Is is possible to run Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop-CS6 CC simultaneously in the same computer? For instance PSSC6 for batch processing and PSSC6-CC for image editing?

running on a PC windows 7 with 16 meg of ram and 6 core processor, had previously had CS 5 mater edition running fine. cleaned it off the system and now cannot for the life of me get cs6 or cc to work.
If I try and load new 3D materials using the "Load Materials" menu item Photoshop sends me to a web page which no longer allows logins due to the transition to Revel. Since Revel appears to be for user content I can't see why the 3D materials would be there.Where are the additional 3D textures for Photoshop ? I have searched Adobe.com but cant find a mention of them directly.

Can not save the file then the problem stays forever. I can´t touch/change any text layer without this problem. Happens on every ca. 10th - 20th file I open... how can this be fixed?

View 7 Replies View Relatedwindows7 Epson 2880 printer I can print in Lightroom with no problem. CS6 was printing okay. Now when I try printing it says proceeding , but nothing happens. Cs6 does not crash. Just won 't print. My printer dialog box says error printing then recover file , but when i try again nothing. everything else seems okay. View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create a timeline wherein the camera rotates in a circle around a 3d Object that is located at the origin of the Ground Plane. I click 3d Camera in the Timeline to create my beginning keyframe, I drag the time slider to the end of the timeline, and I Rotate the camera view around the Z (vertical central) axis of the ground plane. I have the caps lock on so that the ground plane stays perfectly level as I rotate.)
As I am rotating the 3d Camera, the entire scene appears to rotate around the Z axis at the origin of the ground plane, which is what I want the animation to look like, but this is not the scene that plays back. When I play back the scene by clicking the play button or dragging the time slider, it rotates off-axis around some other center of rotation, with my 3d object often rotating out of the scene.
Photoshop x32 and Photoshop x64 don't run simultaneously . . . as far as I know. When either is already running and I attempt to start the other it refuses to start.
My plug-ins aren't 64-bit compatible.
Therefore I'm constantly closing PS x64 and opening PS x32 to do stuff with my plug-ins. Then closing that and starting up the x64 version again.
I have 10 layers in my PSD that all have the same text, but I need to change that text on a regular basis and as of now I have to change each one individually. Is there some way of selecting the layers you want changed so that you can change all of them at once?

How do I link(or whatever) 3D layers in order for them to move together (such as, rotating)? I have a logo that has two layers, and I want the 2nd layer to be raised up off the other layer.
I have tried to link them, but when I do that, there's a circle with a line through it, signifying this I can't rotate the; environment, scene, current view, or the shape.
How do I over come this?
I've replaced my Ps 5.5 by Ps 6. Now I'm having problems with opening psd files in Camera Raw; in Ps 5 I worked from Bridge and could open that type of files from Bridge to ACR.
I just found out how to open it in Photoshop: open as....RAW file. But I want several psd-files opening in ACR simultaneously, because I want to synchronize them. That is not possible; I can only select just 1 file.
I'm working on a PNG that's supposed to be tiled for use as a web background. It's an image of clouds, and since it's an organic form, I want to avoid it looking tiled, I'm editing the edges to make them blend together.
I've got 9 identical layers over a white background, and what I'm LIKE to do is have any change I make in one layer be reflected in all 9. Can that be done? It would come in pretty handy about now...

I have 4 different text layers showing up, and they're all visible. (a real small "the," a much larger "Wedding," a small "of," and a large "Jane Smith.") I like to have the different words on separate text layers so I can move them around and lay them out the way I like.
I got to the point where I wanted to apply blending effects to the text (drop shadow, bevel, whatever). Now, since I have 4 different text layers, what I'd normally do is merge them into one rasterized layer and then do my effects. But I'm wondering if there is a better, more non-destructive way.
I do video graphic design at my job, working with a video editor, and it would be extremely convenient if I could apply effects to multiple text layers without first rasterizing and merging the layers. i.e. when my boss or the client is looking over my shoulder, and I can show him what the text looks like with the blending FX without having to commit to the text placement/size by rasterizing/merging.

I have CS5 installed on a desktop computer that crashed and I can't get it working to deactivate CS5. I am going to purchase a new desktop and would like to install CS5 on the new computer, but it was already installed on two computers (desktop and laptop) so no activations are left. As the computer has a lot of memory in reserve; I want somehow all the iTriggerRules to be run at the same time as this would save a lot of time.

When I used earlier versions, I could have numerous images open in the workspace, re-sizing, comparing, cross-cloning, etc. Now with X3 I can't seem to find any setting that will allow that same multiple image viewing. I've looked at the documentation but can't find any mention of this issue.
Am I just missing some checkbox or did Corel abandon this capability?

The thing is that I lost my main catalog in a hard-drive failure and my last backup is too old. Fortunately I always "export a folder as catalog" into the original pictures folder, so I always keep starring, color editing, etc.
What I would like to do now is to import each of these litle catalogs into one new main one, without having to import each at a time, but all simultaneously, which would save me an enormous amount of time.

The method I am referring to is when you select faces in a part document, rickt click and select properties from the context menu, a dialog box pops up called "Face Properties" which prompts you to select a colour and click OK. when this is done all of the faces are changed at once.
How do I replicate this via the API?
Currently I have it iterate through each face in a part document and apply the colour override one by one which can take a while when there are about 1000 faces. You can see each face changing as you go.
I have an assembly with multiple parts.
I wish to change the colour (how they're displayed) of a few of them.
When i right click on the part, i can select iProperties>Occurrence>Appearance
When i control + select multiple items, then right click, the Appearance tab is greyed out.
Not a huge problem at the moment, but in future, I may wish to make 30 + different parts a different colour and would like to do it in one step.
