Lightroom :: (Consolidation Locked) Windows 8 And 4.2 Tethered Shooting
Nov 20, 2012I'm used to shoot tethered with my Canon 5D MarkII in Lightroom 4.2 under Windows 7. Recently I installed Windows 8, but now Lightroom can't detect my Canon 5D Mark II anymore. The problem is that Lightroom uses an older Framenetwork version (3.5) and in Windows 8 version (4.5) is build in. It's possible to download and install that older version (3.5) in Windows 8, but lightroom can still not detect my camera.

May 11, 2008When adding the © copyright symbol to EXIF in PS it displays ok, however, all other Exif viewers that I've tried render the photo Exif data input by PS as ©, I've searched and can't find anything. I've tried two computers and always get the‚ preceeding the © in the photos Exif.
Any ideas how I can fix this?

I open Word and click on Insert>Symbol and place symbol in Word doc,
highlight it and c to copy to windows clipboard and then switch to
Revit and start the text command and v to paste it in the text field.
Lightroom :: Watermark Editor Doesn't Display Copyright Symbol
Jan 1, 2014I've downloaded some new watermarks to my computer (into word) and they will display in my watermark editor in Lightroom 4. However, when I use those downloaded type styles, the copyright symbol displays in the bar below but does not display on my photo. I've also used alt0169 but it still isn't visible on my images.

Sep 19, 2012I was on a tight deadline. I got a massively layered, -- nested folders everything --Â .psd. I'm using Photoshop CS 5.5

I only needed the visible layers. So, I go to "Delete Hidden Layers" right? Ooops it was grayed out, I could not use it -- that was because of the locked layers...

Then I realized -- in the complicated layer structure I had to go through every single folder, open it, look for a locked layer and unlock it (nested folders inside of nested folders etc.). If the layer was not visible and it was locked, I had to first turn it to visible, then unlock it, and then turn it off again.

I was on a deadline, and I just didn't have time -- but I had to do it anyway. This was a painful experience... I'm telling designers from now on NEVER SEND ME A PSD WITH LOCKED LAYERS AGAIN

It would have been so much easier if I could just search for "locked layers", and "unlock all."

May 24, 2012Just installed X6. However, even though I installed Symbols and Objects from the content install, symbol manager does not see the symbols library on my hard drive. I guess it expects me to add a library, but where this symbols library is. Am I supposed to install the entire content package (I really don't want to clutter my hard drive with thousands of unwanted images) in order for symbol manager to be able to automatically find where the symbols are?
