The Mac RAW module shows all opened images in a column on the left, the Windows RAW module opens each images one at a time, then I have to wait while it saves the modified image and opens up the next one I opened.
How do I make Windows PShop open up all the RAW images in a column so I can quickly work on all of them?
I recently saved an image on Photoshop CS6 as a PNG file so I could send it as an attachment to a client (who uses a Windows computer). They told me the file wouldn't open and instead showed as an "Unknown File".
I tried opening the file on my Windows computer, as well as a JPEG version to test out, but both came up as "Unknown Files".
The only way I could transfer the files I saved in Photoshop was to export them as PNG through the 'Preview' application.
Is there a reason why these normal formats won't open properly?
For some reason images in the library module aren’t as sharp compared to the develop module. If I’m in develop images are nice and sharp but as soon as I select the library you can see the image quality drop and image becomes less blurry!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been having problems selecting images in the library module when multiple images are in view (not down in the timeline, but in the main window). It seems sporadic with which ones it won't let me select, it somehow manages to be the ones that I need to click....!! I just literally can't click it as if it were an image I already imported or something, but it's not grayed out like that. I've been having to select a nearby image then use my arrow keys to navigate to and click the image I need.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am aware of the way to open JPGs in the ACR module by being in the Editor, and going to File>Open and changing the file type to RAW. I find this to be terribly inconvenient, however.
Is there any way to open a JPG in RAW from the Organizer where I can actually see the files? With regular Photoshop/Bridge I can just right click in Bridge and open in RAW easily. But I can't seem to find a way to do something similar in PSE11? There has to be an easier way because going to File>Open and trying to figure out what file I need from a huge pile of files is not a very good workflow.
I have run CS4 on my windows Vista pc for years without a problem. Yesterday I downloaded DNG converter 7.2 as I have purchased a Fuji Xpro and needed to be able to process the Raw files - my version of ACR is not compatible. Today I tried to look at an old image processed from a year ago in CS4 and got the error message:
"The specified module could not be found C:programfilescommonfilesAdobeAdobeVersionCueCS4Client4.0.1Ver sionCue.DLL"
I have tried to open many different images from Bridge into photoshop and from the photoshop file menu - photoshop opens with the image, then this error comes up, I click ok and photoshop closes.
In Bill of material i have custom PartQty column and is beside QTY column. I need all informations from QTY column to PartQty column to copy. Possible with iLogic? I'm selecting now manualy copy and paste but it would be nice to have automatic.

When going from develop to the web module very often images and / or thumbnails doesnt show up, the program shows only empty spaces.
i scroll through the various ones and it shows above in preview but if click on one it dont open.
View 5 Replies View RelatedFor no reason I can think of, sometimes the photo I see is different from the one that should be there. The correct one shows up in Develop, but I don't understand why Library shows a different one. Sometimes all the images in a folder get shifted over by one, or sometimes one is a duplicate view of another. And then for no reason it seems to resolve. But meanwhile I'm afraid to export the catalog to copy on another computer for fear that I'm exporting incorrect data.
View 5 Replies View RelatedOK i have been running LR4 fine and upgraded when needed. I'm currently on 4.4 and all has been well until now. When viewing images they don't look sharp! Before when clicking on a thumbnail the image would pop up all fuzzy then get sharp real quick....always has done. This also happens when zooming in to the image, it just looks fuzzy, it does not click into a sharp image to work on, the images come up but don't get sharp. Also there is not always a thumbnail in the top left above the presets. Also if you add a preset the image just disappears!! Sometimes there is just no image at all. I have deleted all references that I can find to LR on my PL including the catalogs and have re loaded LR inc the upgrade plus created a new catalog but the problem still persists.!

After that he gives me the option to choose between the length that I entered and a shorter and longer standard length witch can be delivered faster.
I want to do the same thing with my published part, but I cannot make a key parameter to change depending on the entered custom parameter. I want the user to make the next steps when inserting from the CC: 1- select the size of the rail; 2-select the type of the rail; 3- enter the desired length of the rail; 4- choose between the desired length and the 2 recommended lengths (I need these 3 lengths to be shown)
Is this possible?

After minimizing the LR5 window, the muddy yellow box remained on the desktop. Could this be a LR5 glitch/bug?
I am having trouble with the Raw fies that have been adjusted in the Develop Module loosing all of their luster and pop when switching back to Library and exporting. In other words, my adjustments are generally flattened out and colors muted when going from Develop to Library. I see that the Camera Calibration shows only ONE profile option: Matrix. However, the same single option for my 7D is also Matrix but the Raw files appear to hold my adjustments after being made in the Develop module.
I am using LR 2.7 and Camera Raw 5.7.
When I select an upright (portrait) image from library, the develope module displays a distorted landscape view. This happens to every upright file in the folder. Other folders seem to work ok without this problem.
While messing around with image rotate, read metadate, save metadata, etc I managed to make one image open up correctly but I have been unable to recreate that work around. In any case, that fiddly way would take too long as I have hundreds of files to correct!
I normally work with auto rotate ON in the camera.
The library module in the version 4.3 of Lightroom does not show all the images. They are marked with gray boxes instead of images. This is especially true of the images which I tried to import to Lightroom since I downloaded 4.3 a few weeks ago. If I want to seen an image, I have to go to the develop module to see it.

If I switch back to Library mode an image will appear but if I go back to the Develop module, again it's a blank screen! If not, how do I report this directly to Adobe?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI'm on Windows 7, running CS (2003, I thought it was CS3), and I recently installed a Monoprice graphics tablet that I assume was causing issues with my OS and mouse (PC/mouse kept locking up), and ultimately PS would no longer open either... so I uninstalled the tablet, which seems to have fixed the OS/mouse problems (after some more hassle), but PS would still not open. I just uninstalled the PS SW and reinstalled it, but still can't get it to open.
When I go to open it, it starts to boot up, but then hangs at the same point... the boot screen comes up and toggles through startup to the point of "Reading Text Global Resources...Done." then just hangs.
Also, I've seen similar threads that generally say to "Ctrl+Alt+Shift" etc to reset things, but when I try that, it doesn't bring up a reset option that I can find...
I have photoshop loaded on an external hard drive. I was using Windows Vista, but that computer crashed. I purchased a new computer already loaded with Windows 8. Photoshop will not open. I do know there is nothing wrong with the version of Photoshop because if I take the external hard drive to a different computer, it'll open and work fine.
I have changed the compatibility to everything in the list, and nothing works to open Photoshop. I do not have the disk, so I can't uninstall/reinstall, but it's on an external hard drive to begin with.
I have autocad civil 3d 2008 in my pc. From last 2 days I got a different problem i.e. when I am selecting open / save command from File menu graphical file select explorer is not opening just message in the command window . Previously I used to select files using graphical file explorer.
