Each time when I move an image to another canvas, the image becomes very small. How do I stop the image from doing that?
I want the image to go on the canvas without resizing itself automatically, but instead me resizing it with ctrl+t and shift.
I wish to move photoshop 4 from windows 7 to windows 8...

It seems a bit awkward that when moving my Photoshop window from screen 1 to screen 2 I have to move every single palette one at a time? And if i save a custom work space and load it when my Photoshop is on my second screen it still places the palettes as they were saved on screen 1 instead of relative to where my Photoshop window is placed.
View 4 Replies View RelatedUsing the "Folder Location" view in PSE 10, I have successfully moved all but one of my photo folders from a problematic user account into a new user account on my PC. One stubborn folder will not be moved, with PSE 10 incorrectly citing that "No files from this folder have imported into Elements Organizer."
I restarted PSE 10 multiple times, repeated the process, and even followed the instructions to "Right click on the folder and select 'Import to Organizer.'" The latter action, of course, imported nothing because the 3,000+ files in that file already exist in the Organizer.
As an experiment, I successfully used Windows Explorer to move the folder (don't worry, I undid the move before PSE 10 had a chance to disconnect the files from the Organizer) to the new user account. No problems with that temporary move, but I'm not interested in waiting for PSE 10 try to reconnect all 3,000+ files if I made that my permanent solution.
I have Photoshop CS6 on my 32 bit pc, it has windows 7. I now have a now pc windows 7 64 bit. How can I transfer my CS6 to my new pc?
I looked on your sire from my new pc but could only find Creative Cloud.When I downloaded it, it would not accept my license number.
The smaller windows that come up such as those for adjusting the levels, brightness/contrast, etc. moved little by little each time I used them, but I never paid attention until my Levels window moved so far up when it opens to its default location that I can't get to the top of it to move it anywhere. This has happened to a couple other windows for me, and I can't figure out how to fix it! I tried resetting the workspace, changing resolutions back and forth, restarting.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to move folders within the library in LR5. The new folder is created and the raw files are moved ok. However, xmp files are generating error messages. Also, any other files in the folder are causing the same issue. After the raw files are moved over the original folder remains in the library, although it is now empty. It can be removed from the library subsequently.Also, after checking the "new" folder in windows explorer it appears that the xmp files have been moved after all.
I'm using a Chillblast photo oc desktop with i7 overclocked at 4.5 Ghz, 32Gb of Ram, Win 8 64 bit professional. The original folder was on a fast SSD scratch disk and was being transferred to a 1TB RAID backup drive.Problem with LR, Win 8, or file permissions? LR3, LR4, on win XP or Win 7 machines.

Moving a photograph from one folder to another creates two copies, one in the destination folder and one in the originating folder.In grid view, right clicking on a discarded photo and choosing delete from disk no longer works as the photo deleted does not show in Lightroom but in windows the files still remains on the hard drive.
In the first few months these two features worked properly but no longer respond in the same way. I tried Alt delete and the photo was removed from Lightroom but not from the original folder.
Is this a bug or a windows problem?

It will be a standard 8.5x11 background page that will have small boxes of each senior, along with a box at the bottom of the photo that has their name and position. Sounds easy enough, I know. I came up with the idea to make a "Sr. Player Block" template with a block (just a rectangle shape) set at the bottom of the page which would allow me to pick the players image, arrange it to where it goes to the back so the block will show, adding their name and position on it, and then I was planning on flattening and saving each block and moving it to the background page. My problem is, is that when I open the actual photo, which looks great, nice and clear, to the block template, it gets pixalated and looks fuzzy! I have also noticed the same problem on some family program ads i have attempted, the photos I have opened (that get opened in a different little box look fine, but when i move them they look blurry...

I want to select part of an image with just one layer. Say I just flattened the image and have to move one part of. I select it with the rectangular select tool. It seems intuitive that I could then just move what I selected, but when I drag the selection, the selection itself moves without moving what is inside the selection.
If I then remember to click the move tool and try to move what's in the selection (seems to work sometimes, maybe when there's multiple layers?) the entire image moves.
The only way I can move part of the image over is if I make a selection and then cut it (ctrl X) then paste it.
How am I supposed to move part of the flattened image, is there a way I can set it to default to "When I select something, I can immediately drag that selected area around."
I have a question. When I add .gif images into Paint.NET, they're not moving..
Now I'm wondering, is there a plug-in for Paint.NET to add .gif images and edit each frame?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am ruhnning Windows &7 Pro, 64 bit and I'm experiencing inconsistent behavior in Lightroom 3.5 with regard to moving images within collections. When I try to move an image, to place it in the order in which I would like view the sequence, the image is placed at the end of the sequence no matter where I place it initially. I've tried the filmstrip view and the grid view and it happens in both. I recall doing this without problems previously however it was in the imported Library not a collection, but why would this be different?? One still needs to reorder images in collections. I've made certian to change the "sort" option to user each time I've tried to do this.

To organize the files after I get them into LR, I separate them into folders based on the individual in the image (it is easier than it sounds) . But to my surprise, when I move them, the images are removed from the original folder and are not in the new folder. I am hoping that they are being lost in the catalog and not being deleted.
How can I fiend the images again, and how can I get LR to recognize the images in the future...I am moving them within LR!
The Mac RAW module shows all opened images in a column on the left, the Windows RAW module opens each images one at a time, then I have to wait while it saves the modified image and opens up the next one I opened.
How do I make Windows PShop open up all the RAW images in a column so I can quickly work on all of them?

Under Windows images, only the first link Tile is active. That means I can only have one layout open at a time. The next four in that section are grayed out. I need to use the last one, Consolidate all to tabs.
I re-created preferences and also did a system restore to a prior date without success. I am working on a class assignment and digital scrapping layout.
I have just returned froma trip where I processed images on Lightroom 5 on my laptop. I now want to move the collections to my main library on another drive and computer that uses Lightroom 4. What would be the best way to do this and will I need to upgrade the Lightroom 4 to 5?
View 5 Replies View Relatedi've managed to fill my mack up with images as i imported all my photos to the MAC HDD rather than an external HDD,,,school boy error : (but i am new to lightroom) as there's 30,000+ is there a way of moving them with out having to reload them to the new HDD? i only found out my mistake when the computer was running on 1% memory.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter the OS X 10.8.5 update on my current generation 27' iMac moving 1:1 images results in very low resolution for those areas I am moving to with as long as a two second delay before the image snaps back into full resolution. Not only that but when it snaps back into full resolution you see a shift in alignment and a snapping into place with the nearby area that was already in full resolution. This is awful and is occuring with Lightroom 5 and 5.2.
My iMacs specs are the current generation 27" iMac, i7 3.4 Ghz, 32GB RAM, and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2GB running OS X 10.8.5.
I did not have this issue with OS X 10.8.3.
