Mar 1, 2012When I take a photo with my iPhone 4S, which has an 8mp camera, and open it in Photoshop, the resolution is set a 72ppi. How do I get the photo into Photoshop at a resolution which will allow me to print it?

Aug 28, 2013I connect my iPhone to my PC and open Photoshop Elements 11 Organizer. I click Import and select my iPhone (using current iOS version). It searches and finds all photos. I click get media and I get the following error: "Elements cannot obtain files from this device. ensure that the device is connected properly, or that the battery is charged, and try again."
I click Ok and the import fails.
In the attached screen shot you can see the import process about to begin, but the error box pop up over top.

May 12, 2013Photoshop Elements 8 (version 8.0). This is first time I tried to use photo downloader from Adobe Bridge (CS4 3.0.0.464) with my iphone 4s. It crashes every time. Have been to preferences and deleted adobe.downloader.plist. Still crashes.

Aug 20, 2011I am currently experiencing problems trying to import iPhone 4 video into After Effects CS5.
Firstly i'd like to note that the video plays perfectly fine on the iPhone, VLC and in Quicktime Player. The audio and video is in sync.
When I add the footage to After Effects the video becomes slightly out of sync with the audio. I have noticed this in RAM preview and also in renders I did just to test.
I also want to note that, both my iPhone and After Effects have latest software updates.

Jan 8, 2014I am unable to import pictures from an iPhone into a fresh install of Elements Organizer 12 which was installed on a brand new installation of Maverics on our iMac. I receive a nasty looking error. Are there any known issues? I would think there would have to be known issues as both my Organizer installation and Mavericks version is freshly installed.

Mar 26, 2014I recently imported the camera roll (not the photostream) off my iPhone 5 into Lightroom. The filename appears as the number of the image (eg. IMG 6438); I want to import photos also taken with the same iPhone that had been uploaded to my MAC desktop (because they include photos not currently on the camera roll) but they have assumed a different filename (eg. 2013-06-27 14.40.16.jpg). I have checked off "Do not import duplicates" (and am not renaming upon import) but LR is not recognizing them (the identical photo) as such and weeding out the ones I actually don't have in my library is becoming increasingly problematic..

I've tried going in to the photoshop file and taking off a little bit, but it still gives me the same outcome. I've also tried exporting as a GIF, and a PNG-8 with a matte. itunes does not recongize all the sub folders so I would have to download the whole catalog into my iphone.
Prefer this method would be to make up an iphone album in the organizer and just have these photos downloaded to my phone.
Even if I did this system, however, the mac version of photoshop elements does not let you export photos to create a folder in my system for itunes to syn with.
Photoshop :: Adaptive Wide Angle Filter Error For IPhone 4S In CC?
Oct 16, 2013I open an iPhone pano image. go to filter–>adaptive wide angle filter and in the lower left corner I find – as indicated as being requested to function properly the tut – the name of the camera, the lens and the f-stop with wich the image was taken. The filter does still not draw the automatic line on the corved part of the building I try to improve. Going to correction –> automatic in the upper right corner I get an error message that no matching profile for the iPhone's camera's lens could be found.
Why that when it is clerly indicated as being 4.28 mm etc already? The iPhone 4S has been here for quite a while and is widely used, so why the error?

Nov 24, 2012I just upgraded from Photoshop Elements 6 to Elements 11 on a brand new iMac running OS X 10.8.2, but Elements 11 will not recognize my Epson Perfection 4990 PHOTO Scanner as an option to import from when I click on "File" then "Import." Is there a Plug-In that may be missing for this to operate as it used to in Elements 6 running on an older G5 Non-Intel processor? I don't have the new Elements 11 Disk to copy anything from, since I downloaded the program directly from Adobe.
