May 22, 2012I have to represent a road section with limits of houses or any interference on field. All of thees interferences are poly lines, 3dpoly, lines, etc. Is it possible to have a little mark or something like this in a road section, it will work for me a lot for represent the houses in my sections.

Mar 15, 2013There is a line (and two big dots) representing EVERY Assembly insert. And I've been trying to figure out how to hide them.
May be they were there because of some link/point code. But I was unable to find and thing.
In the attached screen shot (taken from a print preview), I've circled one of these dots and pointed at one of the lines. I need to get rid of these.

Mar 1, 2013The attached picture is me trying to balloon a part. I would like to just add some notes to the balloon so that I can update them manually but all I can find is to have a symbol. So I created a symbol, the insertion point for the symbol is shown. For some reason I get an extra number and the symbol offcenter. Why is this happening? What I'm really looking for is a balloon that is fully customizable so that I can just add text to the top and bottom and fill out the details.

Basically I have a lot of points on a map and I'd like to be able to name the points along with other data like tooltip callouts, etc populated via XML then loop through the XML to build the points of interest on the map. If I can get the above working I can place that variable path reference into an array and grab the data from it later. But the path is not working the way I have it.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Replacing Lines Representing Ditches Into Actual Ditches
Oct 22, 2012I am trying to model the hydrology of a construction site using AutoCAD drawings. Â All of the lines have elevation data which I can use to create a DEM of the site and model the waterflow. Â All of the lines except for the lines representing ditches. Â The ditches are labeled as having elevations of zero feet and are not really ditches at all... just lines.
Naturally this screws up the model quite a bit. Â I am hoping to replace the lines with ditches that have defined elevations, cross-sections and slopes, but I don't know how to go about doing that. Â
