to the object, while still keeping the integrity of the details of the object itself. How should I tackle this using multiple layers and blending modes, and so the new color looks integrated and believable?
I have a triangular shape that is against a thin surface. I need to move the pointed end around but I need for the wider end 'face selection' to stay put or be locked in space. The rig was made with bones and skin with constrain and look-at controllers on the bone and nub.
I've tried linking verts to point helpers with linked xform and I've tried every kind of contrasting I can find and I just can't get the result I need. My goal is to have the end faces lie on the thin purple wall and be perfectly locked to it so that when I move the point everything else follows but the faces against the wall to be rock solid.
You'll see me move the pointed end around. Then you'll see me select the faces on the end.
I have a large object from which 3 small legs protrude out as in the 1st picture. The faces of each of these legs are at a slight angle in world coordinates.
I have a small cylinder which I want to snap to a face seen in picture 1. My problem is that I simply don't know how to snap the cylinder's side to the face. As you can see in picture 2, a part of the cylinder is in the object, the other part is outside of the object.
I know I could use the rotate tool, but I want perfect face alignment. 1) Is it possible? 2) How
how to edit a solid with opening a hole only one face and deleting an another face..
I added a drawing file which has a coloured face solid,I put a circle on blue face and making a hole on this face, and I want to delete red face without exploding solid, after all this I want to mesh this solid with maximum 25 units.
All I need to do is merge a circular face to a flat face, so both faces become one continuous face. Is this possible at all?
I have a attached a screenshot to show what I mean. Face 1 needs to be merged with face 2. This is so if I constrain anything to that face it will constrain to the entire face and not either the circular face OR the flat face.
when I anchor the layer face over the background face the floating selection disappears which means I cannot work on the layer face and therfore am unable to erase the layer face into the background face, this is on gimp 2.6
Is there a way to use PRESSPULL on a face that's behind or underneath another face. When I use PRESSPULL it always selects the face on top and sometimes I want a face that is behind or underneath that face.
I noticed my computer was saying it had way more space used than it should. I looked around and found that there are a handful of 1 - 16 GB "photoshop temp" files in my temp folder. How did they get there? And can they be deleted?
I only have 512 MB of RAM, and the computer frequently has to use the HDD since I often work with 100MB+ psd files. Does that have anything to do with these huge temp files?
I like the adjustment panel on HDR toning. Is there a way that I can just use those controls without HDR taking over and doing it thing. In other words I just want to open up and not have hdrt make its adjustment I want to do it my self because all of the controls are right there.
A friend was messing with watermarks on some of my photos. Is there a way to remove watermarks he put on? It isn't a permanent picture, we are just messing with it.
I'd like to take out a line of text in an image that has a patterned background, and would like to know what tools I can use to take out the text, but try my best to keep the background as is?
I'd like to take out the 4th line, "Remote............Transmission".
Can Photoshop or another Adobe software be used to edit photo stills from digital movie images? I just want to take specific images and don't want the rest of the footage.
I am trying to take text from a image i have created but not too sure how to.I have created an image and the color of the text is coming from the background by using the Darken Color blend mode. If i remove the background, the color of the text will go as well and will just be white text. I want to have the text with the color but without the background.
i want to take out the buildings on the right and left of the water heaters, leaving the skyscrapers in the middle. i'm quite a novice at Photoshop and i can't seem to find a good way to do it without having a horrible result.... i tried doing it using the clone stamp and spot healing brush, but i just cant seem to get a good transition of the background sky from dark black to lighter grey once i take the buildings out..
i want to take live pictures with photoshop. i want to be able to capture pictures when my camera is conected to the computer . i already tried it with my webcam but the image qulity was terrible . how can i take live qulity pictures using a digital camera / video camera , is there a speciel camera or plug i can use ?
