how to get a copyright symbol (c inside a circle) into a text frame in VS?
In the past (other programs) I have found it in wingdings, but exploring all the keyboard keys (upper and lower case) in each of the wingdings fonts in VS text mode has been fruitless.
I am new to watermarks and am wanting to include the symbol that indicates copyright, rather than the whole word.
I don't know how/where to find this symbol, and how to include it with my watermark.
There should be a way to get the Truetype font symbols into Revit. Right now
I open Word and click on Insert>Symbol and place symbol in Word doc,
highlight it and c to copy to windows clipboard and then switch to
Revit and start the text command and v to paste it in the text field.
I've downloaded some new watermarks to my computer (into word) and they will display in my watermark editor in Lightroom 4. However, when I use those downloaded type styles, the copyright symbol displays in the bar below but does not display on my photo. I've also used alt0169 but it still isn't visible on my images.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy mind has gone blank. I've done this before but I've forgotten how. I'm trying to make a copyright message using the copyright (C) symbol in Photoshop, I've opened a new document, and selected text. Is it in Wingdings somewhere? I want Inventor to add sketch symbols automaticly on cordinates according to a Custom Text Paramater
for example I have created Custom Multi Value Text User parameter Approved & Not Approved or Plate Work Notes & SteelWork Notes  wich each represent diffrent sketch symbols that needs to be placed out base on the value selected. Each sheet consist of diffrent sketch symbols
insert a sketch symbol to a specific coordinate on a dwg border (top middle of dwg)
Workflow needed is as follows
Â
Copy Sketched symbol folder from Standard.dwg from (C:UsersPublicDocumentsAutodeskInventor 2012Templates.Paste into open dwg document and yes to all to overide symbolsPlace a named sketched symbol from drawing resources folder ie (PRELIMINARY) to top center of all sheets within documentreturn to first sheet when complete My new dwg has symbols in correct place so any new dwgs this is ok but we need to add it to hundreds of dwgs when opened or revised,so i want to tie this to external rule and trigger on save event.
I have tried using the Alt + 0169 also tried Alt G. neither method works, the symbol does not appear.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm currently trying to automatically cycle through all the parts in a given assembly within a drawing and place a sketched symbol at the COG of each part using C# (Visual Studio Express 2010 with Inventor 2012). The main code snippet is as follows:
//'Sketch Symbols
SketchedSymbolDefinition symDef = oDoc.SketchedSymbolDefinitions[1];
int i = 1;
while (i <= oBOMRows.Count) {
BOMRow oRow1 = oBOMRows[i];
ComponentDefinition oCompDef = oRow1.ComponentDefinitions[1];
[Code] .....
I've tried several routes, but this is my basic approach. I feel like I am missing some GeometryIntent or something of that nature as the Sketched Symbols are showing up at the correct position but they are not associated with the given part (I've attached a screenshot of what is currently happening - the wipeouts you see should be displaying a property in them that is associated to the part). I also do not want the leader to be visible.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWe've got a sketched symbol that locates to the center of holes on a part.Problem is, the symbol either doesn't recognize the hole's center and even if it does, the center of the symbol (the designated insertion point) jumps to the edge of the hole.I've even recreated the symbol and I get the same effect.
View 9 Replies View RelatedGot a nested symbol. Rather simple one. Inside the symbol is a background rectangle and a text field. When I click a button, it should insert the HTML I give it from the click event.
Â
Now initially I did this by just using the text field by itself. No nesting. This is the code:
Â
 sym.$("copy").html("Edge Rocks!");
OK, success! The text loaded just fine.
Â
Now let's insert that text field inside of a symbol. And let's call that symbol 'content'.Now I try....
Â
 sym.$("content").$("copy").html("Some new text");
Â
Result? Nothing.
Â
Tried using stage instead of sym and even added a var stage = sym.getComposition().getStage() statement before that. Nope.
How do I add a copyright sign and name as a faint embossed watermark to images?
View 2 Replies View Related40+ years ago I bought a book from a dealer who sold antique Scottish books. It is A4 in size and has 400 B/W photographs of Scotland.
There is no date in the book but the pictures are late 19th century & early 20th century. There is a reference in it regarding the opening of a new railway line. That line was opened in 1908 and I'm guessing the book is circa 1910.
A few years ago I scanned into my computer several of the views. Like a lot of early photographs the skies are almost non existent. I took out the castles, bridges, etc and made up my own skies in KPT 6.
The finished results are A3 in size.
My question is - is the copyright still valid on the book or am I free to do whatever I want with them?
By the way the company who photographed and published the book is still in existence. Also I'm from Scotland but I'm curious as to how the book would stand regarding copyright throughout the world.
