I am fairly new to autocad - sometimes when I draw a rectangle little grey squares appear with red and black diagonal lines in?
What are these and how do I toggle them off and on?

I am begineer in autocad. I have to draw plot margin like ractangle having 2 horizontal line and 2 vertical line. on vertical line i want to put letters from A,B----- and on horizontal line 1,2,3,----.

However, color at some point changed to grey.
Color- by layer, transparency- by layer, viewstyle- 2D Wireframe...
The thing is if I double click on a text it turns to black but after regenall it turns to grey again!
Already did restart and everything. Looks like there is maybe some variable for color control, I don't know.
Im trying to plot a drawing and the grey lines are printing on top of black. how do I get black to print on top of grey? I am using MEP2013

View 3 Replies View Relatednew to PaintNet. I have a Hex Grid PNG file where the Hex outlines are in a shade of grey. I want to "recolor: the grey lines black. Thought the RECOLOR tool would do that but I can't seem to get it to work. The Hex grid PNG is attached to this post.

There are a couple of tiny grey squares on the upper left corner of my files. One has a "01" and the other one a symbol which I don´t know what it is.

Decided to uninstall and reinstall software. I now have software fully deploying but if you draw a square it views like a rectangle.

View 8 Replies View RelatedTotal buffoon when it comes to getting GIMP to do what I want to do. I'm just practicing with making maps, black lines on a white background, and I've run into some issues I'm wondering if I can get rectified.
1) For whatever reason, the line weight of everything has shifted throughout the file, ending with some lines lighter and grayer than others. Is there a way I can get GIMP to trace all the lines in a uniform black, with uniform thickness?
2) I have tried locking the white background, but often when I select and move my black lines, if I don't click in just the right spot it moves the white background instead, which is really, reeeaaaly aggravating. How Do I get that background to be completely untouchable?
3) In trying to colour the image, I've run into problems with their being a white outline between the colour and the black lines. I think I need to sharpen the image or somesuch? How can one correct this issue?
4) Is there anyway to convert the black dotted lines of the paths tools into straight black lines, in regards to an older file? If not, is there an easy way to trace them?
5) I find the scale too tends to make my image too jagged. I want to take a section of my map, move it too another file and enlarge it to do detail work - what's the best way to do this in order to have a clear image?
6) Any way to translate an image from a MErcator Projection ot a Winkell-Trippel projection, one that works on a Mac?
when i save my psd file i get these random black squares all ovr my picture.. what in the world can i do to remove these? i use photoshop cs6 on a mac

we get rasterized diagonal lines when printing from AutoCAD on that Printer in A0 format, straight lines are ok.
Printing FIRST to an PDF printer an THEN to the T520 ist also ok (this is what the customer currently does and the quality is good). Got some suggestions from a local ACAD dealer (max. details in the printer driver) but no success ...
I think this features is on a programas like painshop and similars, but I can't find it on photoshop, I want to do geometrical shapes using the pencil tool with soft edges.

Then there is the diagnol lines, very thing and sharp.

Using autocad 2008. I cant draw a rectangle using 2 points. I don't need a specific size just want to put a box around text. I used to pick a point and then pick point 2 to draw rectangle. On this computer when I use rectangle it ask for length and then width. Is there a system variable that won't let me put in p1 and drag to p2 to make a rectangle?

My boss came to me with a max question and its been a while since ive used max. he has a single diagonal line on the face of every solid in his model. I tried every fix i know and nothing worked.

then we found a site and the fix worked after reboot, for all of 5 minutes and the it went back. He is using XP based pc with MAX7.
Can one create diagonal guide lines in GIMP?... I couldn't find anything when searching the tutorials section.
I just made my diagonal guides with a top layer and drawing with a small white brush... but it would still be nice to know if diagonal guides can be created.

It has grey diagonal lines and no audio or visual, then all of a sudden it kicks back in? It is visible in the preview window however, so it isnt corrupt or anything

If i drag the clip shorter, the whole program then goes whack and crashes.There should be audio and visual in the grey diagonal area, as there is subtitles like shown.
i have a rectangle and a spline.to proceed my work i want to make this rectangle perpendicular to the spline.i tried the commands 'rotate3d', 'rotate'..but the problem is i dont know the angle of helix and when i try to annotate, it says the lines are parallel. is there any easy way for doing this without knowing the angle?
