I want to purchase Photoshop Elements 11 for my mom for Christmas. She primarily works from an iPad. So, I'm wondering whether it is possible to use a mac version of Photoshop Elements 11 from an iPad?

View 1 Replies View Related I bought one of the new iPad 3’s (AKA The New iPad) and can’t get the latest version of iTunes to sync JPG’s with Windows 7 64 bit.
I have cleared the iTunes cache and reinstalled iTunes but nothing is working. To test it I transferred the same library to a Mac and it synced with the new iPad with no problems. After much trouble shooting I have narrowed it down to iTunes on Windows 7 64 bit is not working. I have tried this on a couple of different PC’s and also have an iPad 1 and 2. The iPad 2 sort of works but the 3 is terrible. Apple really hates Microsoft and makes no effort to develop for it or conduct quality control.
After escalating this with Apple Care I got to meet the engineer who works on this. After some research he admitted that iTunes does not work with JPG’s larger than 9K pixels per side. This upset me so I made an appointment with the Apple Genius Bar to complain. The option they gave me was to return my old iPad 1 and 2 for 100% cash refund on an Apple gift card.
Various tests both by me and Apple Mac technical department indicate that PSE12 is not compatible with the ipad. Is there a setting that should be activated, If so, which and what are the steps to deal with this problem? I have not had this problem with photos edited in earlier versions of PSE
Photos edited in PSE12 and sent as jpegs to the ipad cannot be opened. Photos not edited in PSE12 can be opened. This needs fixing.
I recently upgraded to Elements 11, and my iPad to OS7. I tried to synch new albums via iTunes and it did not work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am exporting animated gifts out of Photoshop and wondering why there is a discrepancy in the display speed of the animated gifts when viewing on an i pad compared to on the desktop.
Specifically the i pad displays the gift quite a bit slower than in the desktop. so something that views on the desktop in normal speed is slower than desired on the ipad and something at the desired speed on the i pad is super fast on the desktop.
When I try to launch PE 11 when the net is down an activating component comes up and it will not let me add media or do any thing to my project. It says that I need to go to the adobe site and paste in the code. This was done with the software was installed and works fine when the net is up and running, but when the net is down it acts as if these step was never done.

The install from the disk appears to be successful, but I don't get the window to enter the serial number. When I click on the icon, nothing happens. Uninstall and reinstall results in same situation. I have Windows Vista 2007. Adobe gave it a case #184059543, but will not support it due to it being an "old" program.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am currently trialling PSE 11. I would prefer to keep iPhoto as my organiser while using PSE 11 as my editor. However, it appears that I have to create a separate PSE library meaning that the edits made in PSE will not be reflected in the iPhoto library.
Other than manually importing and exporting photos between the libraries is there a way round this?
I've used PSE 10 for some time, but only backup about twice a year (full backups to both external drive and dvds stored offsite). It won't let me backup to my K drive (external), doesn't even start before stating that it has encountered an error writing the file. The external drive works fine; just backed up using Windows BU. I've repaired, optimized, and reconnected files to no avail.

I don't know how to select the 2 images I want to compare, and I don't know how to get back to displaying just 1 image.I hit Window > Images, but there's no option to do anything with the tiled images.I opened the Photo Bin, right clicked on different thumbnails, but "Minimize" wasn't available.I ended up writing down all my open images and closing the program.It would be nice to be able to select what images are to appear simultaneously on the screen, or at least get back to having a single image.As it is, I don't see the use of Window > Images > Tile unless you just want to look at a cluttered screen before closing the program.
