I'm trying to make a video where while the video is playing a series of dollar signs are added as if someone is typing. i'm able to do this with just adding a new title with one more dollar sign each title. What I'd like to do then is show the dollar signs being deleted and then a series of red hearts are typed in its place. I can't seem to figure out how to get hearts or any picture/object in a title.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using VS Pro X4 for quite some time. All of a sudden today, I was not able to "add a title" to a clip. It was working fine yesterday. Whenever I clicked "T" for "add a title to a clip", it switches from "Clip" to "Project" and although the "Double click here to add a title" was shown obviously nothing happened because it was in "Project" view.
After Brian told me that it always go from Clip to Project when clicking "T" or double clicking the Title track, that seems to be normal.. After using VS since VS 9, I have not noticed that before (if something works one usually does not notice anything...).
After re-installing VS Pro X4, per instructions in corel.force.com "How to remove X4 manually", and reinstall it, I am still not able to add text to the clip. Clicking "T" or double clicking the Title track still gave me the "Double click here to add title " notice in the preview window, but nothing happened upon double clicking the Preview window.
Out of curiosity I also ran VS X2 ,that is also in my computer, and with X2 the same problem exists --> no text can be added to a clip.
Back to VS Pro X4, however, I am able to drag a VS pre-set Title clip (Lorem Ipsum) to the Title track and then modify the text. So, if I could not get the problem solved of adding text directly to a clip, I have to add text the long way through the preset Lorem Ipsum clips.
I'm trying to add a title to the beginning of my video but when I drag my video clip down to the timeline I can't get it to start after the beginning title. How do I add deadspace to the video timeline so my title text shows at the beginning? I can't figure this out. It seems so simple. I just want text at the beginning and then after 10 seconds I want my home video to start.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI use titles a lot with VS x4 and have a couple of questions. I often use the backgrounds available in VS x4 under the titles to add style and make them more visible. I usually fade up to the title and fade back out again. However, when I do this, the title itself fades fairly smoothly but the background looks terrible. Is there any way to get titles and backgrounds to fade in/out together s-m-o-o-t-h-l-y?

Watch the background for "Just a Good Read"... as the title fades off at the end of this title sequence, the background doesn't fade -- it just sort of snaps off. I really like the background but want it to fade in/out smoothly with the title.
Another question about titles: Is there any way to group title elements together so that they become one object? I created a complex title with lots of little elements such as dashes. However, when I move any one element, the others don't move, and lining them up again is a pain. Can I associate these items to create a single object in which everything is moved (and for that matter, sized) together?
I have simple a 3D bottle shape created from about 16 points and I am trying to map a gif image on to it usning CS5. No matter what I have done (work from a new document, etc.) I always get the error message. I also receive this error when I attempt to map a jpg image on to the same shape. I have attempted this on three different Windows 7 machines running CS5 with the same result. When I try it with CS6 the program closes with a catastrophic error and no message. I do not receive this error using the default symbols. The gif and jpg images are imported and imbedded into the document and then moved to the symbols library.Â

I've tried two computers and always get the‚ preceeding the © in the photos Exif.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
I'm having issues with my text editor. I have just completed a multilayered composite image with a border and want to add a title on the background layer and can't get the type font to be anything other than very tiny...so I can't even see it.Â

I know of the regular way to accomplish this by adding the custom title block to the templates folder in the Inventor folder on my C drive but what I would like to do is somehow link the template to my Inventor templates folder while keeping it in it's current location so that others and myself have access to the latest version of it due to the fact that it is a working document and will be updated periodically.

Now my preference is to use a landscape orientation, but I can't get it to work yet.

How to manage adding titleblocks to sheets. On my last few projects I had x-ref'd in a titleblock which contained all of the generic info that was consistent throughout the whole sheet set. Then I created a block that I inserted into each sheet that I could edit and make sheet specific.
While this works, once you have insertion points correct, I was thinking about instead making the generic part of the titleblock a block also. My concern is that as I have revisions, the generic block that I would update would not "ripple" through the whole set quite like it did when I was x-refing it in.

Is there a way to display the projection (FL-W83) or Datum (NAD83) of a DWG file in the titleblock? Maybe using fields, or a diesel expression of some sort? I belive the information resides in the .NET framework, how can I get that into my titleblock?

I am about to recieve an order to provide drawings to a new client who has requested me to author an new blank drawing title block for the required drawings. The company does however have a Logo and other necessary details.
My question is: What format should the logo be in and how do I transfer this into the drawing title block, bearing in mind that I will most likely have to change the size to suite the various size drawings sheets, namely A0, A1, A2 etc?
I have attempted to search for this information on CT and having found the topic been denied request to open whatever. This is a copy of the notification receive when attempting to open a topic:

I can get pre-loaded symbols to map to the art-work, but the symbol I created doesn't appear when I try to map it. I'm not sure if the problem is how I created the original artwork/symbol?

To create this symbol you type the Letter M, change the font to our companys symbol text and the following characters then follow. However when editing the text it is recognized as a single character. I have changed the text to outlines, however it still changes every letter when I change the color. I have went into isolation mode and it still changes every color.
how to get a copyright symbol (c inside a circle) into a text frame in VS?
In the past (other programs) I have found it in wingdings, but exploring all the keyboard keys (upper and lower case) in each of the wingdings fonts in VS text mode has been fruitless.
What governs the location/distance from the object of the "object move symbol" when an item is selected? See attached image. I have selected the blue view reference text but the four way arrow/move symbol is way below it. This isn't using the move command. The arrows can be hard to find in a crowded sheet if it's very far from the item selected.

For reference I have added an image showing the location of the object move symbol for a text item. It's in the upper left corner of the text outline.
I made the background of an object (single color symbol) transparent, then re-sized it. I then added a transparent layer to another image, with the idea of placing the symbol onto that layer. I tried to move the symbol, but that didn't work. I copied the symbol image and tried to paste it onto the layer. It pasted, but all I got was a transparent rectangle that matched the size of the symbol image.

The object is called "bola", wich is inside the symbol "ponto" and the clicking object are the colored pencils (each pencil should change the color of the symbol's object, giving the impression you'd selecting a different pencil to draw).
I think it's simple to understand what I mean when you see the files.

I have been using video studio with no problems adding title tracks before the video clips. Now for some reason I can't make the video clips run after the title but the first one runs at the same time with the title overlayed. I guess I could shoot some black video to add as the first clip but it was working before.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe program comes with a nice selection of title appliqués. The problem arises when you try to use one of them. I am able to make a nice title using the appliqués as a starting point. After changing the text, I basically change the font and color. The new text takes but when I attempt to include that title on my time line, as soon as it starts to run it reverts back to the colors and fonts of the included app. If I attempt to save my changed title, it first reverts back to the original colors and fonts, then saves it. How in the world do I get one of those things to stick.
