Aug 28, 2013I connect my iPhone to my PC and open Photoshop Elements 11 Organizer. I click Import and select my iPhone (using current iOS version). It searches and finds all photos. I click get media and I get the following error: "Elements cannot obtain files from this device. ensure that the device is connected properly, or that the battery is charged, and try again."
I click Ok and the import fails.
In the attached screen shot you can see the import process about to begin, but the error box pop up over top.

Apr 21, 2013I have been using Elements 8.0 for some years and it still uploads pictures from my regular camera Sony Cyrbershot. It used to upload from iPhone 4s OK but has not done so for a week. The pictures can be seen in File Explorer and iTunes syncs fine with the iPhone but iPhone is not detecetd at "Get photos from". Clicking refresh does not work.

Oct 11, 2012I use photoshop elements 10 with the organizer as my photo catalog. I have deleted my photos off my iphone. I want to get a selet few of the photographs back onto my phone. I thought the easiest way would be to use iphoto with itunes. I don't want to email myself each individual photograph back to myself. My filing system is as following tree
Pictures/photoshop/Each year I have take photographs/Month I have taken photographs/
itunes does not recongize all the sub folders so I would have to download the whole catalog into my iphone.
Prefer this method would be to make up an iphone album in the organizer and just have these photos downloaded to my phone.
Even if I did this system, however, the mac version of photoshop elements does not let you export photos to create a folder in my system for itunes to syn with.

May 12, 2013Photoshop Elements 8 (version 8.0). This is first time I tried to use photo downloader from Adobe Bridge (CS4 3.0.0.464) with my iphone 4s. It crashes every time. Have been to preferences and deleted adobe.downloader.plist. Still crashes.

I receive a nasty looking error. Are there any known issues? I would think there would have to be known issues as both my Organizer installation and Mavericks version is freshly installed.

Oct 16, 2013I open an iPhone pano image. go to filter–>adaptive wide angle filter and in the lower left corner I find – as indicated as being requested to function properly the tut – the name of the camera, the lens and the f-stop with wich the image was taken. The filter does still not draw the automatic line on the corved part of the building I try to improve. Going to correction –> automatic in the upper right corner I get an error message that no matching profile for the iPhone's camera's lens could be found.
Why that when it is clerly indicated as being 4.28 mm etc already? The iPhone 4S has been here for quite a while and is widely used, so why the error?

Nov 5, 2013When I try to launch PE 11 when the net is down an activating component comes up and it will not let me add media or do any thing to my project. It says that I need to go to the adobe site and paste in the code. This was done with the software was installed and works fine when the net is up and running, but when the net is down it acts as if these step was never done.

Jan 14, 2013I am currently trialling PSE 11. I would prefer to keep iPhoto as my organiser while using PSE 11 as my editor. However, it appears that I have to create a separate PSE library meaning that the edits made in PSE will not be reflected in the iPhoto library.
Other than manually importing and exporting photos between the libraries is there a way round this?

Jan 5, 2014I've used PSE 10 for some time, but only backup about twice a year (full backups to both external drive and dvds stored offsite). It won't let me backup to my K drive (external), doesn't even start before stating that it has encountered an error writing the file. The external drive works fine; just backed up using Windows BU. I've repaired, optimized, and reconnected files to no avail.

Aug 21, 2011I just upgraded to x4 from x2. Using x4, if I render to the iphone h.264 640x480 template, rendering seems to complete normally, progress bar goes to 100%, but after that no file is created and no file plays (if autoplay is checked).
I experimented with making a custom h.264 template, and found that this always happens if audio is aac 48000. If I change to 44100, everything works.
But I'd like to be able to use 48000.
Lightroom :: Can't Sync From IPhone
Oct 3, 2012 i've been able to import photos directly from my iphone by plugging my phone into the USB/iPhone cable (and then into my mac) and then doing "Import Photos from Device" and my iPhone would appear with the standard grid of photos. Ive imported a thousand photos or so from my phone that way.
when i plugged my phone in and tried to import my photos, in LR 4.1 (not 4.2), many of the new photos said "no preview available". I thought that was odd, so i thought i'd disconnect and then reconnect the phone.
At that point, the import screen says "no photos found".The photos are still available on the phone itself, but not in LR. I rebooted and upgraded to LR4.2, but still i'm getting the same thing.
