View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen adding the © copyright symbol to EXIF in PS it displays ok, however, all other Exif viewers that I've tried render the photo Exif data input by PS as ©, I've searched and can't find anything. I've tried two computers and always get the‚ preceeding the © in the photos Exif.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
how to get a copyright symbol (c inside a circle) into a text frame in VS?
In the past (other programs) I have found it in wingdings, but exploring all the keyboard keys (upper and lower case) in each of the wingdings fonts in VS text mode has been fruitless.
I am new to watermarks and am wanting to include the symbol that indicates copyright, rather than the whole word.
I don't know how/where to find this symbol, and how to include it with my watermark.
There should be a way to get the Truetype font symbols into Revit. Right now
I open Word and click on Insert>Symbol and place symbol in Word doc,
highlight it and c to copy to windows clipboard and then switch to
Revit and start the text command and v to paste it in the text field.
I've downloaded some new watermarks to my computer (into word) and they will display in my watermark editor in Lightroom 4. However, when I use those downloaded type styles, the copyright symbol displays in the bar below but does not display on my photo. I've also used alt0169 but it still isn't visible on my images.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy mind has gone blank. I've done this before but I've forgotten how. I'm trying to make a copyright message using the copyright (C) symbol in Photoshop, I've opened a new document, and selected text. Is it in Wingdings somewhere? I'm going to put it on to a web site using Dreamweaver.

View 2 Replies View Related40+ years ago I bought a book from a dealer who sold antique Scottish books. It is A4 in size and has 400 B/W photographs of Scotland.
There is no date in the book but the pictures are late 19th century & early 20th century. There is a reference in it regarding the opening of a new railway line. That line was opened in 1908 and I'm guessing the book is circa 1910.
A few years ago I scanned into my computer several of the views. Like a lot of early photographs the skies are almost non existent. I took out the castles, bridges, etc and made up my own skies in KPT 6.
The finished results are A3 in size.
My question is - is the copyright still valid on the book or am I free to do whatever I want with them?
By the way the company who photographed and published the book is still in existence. Also I'm from Scotland but I'm curious as to how the book would stand regarding copyright throughout the world.
My tools suddenly stopped displaying the relevant symbol (circle for the brush, etc.) whenever I move it to cover the photo I want to manipulate. Photoshop 8 used to do the same thing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe attached picture is me trying to balloon a part. I would like to just add some notes to the balloon so that I can update them manually but all I can find is to have a symbol. So I created a symbol, the insertion point for the symbol is shown. For some reason I get an extra number and the symbol offcenter. Why is this happening? What I'm really looking for is a balloon that is fully customizable so that I can just add text to the top and bottom and fill out the details.

a really simplen example would be several instances of the same button graphic but with different labels.

I know these things are possible in Fireworks, but couldn't find a way to make it happen in Illustrator.
Is there a way to "eval" or dynamically set a symbol name that has been parsed from XML to build a symbol path? For example, I'm trying to dynamically set a variable to the path of a sysmbol already on the stage, but it's not working correctly:
Â
var xmlSymName = $('symName', this).text(); // where symName = "sym4" from a parsed XML node
var whatPOI = sym.getComposition().getStage().getSymbol("sym1").getSymbol("sym2").getSymbol("sym3").getSymbol(xmlSymName).getSymbolElement();

Basically I have a lot of points on a map and I'd like to be able to name the points along with other data like tooltip callouts, etc populated via XML then loop through the XML to build the points of interest on the map. If I can get the above working I can place that variable path reference into an array and grab the data from it later. But the path is not working the way I have it.
