View 2 RepliesI keep getting a dialogue box that says "Revit was unable to render the view due to an unknown error during render calculations. The rendering operation will be canceled." The only option is to click "close" and when i do so, it continues to render but only the sky and grass. My buildings are not present.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe same scene, same settings, produce 2 very different outputs in max 2011 and 2012, render to texture for normals is currently useless in max 2012.
The blue one is a correct tangent normal map created from a sphere in max 2011, the colored one is the the one created inside max 2012 from the same objects and settings, and the last is another sample of normals generated in max 2012.
I have created a 3d model of a football stadium, but when I try to render it, it comes up with this message and it cannot render the scene. I've tried everything I can to fix it, but nothing has worked.
View 9 Replies View RelatedEach time I want to have batch render with 4 camera views. I thought it would provide me with elements along with it. But it just brings me only one file as I set .png.
I know it works with State Set by changing camera view. But Batch render should work too.
I can´t believe it. Save 50% Rendertime. Fix the Render Elements Bug with Render Optimizer V3! deactivate "contrast all Buffers" with RO V3, and you have the same speed as Vray Renderelements.2014 can comming! URL....
View 3 Replies View RelatedOkey, so I want to render a normal map directly from render production. Pretty much like the Viewport Filter "Normal map" in Mudbox. Can this be done? And I also want to make clear that I do not want to use "render to texture". I dont want to do any projection against an other mesh, I want to do it directly to the camera.

Is it possible to render an object to fit exactly into the render window. i.e If I have a plane object segmented into 512 * 512 segments and I randomly colour each polygon. If I render at 512*512 pixels, I would like to fit the plane exactly so that the rendered image shows 1 pixel per polygon.
Whilst you can select region to render its not that exact and is based on the visual window. can it be utilized with render blowup.
Basically I want to render a square object exactly ( no borders) at a large resolution, hence the need for render blowup so that I can render into smaller tiles.
Is there a way in CS3 to add a 3-D effect to any image or layer with one click of a button?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am trying to use the File Browser in CS to view jpeg's...sounds easy enough. But, for some reason only some jpeg's will render and others preview as a pixelated mess.
At first I thought it might have to do with inadequate file size but through testing I found that some 1MB files worked, some didn't, some15MB files render, other's did not.
Next I thought, maybe it is only box-top compressed images that are not rendering. Further testing told me that some compressed jpeg's previewed fine, some did not.
I have tryed adjusting preferences and looked through every menu and help window--I cannot figure out what is causing this.
Tiff and PSD files render perfectly, RAW files are fine, it is just these damn Jpeg's! Does anyone out there have any clue what is going on?

Has anyone had any experience using PS to do some basic architectural rendering? Most of the pros use 3D software for rendering applications but they integrate Photoshop as well. Could these renderings even be done effectively with PS only. Post some examples if you do this kind of work.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI noticed that in the switch from 7 to CS, the 3D render filter was replaced by fiber filter. Is it gone for good or just misplaced?
Kinda sad, I really liked how it bent graphics in a more true to life way than with pucker and bloat. Has anyone come across a plug-in that does 3D goodness? I don't want to sit around and wait for Lightwave to render the simple shapes that PS used to do in shorter time.
I created several business cards and other artworks in Photoshop cs5. I was wondering if Photoshop can generate a visualization of business cards (for example) like if it was a real PRINTED business card and place on table (like a real render)? if not, do you know any tool that do such thing for Photoshop work ?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI've got a problem with a Photoshop CS6 version I use in my office (Windows 7). Everytime I try to export a video from the timeline to use an image sequence on a graphic software it keeps crashing. The video render initializing starts and stops more or less at 80%.
If I cancel it, I cannot use Photoshop again as it keeps restarting at anytime only for stopping itself always at the same point. So I have to force it to close with the task manager.
does it really takes forever? im waiting for about 2 hours++ now at this moment
View 5 Replies View Relatedthe bugginess of Photoshop 64 bit CS6 Extended 3d (v13.0 x32 -- no updates since launch??) on a Windows 7 x64 workstation. It constantly crashes, renames my layers, and scenes will suddenly go into the netherworld requiring a PS restart.
However, after spending hours assembling a scene with just 3 simple postcard meshes, I can no longer affect the meshes' coordinates or sizes either by dragging or typing in numbers in to the properties panel -- after attempting a move, it shows the busy cursor for a second or two and then puts the mesh back where it started. To add insult, it adds an undo state to move the mesh back! I tried restarting PS to no avail.
I hesitate to re-assemble the scene with a new file if this is a common occurrence.
Is there a way to have some kind of fog render according to layer order, so the layer at the bottom would be let's say 50% colored in white and the top layer only 10% and the layers in between with the proper percentages?
