Photoshop Elements :: Crop Symbol Is A Dot With Crosshairs On The Outside
Nov 12, 2013
I'm using PSE 11. When I select the Crop tool, the crop symbol is a dot with cross hairs on the outside. How do I change the crop symbol to the traditional crop symbol?
How to turn of the "lock symbol" from showing when you run your crosshairs (outside of a command) over a locked layer. Its annoying and i would like to turn it off.
Also, when offsetting a line, is there a way to turn off the imaginary offset line that indicates the offset side, again its annoying and i'd like to turn it off.
My tools suddenly stopped displaying the relevant symbol (circle for the brush, etc.) whenever I move it to cover the photo I want to manipulate. Photoshop 8 used to do the same thing.
In PSE 9 when I "sometimes" save a picture, I get a broken picture symbol. I have gone to file/reconnect and this does not work. I can't figure out what I'm doing different when this happens, as it only happens now and then.
I want to put a watermark along with a copyright symbol on some of the photos that I took ( the letter C inside of a circle). I have no problem getting a watermark on the photos, But I can't seem to find out how to find the symbol. At the present time I have Photoshop Elements 11 on my computer.
I have a client who is an artist and she needs some image editing software but does not have the funds for Photoshop. She can purchase elements 10 quite cheaply but the most handy tool for her will be the perspective function in crop but I am not sure whether it is a feature of elements 10.
I use PE 7.0. Recently I am unable to crop photos when editing. The photo disappears, and I get a screen that asks me to reset. When I do that, I have lost all the other things I did in editing.
I have been using elemnts 10 for some months now, about two weeks ago the croped image would disapear. Today I have just deleted the programme and reinstalled it and the first thing was to test it so opened an image and used the crop tool and again it just disapears, the inter phase screen just goes blank. All other funtions seem to be ok, I run win XP I thought that the reinstall would cure but no how can this be is it a fault with the programme? I have been using Elements since version 4, this is the first time I have had such a problem.
My Photoshop Elements 9.0.3 will not crop photos as it did in the past. When I use the crop tool, the photo is changed to the size of a dot and is unrecognizable.
Picasa's Recrop feature restores the marquee from before you click Commit on a crop, which allows me to adjust or tweak the marquee. Is there an equivalent command in Photoshop Elements? It's a BIG time saver.
Recently my cursurs have turned to crosshairs. I have deleted my preferences, I have set cursurs to full size brush tip, yet when I use the crop or marquis tool. all I get is the crosshars.
I need to crop a photo with a circular shape. At the end of the day the picture has to be circular. How do I do that? At the course I learned how to crop with or without proportions, but I want to crop with different shapes...
