Photoshop :: Infinity Symbol?
Apr 24, 2003how to make an infinity symbol? I seem to remember that there was some way to do it with text (other than flipping a number 8 on its side), but I forget it now.

Photoshop :: Cutting Out Model From Infinity Screen
Feb 8, 2008I've just done a photo-shoot with some models and my photographer wants to charge £10 per image for cutting the model out of the infinity screen. I'm decent with photoshop as i've used it for years and i could technically cut it out by magic wand and some manual cutting.
How does a pro go about quickly and nicely cutting a model out of an infinity screen?

Feb 26, 2012Any solid shape just tend to go to the right no matter what angle you look at it and as it seems to go towards towards infinity . This is in orthographic view I might add. In perspective view the cube ends within the screen but it far from cubical and changes its appearance as you rotate it. As you can see in the pictures even the axis graphics down to the left is messed up.
Picture one is while I am extruding the 10mm cube. The big orange thing is the arrow used to drag up from the sketch.
Picture two is just the 10mm cube. As you can see the wire frame works just fine and it event hides the edges behind the solid.
I just installed the software on this computer so I suspect it is my graphics card that simply cannot handle the 3D solids. It is a few years old, a NVIDIA Quadro FX 540. The shadows does not work either, probably because I do not have shader model 2.0 or newer. do I have to scrap my computer?

Mar 1, 2013The attached picture is me trying to balloon a part. I would like to just add some notes to the balloon so that I can update them manually but all I can find is to have a symbol. So I created a symbol, the insertion point for the symbol is shown. For some reason I get an extra number and the symbol offcenter. Why is this happening? What I'm really looking for is a balloon that is fully customizable so that I can just add text to the top and bottom and fill out the details.

Basically I have a lot of points on a map and I'd like to be able to name the points along with other data like tooltip callouts, etc populated via XML then loop through the XML to build the points of interest on the map. If I can get the above working I can place that variable path reference into an array and grab the data from it later. But the path is not working the way I have it.
