On the default, when I open 3D PhotoShop file (created in CS4) The Environment texture of 3D object (created in CS4) has scale equal ZERO (instead 1, as it was in CS4).
View 1 RepliesI loaded Photoshop 10 and then imported/moved my catalogs from Photoshop 6. They are all scrambled - do not honor import dates/sequence and have dates and file names all intermingled. It is really a screwed up mess. I haven't found a way to unscrew it! - Or tell me I get to live with it!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI cannot convince Lightroom 4.1 running on Windows 7 to import to the drive given in Catalog Settings>Location. It invariably imports to the drive where the Lightroom application resides... correct folder name but wrong drive. I've checked everything, and both the Windows Users Photo folder and Windows Photo Library folders are pointing to the correct drive as well.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a problem trying to import objects to load their correct material properties. The textures are all there but I have to reset there specular properties everytime. Even if I import the same object straight after I export it with the materials properly set, I still have to reset them all over again. Is there a setting somewhere like in Customize that I can change to make the objects maintain their properties on import?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI wish to import from a TOPCON file. The points are from a GPS unit and are in standard form (easting, northing and elevation). I have been able in import the points into AutoCAD, and although they are in the correct location relative to each other, their geographical information has been altered (ie, the old coordinates are lost, and any measurements between points are now completely inaccurate).
I am working in metric units, and I think the problem may be that when I import the block, it comes in with 'block units' in inches. I cannot see how to change this. I also cannot select 'locate using geographical information' when I insert the block, which I think may be important in preserving geographical information.
Any way that i can open and correct a batch of 80 raw files in cs4 at same time as it is taking hours to do them singly
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was trying to create a simple slideshow with sound when first my computer warned of low memory (something that doesn't seem plausible), and then Photoshop Elements 9 and the associated organizer crashed. When I brought it back, several photos were "grayed out" and my organizer is completely frozen. The error suggests that there are corrupt files. I tried to follow the instructions on the website, but cannot find any sort of Catalog menu or means of changing anything in the catalog or organizer as indicated in the troubleshooting and restoration instructions.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased a Pentax K-5 ii and am taking RAW images. Originally I took DNG images but when I saw that the new service pack issued on 31st January gave new support to Pentax K-5 ii RAW format, I thought I would record in PEF.
I did this but find that the images suffer a strange color reversal: Red is recorded as Blue; Green and Yellow as Cyan; Blue as Brown and Brown as Magenta. The images appear in their correct colors in other software and on the monitor in the camera.
I just noticed yesterday that when I have RAW (DNG) files in my LR5.2 library, I can select the correct lens profile to apply. When I take three of those files and merge them together in Photomatix Pro they come back as a single TIFF file. Now LR only has one lens profile available, and it is the wrong one.
This is happening with my Sony NEX-7 and Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR DI-III VC. With the RAW files, I have a list of Tamron lenses from which to choose, and the correct one is available. For the merged TIFF file, however, only a single Tamron lens is available for selection, and it is not the lens I used.
I am an archaeologist working with survey equipment and Map3D for a few years but now I have the following problem.
When I import the shapefiles created in my leica/topcon equipment into Map3D (mapimport) there is the possibility to select which attributes are going to be imported with an import profile file (.ipf).
How do I create the above and save it so that I do not have to go through the same process again?
If I bring link in a dwg file origin to origin. The line work comes in correct and straight but in the wrong position.
If I link in a dwg file by shared coordinates it comes in in the right position but the dwg lines aren't straight if you move the mouse they jump around.
I have a Fuji X-e1 and the latest update of LR 4.4 running on 10.6.8, 16GB RAM, all OS software up to date.
The problem is my Fuji RAW files don't show the correct lens profile in the Develop module. The only choice available to choose is for Fuji X100 (which I've never owned or shot). The metadata in the Library module is correct for both the lens and camera, and also shows correctly in Bridge.
However, with the same software on a friend's Macbook Pro -- also 10.6.8, LR 4.4, etc. -- the lens profile correctly allows for the X-e1 and 18mm lens auto-correction.
I uninstalled LR on the desktop using an uninstaller called Zap It, downloaded 4.4, reinstalled and still the same 'error'.
I have a problem with After Effects being unable to process image files in the correct order when making time-lapse videos.AE seems unable to identify the correct chronological order from the camera generated file names and the files need to be re-numbered with a number prefix.
However sometimes even after re-numbering AE still cannot order the files correctly and will generate a video with either individual or blocks of frames out of order.
I have another app (Video Velocity) that can also suffer exactly the same problem and which will often process a video with the exact same individual or blocks of frames out of order as AE.
However VV has options to order the files in various ways including ‘sort by file create date’ in which case the time-lapse video will be processed correctly. AE doesn’t seem to have this option? Or does it?
I'm trying to create a swatch in Illustrator with our company's colors. I already succeedid in creating a palet with the RGB and CMYK colors, but I also want to do this with the PMS colors.However, I can't seem to find the correct color book in which to locate the correct PMS color.
I only have the number of the PMS color, I don't know which color book to choose?
I am currently using a Nikon D7100 and recording my photos in the Raw/NEF-RAW format. Recently, whenever I am uploading my photos to Lightroom 5, my photos are changing to .dng files rather than staying in the NEF file. When I go and look back at my previous imports from the past few times, they are in NEF and NOT in .dng. Why is this doing this and how do I turn this feature off so that my files remain the same going from my camera to my computer through importation.
