My old computer is dead. I just can't insubscribe my version af CS3. And so, i can't re install it on my new PC.Is it possible to find a way to insubscribe my further PC on line ? Or what else?
It has recently become impossible to control the type cursor in Photoshop (also Illustrator and InDesign) so that I cannot select anything with any accuracy. Â To begin with nothing on the first line of text can be selected at all and deeper into the text it is not possible to select a singe line of text or a single word or letter. The cursor simply selects in a totally erratic way selecting blocks of text. Therefore it is not possible to edit any text.
I want to activate my Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 on my new computer. However, I cannot deactivate it on my old computer first, since that computer is broken (I know I can activate it on two computers, but that second activation is already taken by my other computer). What can I do to activate my Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 on my new computer?
I have been using CS6 for a while now and one problem that I keep encountering is the auto-selection of shape layers. Trying to auto-select a layer that's within 10 pixels of a shape layer is impossible without having to zoom in. This is a little hard to explain without images... Cue image... Â If you try to recreate the above image, where the black 20x20px rectangle is a shape and the red 38x38px rounded rectangle is rasterized pixels, you will see that auto-selecting the red rounded rectangle is impossible at 100%. Â Is this intentional and just an issue for me? Selecting pixel layers in CS5 was never this annoying. It seems that shape layers have an invisible 10px area around them stopping you from selecting anything below them. This is so frustrating with pixel UI work.
I'm trying to convert an existing VBA routine to a vb.Net dll. One of the functions is inserting and scaling an existing tif image file into a blank AutoCAD 2010 drawing. I've searched and found just a few examples, but they all seem horrifically complicated . Am I missing the simple way of doing this, or is this an example of the seemingly massive learning curve of .Net that is beginning to remind me of my collegiate C class (shudder)?

I can't find a way to import an .icc into my GIMP work.
I want to do this so that the pictures on my computer monitor match as closely as possible to the prints from my local (high-end) print shop. My screen is Spyder calibrated.
I'm trying;
Image >>> Mode >>> Convert To Colour Profile >>> (and then from the pop-up box) >>> Convert to ... (and then from the pop-up box) >>> Select Colour Profile From Disk
... and then I select the new .icc (provided to customers on the print shop's website) from a Downloads folder on my local drive.
That all sounds right doesn't it?
It stubbornly remains on sRGB.icc
I've also tried the process in;
Edit >>> Preferences >>> Colour Management
Same result - ignores the selection of a new .icc and remains stuck on sRGB.icc.
I'm desperately trying to colour correct for printing today.
I have encountered problems with the viewport, randomly it has been impossible to click through wireframe models on the Viewport. Â It treats everything like a shaded object even when set on wireframe. This means that if I have to get to a rug in the basement I have to go through the Roof, ceiling, bedroom floor, kitchen ceiling, kitchen cabinets, kitchen floor, basement ceiling before I can get to the rug. This has become annoying because if I wanted to select a few objects I cant even click and drag because it will click on the roof and move that. The only way I can click on something is if I go in to perspective and click on it directly, and when an object has multiple pieces to it it becomes a hastle.
When I select the Synchronize option, it says there are over 295,000 images, which is impossible. 15 to 20,000 at most. So I never start it, cause I'm afraid of what it's trying to catalog. Why would it be giving me such a number?
I just spent my afternoon with a prospect who just want to install Inventor 2013 from the downloaded trial version. He's on windows 7 home premium x64 SP1, everything seems fine, but he's unable to launch inventor after installing it.
We chose Inventor 2013 (not pro version) with some content center libraries, without Fusion or Vault. The installation went fine with no antivirus (he's using Microsoft security essentials) and UAC disabled (minimum level). He rebooted the computer and then tried to launch Inventor and saw the message attached.
He tried alone for 3 days, and I called him today to try different things (first we tried to install inventor pro but there was a problem with some moldflow component error 1920, which is unsolved for the moment according to the different topics in the forum).
We had to manually uninstall Inventor and the different components (delete the folders, and manually go through registry to delete the keys), then reboot, run ccleaner 3 times, and then install in C:AutodeskInventor 2013
He also tried to download and run Autocad Mechanical and has the exact same problem. The installation runs well, but when he wants to run ACAD, he has the same error message.
I have been using Illustrator for a couple of years now and from time to time I encounter very strange behavior when manipulating a vector shape.I have a current example here where I simply want to create a combined shape using the pathfinder tool: Â As you can see, the generated shape (red) does not cover the original shape (green). When I use the path selection tool, I am able to reposition the first anchor but when I do the same for the lower anchor as well the entire shape is replaces a few pixel to the left. Even using the "align" tool afterwards is not useful. It seems impossible to make the red shape cover the green one.
