I've downloaded some new watermarks to my computer (into word) and they will display in my watermark editor in Lightroom 4. However, when I use those downloaded type styles, the copyright symbol displays in the bar below but does not display on my photo. I've also used alt0169 but it still isn't visible on my images.
how to get a copyright symbol (c inside a circle) into a text frame in VS?
In the past (other programs) I have found it in wingdings, but exploring all the keyboard keys (upper and lower case) in each of the wingdings fonts in VS text mode has been fruitless.
I want to put a watermark along with a copyright symbol on some of the photos that I took ( the letter C inside of a circle). I have no problem getting a watermark on the photos, But I can't seem to find out how to find the symbol. At the present time I have Photoshop Elements 11 on my computer.
My mind has gone blank. I've done this before but I've forgotten how. I'm trying to make a copyright message using the copyright (C) symbol in Photoshop, I've opened a new document, and selected text. Is it in Wingdings somewhere? I'm going to put it on to a web site using Dreamweaver.
If I apply copyright metadata to a client's purchased images will this in any way affect their ability to get the files printed (pro-lab or with public-lab) or print them themselves?
I am unable to generate a copyright symbol for my watermark using Alt 0169 from my PC laptop. One discussion said to not use the numeric keypad. It did not work for either location...numbers at the top of the keyboard or numeric keypad.Â
I create web galleries using LR 4 and often I am including images from several photographers. I should like to be able to create a copyright watermark which incorporates the photographer's name by setting it to something like Copyright <creator>Â Â Is there a way to achieve this other than setting the copyright on import for each photographer's set?
Exporting a new round of images to my rebuilt photo website this week, and very glad that LR can generate year-specific copyright tags, which are infinitely less cumbersome than my previous tactic of trying to pull copyright metadata from images at the site level. Â So far, I'm preferring the watermark layout size consistency of Lightroom's default watermark system over results from the otherwise excellent and flexible LRMogrify2 plugin. Â I'd like to either leverage a token to use copyright metadata within custom watermarks or find out how to reposition/restyle the default Simple Copyright Watermark, eg have the Simple Copyright Watermark show up in a font other than Myriad in a different position on my images... Â Hope this isn't too obscure or poorly-articulated a first question in these forums.
(Running Lightroom 4.3 on Mac OS 10.75). Â l has a tool allowing address of the default fonts for watermarks and other presentation variables in a sideways way through translation settings. It's a strong start, but other fonts are looking even more shoddily rendered by this method. Back to fidding with size and ratio options in LRMogrify2.
customer service said repeatedly that it cannot be done. I accidentally set it up when I first installed it and it is showing up in all my exported pics. I only want to put in on select exported pics. and, what if I want to change my copyright?
I have a problem with referencing an appropriate instance of Ps from Lr. I don't know too much how this works with Lr & Mac, or how it happened, but I apparently have several instances of Ps referencing different plugins, and Lr's default references the wrong one.  History: I tried the Topaz Labs plugins but ended up pruchasing and installing Nik's plugins. I followed Topaz instructions for uninstalling the plugins, but they are still showing up in Ps instances I cannot find.  The appropriate instance of Ps in in my Mac's launch tray, which calls up the app located in the folder '/Applications/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS5.1'. If I create an additional Lr external editor that points at this app it works properly. However, the default external editor (Ps) opens up another instance of Ps which does not include Nik plugins, but rather Topaz Labs plugins.  Further, if I try to open a image file from Finder ('open with') I get an "application moved" message (update or not). If I choose either 'update' or 'not to update' it opens an instance of Ps that includes both Topaz and Nik plugins. The message is mysterious, but at least I get an instance of Ps with the plugins I want.  Aside from the mystery, how can I get Lr to reference Ps that will include the Nik plugins?? Also feel free to contribute to the mystery.
I´d like to decide what metadata to include i file when exporting pictures. I want most of the data but i don´t want anyone to know my EXIF info. Is there a way to do that?
I have a catalog and images on my laptop. I have created another catalog that I want to merge with this one. It includes some duplicate images and thats fine. I want the images, keywords and folder structure from the new catalog to merge with the existing one for teaching purposes.  Lightroom wont let me Merge and include the duplicates.
