Photoshop :: Remotely Deactivate Installed Copy Of CS5
Sep 1, 2013
I had Photoshop CS5 installed on my laptop. The hard drive recently crashed and had to be replaced. Because it crashed suddenly, I was unable to deactivate the install. Is there any way to remotely deactivate it so I can install it on the new hard drive? I have a Student copy so it can only be activated on one computer at a time.
I am trying to use the program, and the last time I used it, must have been on my old computer. It is telling me to deactivate the other copy but I no longer have the computer.Â
I am working with inventor 2014 professional now. But There is a problem. it is ( a: 2d translator not installed and b:sketch export failed ) . dxf drawings of sheet metal environment, particularly these problems started recording format.
I need to access Photoshop CS 5.5 running under Windows 7 remotely. I have Go To My PC and is works, but is there a solution that is better and faster?  Second, is the PC from which I access Photoshop relevant to performance – assuming I stick with Go To My PC?
Im trying to install PS CS5 on my Macbook Pro remotely from iMac, 59% complete it asks for disc 2, put disc 2 into iMac and it will not continue installation, just says 'insert disc 2' to continue
How to make an iLogic routine run from a completely different document than the one it's in? I have tried everything from remotely changing properties to even editing a sketch in the model to try an trigger a routine. Nothing works. I have set triggers to fire when the part opens but opening the documents with code doesn't fire those triggers. It’s very frustrating to have to open each part in an assembly manually just to get all the routines to run.
Is there any way to close a drawing that is open on another user's computer, from my computer?
We have a problem with engineers opening a drawing, printing and marking up that drawing, then taking the print to a drafter to make changes to the drawing, but failing to close the electronic drawing file.
Normally, we just call the engineer and ask them to close the drawing. If they were away from their desk, we could just walk over and close the drawing ourselves. Now that's not possible. We have a new security protocol which locks the user's computer after ten minutes of non-use. We each create our own password which we're not supposed to share with others. I just want to be able to log into the server and close a drawing that someone else has open.
I have a Nikon D4 with a WT-5 wireless transmiter and lightroom 3.6. When I follow the steps to make it work, lightroom cannot detect the camera, but the camera does seem to recognize lightroom.Â
I want to setup my camera, Nikon D5100, for pole aerial photography. I want to have the ability to connect my laptop to the camera up on the pole so I can adjust zoom, etc.  Can I achieve this with Lightroom?
I understand how Smart Previews work. What I'm unsure of is...will we be able to edit these files remotely, separate from the host computer? For example, I'm an image editor and I live 500 miles away from the photographer that I work for. Can they (the photographer) download the images after shooting, create Smart Previews then send me the 'Smart Preview' folder of images, I edited them on my own computer then return the Smart Previews back to them fully edited?
I want to uninstall / reinstall Photoshop cs6. When trying to deactivate it, it asks me to connect to the internet. But I am connected and the other help menus of Photoshop (update search, customer service...) connect to the internet without any problem.
Only desactivation fails to connect. Norton Firewall is defined with adobe Photoshop and adobe appl manager authorized.
How can I deactivate Photoshop if the PC is gone? We had a Pc with big problems, on it was Photoshop cs5. Before I have the chance to try it, someone took the pc and destroy it totally to prevent someone to take anything from it specially data. What can I do now, we need this Photoshop on another machine.
will i be able to still open cs2, in order to see my preferences and other settings, to help me set up the cs2 on my new computer? or will it totally not open?
all I run two desktop machines both running (until today) Windows XP. I have now bought a new Vista based machine so I deactivated the CS4 version on one old machine and successfully installed CS4 on my new one. After installation, CS4 told me that I was still running 2 versions of CS4 and I had 30 days to deactivate one of them. Bit odd I thought so back to the old machine and I started up CS4 again and right enough, it was still 'active'. I deactivated it again thinking I must have been mistaken and this time, double checked that it said 'successfully deactivated' however when I restarted, it was active again. As an experiment, I tried this with the second machine and it did the same thing (stays active even after saying it was deactivated).
I recently purchased Photoshop CS3 Windows and installed it without problems. Upon launching PS for the first time,I was asked to enter the key or choose the 30 day trial. Activation completed successfully when I entered the key. I heard that you need to deactivate the license before moving to another PC so I went to the help menu and there is no deactivate option, only 'return e-license' and 'download e-license' options. The version on the disc is the extended edition, though the box does not mention this, so I am worried it may not be genuine. I am using XP x64 edition.
My old computer is dead. I just can't insubscribe my version af CS3. And so, i can't re install it on my new PC.Is it possible to find a way to insubscribe my further PC on line ? Or what else?
I have a subscription to Photoshop CS5.1 - I had to deactivate it and to download onto another pc.  The deactivation was done. When I tried a download the adobe site informed me that they no longer supported the platform that I was using (Vista). As version CS5.1 was originally purchased on this platform it would not be unreasonable to assume that the reinstallation would be required on the same platform.
I previously downloaded a copy of Photoshop CS6 off TPB, but somebody else has the serial number I used, and I can't open the application. I need to know how to deactivate my computer so I can download a trial version from the website. Â Also, I can't open the program because when I do, it comes up with a box saying "The serial number 12345678987654321 is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. You must deactivate another computer or provide another valid serial number to use Photoshop CS6 Extended again on this computer." how to deactivate it without having to open the application, and uninstalling it doesn't deactivate it.
I'm intending to update my Win7 system to an SSD for the OS/applications drive, and am considering copying all files across from my current system HDD to the new SSD (using something like Norton Ghost) as part of this process. Any implications for the activation of my copy of PS CS6?
I would assume that it would not need to be deactivated, as I'm not unistalling it, merely moving it?
I sold my old laptop after removing all programs and files. But I did not know I had to deactivate my Photoshop Cs6 and Illustrator Cs6. How can I solve this issue, I cannot install it in my new computer. Cause it says is already on two, and I don't even have it anymore.
I have photoshop CS3 on an old computer. The computer’s keys have frozen and I cannot access any form of internet. I have tried to disable it so I can reactivate it on my current computer but internet access is required to fully deactivate. Can I write to Adobe with my serial number or some other way to deactivate as this computer is so near death and PS3 is the only thing of value left on the computer.Â
I purchased Photoshop CS4 several years ago and never had a problem with it. My computer recently got a virus and now won't even turn on. I bought a new computer and I want to instal Photoshop on it, but I can't deactivate it on my dead computer. What do I do?
I'm trying to de-activate my Photoshop CS3 Extended so I can uninstall it and reinstall it from my old XP computer to my new computer which is Windows 7 . There's supposed to be a tab for De-activate under the help menu but there isn't when I click on help. I have the box, Disc and license so reinstalling it should be easy if I can just get it de-activated.
