We reinstalled Windows 7 64bit to Windows 7 32bit and now all previously created Corel Draw X5 files in Win 7 64bit did not show correct fonts in Win 7 32 bit. All fonts are installed.

The problem is my Fuji RAW files don't show the correct lens profile in the Develop module. The only choice available to choose is for Fuji X100 (which I've never owned or shot). The metadata in the Library module is correct for both the lens and camera, and also shows correctly in Bridge.

However, with the same software on a friend's Macbook Pro -- also 10.6.8, LR 4.4, etc. -- the lens profile correctly allows for the X-e1 and 18mm lens auto-correction.

I uninstalled LR on the desktop using an uninstaller called Zap It, downloaded 4.4, reinstalled and still the same 'error'.
When I click on the Font Navigator icon, the window opens, but there are no fonts anywhere.......it's empty !! When I click on View All Fonts, nothing happens .  How do I get my installed fonts to show up in my Font Navigator?

View 7 Replies View Related I've upgraded to CorelDraw X6 but I need the files I make to be openable in Coreldraw 10. When saving I use the drop down box and choose the option for 10 and if they are opened again in X6 before they are opened in 10 they are fine, but when these files are opened in 10 they crash and the file gets wiped (when opened again it's just a blank page).
A not so obvious box that needs ticking? An option I have missed somewhere?
Is it because the version i have is 64bit? Or is it just not possible to downsave files properly anymore, is 10 just too old now?
I just tried to open a CorelDRAW document on my other computer where I'm obviously missing one of the document's fonts.
Problem:
The CorelDRAW font substitution dialog does not list the missing fonts:Â
Thus, it's impossible to install them to get the document working as expected.x.

I think you should read the original mail again. Hint: "system fonts not shown" is not the problem, but the desired outcome.I have accidentally read a "not" into the original mail, thus it became "to get Gimp to *not* only show fonts from the user/fonts file"
The configuration to check is the fonconfig settings then, for example the the global, system-wide fonts.conf file. It may contain references to the global font directories, for example /usr/share/fonts/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts. URL....
If you comment those out, then you can (and have to) add all font directories in GIMP's settings, for example.

When I open up existing Corel files the fonts are missing. The fonts are there in other applications, just not in t Corel. We have other machines with Windows 7Â and X3 and they work fine.
I currently have Graphics Suite 12. As you know there are 3 CD discs full of fonts and CDR files . . . . how do I view them . . . how do I search them??In the "good ol' daze" Coral gave us a thing called a BOOK that showed all the fonts and CDR images on the disc, but alas . . . no more books . . . all those hundreds CDR files would be very useful . . . if I knew what they were (same with all the fonts).

View 10 Replies View RelatedI've been using Corel Draw and Photo-Paint for many years, on many versions of Windows, and as far as I remember, Windows Explorer has always shown a thumbnail for a .cpt file instead of the plain icon.
I've now got a Windows 7 machine (professional version 64 bit), and .cpt files show up as plain white icons, instead of thumbnails.
In Connect I see only blank thumbnails of my .cdr files. The nice thing of this program should be thati can scroll through my files and look at large thumbnail So I know what iám working on.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI'm using Windows 7. The previews were working now they just don't work, "preview not available". I see no check box in window 7 to turn that on or off, unlike in windows xp. I have tried turning on large thumbnails in windows explorer when opening files, older files will show up but most recent files just show the Corel Draw icon large.
Could this be some kind of auto update from Windows? Since I have no destination, I'm never lost.
I am trying to export a file for my printer and my CMYK colors are not looking right on the exported file, they are very dull and the colors are not the same at all.Â
I have changed my DRAWÂ files to be ONLY CMYK colors and have experimented with the Color Management tool to no use at all and reset the workspace.
For example: the blues that my client chose are C56 M0 Y6 K0 and C30 M0 Y60 K0 - they look great onscreen, but once I export to a jpg/eps/tif/etc the colors dull down and don't match at all! Â

A client really likes a font and wants me to incorporate it into her logo. I installed the font and it's working in Pages and other programs, but not in Adobe CS6 applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). I installed a ttf and an otf version of the font but neither work. I installed & validated the font with Font Book. I've tried a lot of the fixes I've seen on these forums but nothing's worked. I've restarted my computer a few times too.

Why can't Windows Explorer show thumbnail previews of DNG's on my Windows 8.1 64bit Pc. I assume is has something to do with not having the DNG codec. However, on Adobe's website it says their DNG codec only works on Windows 7.

View 12 Replies View Relatedwhy Lightroom 3 won't import NEF files taken on a D90. OS Windows 7 home Premium 64 bit, 8GB Ram, 1.5TB HD, Intel i7 860 2.8ghz, ATI Radeon 5700 Display driver series, lightroom 3 64 bit installed.
The first issue is that import in lightroom either A) Starts the import, gets through about 10 NEF files and locks/hangs indefinately followed by the Lightroom is not responding message and lightroom has to be closed down or B) Opens import module but locks/hangs whilst trying to find the images which are on an SD card - this happens whether the card is inserted into the PC card reader, an external card reader or direct from camera or C) Will not even consider opening the import module. The import module also freezes/hangs when trying to create a new catalogue. As it stands I'm unable to import directly into Lightroom from an SD card - and I've tried different cards and brands.
The strange thing is I'm having a similar issue trying to transfer the NEF files by using windows explorer - i.e. freezes & hangs, however after a number of attempts I am eventually able to copy the files over to the HD - although it is so slow.... & back-up to an external HD. Now here's the strange thing, once the NEFfiles are transfered onto the HD Lightroom will import them, but not without a fight. Again in the import module it freezes/hangs but when the "lightroom is not responding" message comes up, if you choose the "wait until lightroom" responds option it eventually imports the chosen files.
I've tried all the usual fixes - start a new catalogue, delete preferences & .lock files, unistall & re-install, update codecs for Nikon files, recalibrate the colour profile, use a generic sRGB profile, update ATI drivers etc. All other modules etc appear to work fine, although I don't use all of them, but certainly everything in library and develop aooears normal
As it currently stands I'm having to reconsider whether I want to continue investing in the Lightroom system as it just isn't acceptable for this to keep occuring and no fixes released by Adobe. I've used lightroom since 1.0 and Nikon NEf files through that time, but since version 3 it has become impossible to utilise
Just installed CS6 on my new workstation and Photoshop; it freezes upon opening.Every other program I have installed has worked flawlessly, including the rest of the CS6 Suite and Lightroom 5.Both Windows and the Adobe Suite have all available updates already installed.Computer is a new HP Z420 Xeon Workstation, Windows 7 Pro 64bit, 16GB Ram.
View 15 Replies View RelatedCorelDraw X6 quits responding when trying to import Acad drawing (vectors). To try to get around this I opened the DWG with CorelDraw X6 instead of importing. Then saved as a CDR and then tried to import the CDR. CorelDraw X6 quit responding again.
Note* Tested with CorelDraw 5 and it worked without problems.
