Any way of converting a black object to a grey object? We have a product that is made of black plastic with metal surround and I desperately need an image of the same product with grey plastic, but keeping the detail and metal finish.
View 5 RepliesI am currently running Map 3D 2012 with CadWorx and I am having an issue with one of my multi tab drawings. Any object set to plot grey (any grey), that is in paper space, is plotting black only in one of my layouts. similar objects in model space and in both spaces on other layouts are all plotting accordingly.

I often use the Selective Color und navigate between the Colors with CRTL+1 till 9. Now Adobe changed the Shortcuts to alt+3 (for RED) till alt+8 (for MAGENTA). Now my Question -how is the Shortcut for WHITE/GREY an BLACK?
I can not use the color replacement tool to replace a grey/black color on a person's head to all black. The tool keeps getting a grey not a black, even after I select black from the swatch.
Does the image file need to be something else than RGB? I have tried other color and it does work. I have tried red and it will replace all of the grey&black, but .........
CS6 on imac and canon MG6150 printer.When I print a photo with areas of black the result looks like the black has been solarized and it prints out as a dirty grey with black edges.

View 11 Replies View Relatednew to PaintNet. I have a Hex Grid PNG file where the Hex outlines are in a shade of grey. I want to "recolor: the grey lines black. Thought the RECOLOR tool would do that but I can't seem to get it to work. The Hex grid PNG is attached to this post.

Is there an obvious reason why a polyline would plot grey instead of black? If I select a monochrome plot style table, the lines are black. I noticed certain fonts will plot grey instead of black, but I am stumped on an object.

Document color is set to RGB, not CMYK, or Greyscale. I'm totally at a loss... My customer is needing this tomorrow. So a really fast correct reponse would be FANTASTIC. Been woring on this artboard for a little over an hour and can't do what I need done. I open new Artboards and the same problem persists..

I attached the 1st picture to show exactly what is the problem, the colors should to be all black, but they are brown...The second picture shows them in paint, which works perfect...

We use to have Autocad 2007 and a lot of the files that we still work from were created in that. Everytime files are now plotted to pdf parts of the drawing appear a very light grey as oppose to black which is how they appear on the screen. In the plot style table in the page setup they are also black - and I have tried changing it from monochrome to custom pen assignments, nothing seems to change it. The files are usually in stb as oppose to ctb. whole page prints black or the colours that I have actually clicked on?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to use a smoke brush in Illustrator CS5 and colour it blue. However, when I place a black square at the back of the image as a background, the brush appears to have a grey outer edge. I have tried other brushes as well and some produce the same results.
I am wondering if this may be a setting that I'm unaware of or something else.