The loading of the preset "Rich Content PDF" failed.I Choose Edit > Adobe PDF Presets. I Click Import, and I select the "Rich Content PDF.joboptions" file.
But I have an error message (Impossible to copy the PDF preset).
I want to uninstall / reinstall Photoshop cs6. When trying to deactivate it, it asks me to connect to the internet. But I am connected and the other help menus of Photoshop (update search, customer service...) connect to the internet without any problem.
Only desactivation fails to connect. Norton Firewall is defined with adobe Photoshop and adobe appl manager authorized.
How can I deactivate Photoshop if the PC is gone? We had a Pc with big problems, on it was Photoshop cs5. Before I have the chance to try it, someone took the pc and destroy it totally to prevent someone to take anything from it specially data. What can I do now, we need this Photoshop on another machine.
will i be able to still open cs2, in order to see my preferences and other settings, to help me set up the cs2 on my new computer? or will it totally not open?
all I run two desktop machines both running (until today) Windows XP. I have now bought a new Vista based machine so I deactivated the CS4 version on one old machine and successfully installed CS4 on my new one. After installation, CS4 told me that I was still running 2 versions of CS4 and I had 30 days to deactivate one of them. Bit odd I thought so back to the old machine and I started up CS4 again and right enough, it was still 'active'. I deactivated it again thinking I must have been mistaken and this time, double checked that it said 'successfully deactivated' however when I restarted, it was active again. As an experiment, I tried this with the second machine and it did the same thing (stays active even after saying it was deactivated).
Error message in the opening of Photoshop CS6. " Impossible to synchronize the regulations of color, because the file of parameters of color is untraceable ". Computor with Vista SP2
I installed the retina display-optimized update to my purchased (non-Creative Cloud) version of Photoshop Design Standard (via the Adobe Updater app that pops up in my menu bar only when updates are available), but now when Photoshop launches, I get Photoshop Extended (and it's a trial version). Is this a known issue? Will I need to reinstall Photoshop?
I have recently stumbled upon a problem I cannot correct. I am using Corel 11 and although I have the default CMYK palette selected, all the colors ( for CorelDraw and PhotoPaint) are in 255 percentages as opposed to the 100% CMYK model. I must have inadverdently selected this color mode but cannot figure out how to revert back to the 100% model. This makes it impossible to determine the exact color you want based on CMYK percentages. I know this is a RGB model but all colors are displayed in CMYK ex. C- 233 M- 122 Y- 114 K- 155.
I recently purchased Photoshop CS3 Windows and installed it without problems. Upon launching PS for the first time,I was asked to enter the key or choose the 30 day trial. Activation completed successfully when I entered the key. I heard that you need to deactivate the license before moving to another PC so I went to the help menu and there is no deactivate option, only 'return e-license' and 'download e-license' options. The version on the disc is the extended edition, though the box does not mention this, so I am worried it may not be genuine. I am using XP x64 edition.
I updated CS4 (student version) to CS5.5 commercial version. The brushes, patterns, shapes and styles I had installed in the CS4 Photoshop version were not loaded into the new version. I no longer have the original files of these assets (or customizations). Â How can I load these in the updated version?
I have a subscription to Photoshop CS5.1 - I had to deactivate it and to download onto another pc.  The deactivation was done. When I tried a download the adobe site informed me that they no longer supported the platform that I was using (Vista). As version CS5.1 was originally purchased on this platform it would not be unreasonable to assume that the reinstallation would be required on the same platform.
I previously downloaded a copy of Photoshop CS6 off TPB, but somebody else has the serial number I used, and I can't open the application. I need to know how to deactivate my computer so I can download a trial version from the website. Â Also, I can't open the program because when I do, it comes up with a box saying "The serial number 12345678987654321 is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. You must deactivate another computer or provide another valid serial number to use Photoshop CS6 Extended again on this computer." how to deactivate it without having to open the application, and uninstalling it doesn't deactivate it.
I'm intending to update my Win7 system to an SSD for the OS/applications drive, and am considering copying all files across from my current system HDD to the new SSD (using something like Norton Ghost) as part of this process. Any implications for the activation of my copy of PS CS6?
I would assume that it would not need to be deactivated, as I'm not unistalling it, merely moving it?
I sold my old laptop after removing all programs and files. But I did not know I had to deactivate my Photoshop Cs6 and Illustrator Cs6. How can I solve this issue, I cannot install it in my new computer. Cause it says is already on two, and I don't even have it anymore.
