I want to put a watermark along with a copyright symbol on some of the photos that I took ( the letter C inside of a circle). I have no problem getting a watermark on the photos, But I can't seem to find out how to find the symbol. At the present time I have Photoshop Elements 11 on my computer.
how to get a copyright symbol (c inside a circle) into a text frame in VS?
In the past (other programs) I have found it in wingdings, but exploring all the keyboard keys (upper and lower case) in each of the wingdings fonts in VS text mode has been fruitless.
I've downloaded some new watermarks to my computer (into word) and they will display in my watermark editor in Lightroom 4. However, when I use those downloaded type styles, the copyright symbol displays in the bar below but does not display on my photo. I've also used alt0169 but it still isn't visible on my images.
I have a copyright template made (using PS CS5) & when I download new images to my iMac it automatically adds this copyright data to each image downloaded.
I have a web page with many images on it I made prior to this. I wish to add my copyright metadata to those images. I have a folder on my desktop which contains all the image copies of what I uploaded to my website. Is there a way I can select all the images in the folder by opening in Bridge and adding the template to all selected at once?
If I could do that, then I would re-upload all the images to my website overwriting the old ones to up date with copyrighted images.
I'm trying to get photos (JPG files) I've edited in Photoshop and placed on an SD card to display on a Panasonic plasma television (TC-P42X1). The televison will only recognize JPG files with DCF or EXIF standards in tact. I'm assuming photos taken with a digital camera (unedited) already build in these stanards, as those photos view just fine. I'm also assuming that Photoshop strips the JPG file of these standards since the error I'm getting is "Cannot Read" with edited images. Â Of course Panasonic says, "It's an Adobe issue." Adobe would probably tell me "It's a Panasonic issue." Using Photoshop, I've opened an image, gone to File/File Info (given the photo a description), selected "OK" and saved the image as a JPG file (did not use the "Save for Web" path). This has gotten me a step closer. Now I can see a thumbnail image on the television when in menu view, but it still says, "Cannon Read" when trying to view the images with the slide show option. What is the trick is using Photoshop to correct this issue? I'm open to other options as well.
My mind has gone blank. I've done this before but I've forgotten how. I'm trying to make a copyright message using the copyright (C) symbol in Photoshop, I've opened a new document, and selected text. Is it in Wingdings somewhere? I'm going to put it on to a web site using Dreamweaver.
Since today I'm using "Lightroom 5.3 RC for Windows". When I export to jpg the Exif meta data contain a Exif tag "Software", the value is "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.0 (Windows)". Why doesn't this tag show the version number "5.3" (or "5.3 RC")?This behaviour has been at all prior Lightroom versions I know.
I'm trying to make a video where while the video is playing a series of dollar signs are added as if someone is typing. i'm able to do this with just adding a new title with one more dollar sign each title. What I'd like to do then is show the dollar signs being deleted and then a series of red hearts are typed in its place. I can't seem to figure out how to get hearts or any picture/object in a title.
40+ years ago I bought a book from a dealer who sold antique Scottish books. It is A4 in size and has 400 B/W photographs of Scotland.
There is no date in the book but the pictures are late 19th century & early 20th century. There is a reference in it regarding the opening of a new railway line. That line was opened in 1908 and I'm guessing the book is circa 1910.
A few years ago I scanned into my computer several of the views. Like a lot of early photographs the skies are almost non existent. I took out the castles, bridges, etc and made up my own skies in KPT 6.
The finished results are A3 in size.
My question is - is the copyright still valid on the book or am I free to do whatever I want with them?
By the way the company who photographed and published the book is still in existence. Also I'm from Scotland but I'm curious as to how the book would stand regarding copyright throughout the world.
The attached picture is me trying to balloon a part. I would like to just add some notes to the balloon so that I can update them manually but all I can find is to have a symbol. So I created a symbol, the insertion point for the symbol is shown. For some reason I get an extra number and the symbol offcenter. Why is this happening? What I'm really looking for is a balloon that is fully customizable so that I can just add text to the top and bottom and fill out the details.
Is there a way to edit the text in a symbol instance without breaking the link to the symbol? Â a really simplen example would be several instances of the same button graphic but with different labels. Â I know these things are possible in Fireworks, but couldn't find a way to make it happen in Illustrator.
Is there a way to "eval" or dynamically set a symbol name that has been parsed from XML to build a symbol path? For example, I'm trying to dynamically set a variable to the path of a sysmbol already on the stage, but it's not working correctly: Â var xmlSymName = $('symName', this).text(); // where symName = "sym4" from a parsed XML node var whatPOI = sym.getComposition().getStage().getSymbol("sym1").getSymbol("sym2").getSymbol("sym3").getSymbol(xmlSymName).getSymbolElement(); Â Basically I have a lot of points on a map and I'd like to be able to name the points along with other data like tooltip callouts, etc populated via XML then loop through the XML to build the points of interest on the map. If I can get the above working I can place that variable path reference into an array and grab the data from it later. But the path is not working the way I have it.
The scenario is this, I have a symbol(TitlePage) on my main timeline. Inside the symbol(TitlePage) there is a play button. How can i set a click event on this symbol that access the main timeline(stage) labels?
 I have the following  STAGE          SYMBOL_1               DIV_PLAY                    MOUSEUP(COMMAND)               DIV_STOP                    MOUSEUP (COMMAND) [Code]...
I would like to do the following:  play "SYMBOL_2" - "DIV_ANIMATION_1" - "ANIMATION_1_START" from within "SYMBOL1" - "DIV_PLAY" with the mouseup command  URL....I know that i can sym.getComposition().getStage().getSymbol("div_animation_1").play(); from within "div_play" but how do i access a point on the timeline and play from there...
I understand most of the idea about not taking other peoples work without asking, but am I able to put my name and logo on a picture I take, just cause I can, or is there a process I need to go through...My photo digital teacher saying that me being so young I have a chance to grow and I was thinking this could be a lil confedence boost, plus I am trying to get some stuff I make all bundled together to where I can jus print them out as needed and it would seem more professional to have a copyright.
