Dec 10, 2012How do I change the cursor shape? I cannot change it from the cross hairs to the round tip. I have tried the settings under preferences but it does no good.

Photoshop :: Cursor Changes To X Shape At Certain Sizes
Jul 18, 2013I currently am running Photoshop CS6 on Windows 7. When I am using the Brush or Pencil tools, sometimes the Cursor will change to a curved X shape. This appears to happen at certain sizes (between 65px to250px) and then goes back to the normal circle shape when larger or smaller. The brush itself paints normally but there are times where I need to know exactly what areas it is going to color. I am using the default brushes, no custom ones.

Oct 10, 2013I just purchased a new iMac and have been using Illustrator (CS5) for some graphic design work. However, it's driving me CRAZY because the type and shape cursors are a super small and a light gray in color. It's very difficult for me to track the cursor with my eyes when it is small and gray on a gray and white artboard. Is there some way to make the cursors more easily visible? As far as I can tell, this is only an issue in Illustrator.

Jan 9, 2014I'm running Autocad 2013 Civil 3d, when I open a particular drawing the cursor turns to a circular shape as if it is downloading something, but it is actually not loading anything. This circular cursor does not let you do anything with the drawing, you just have to keep hitting esc until it gives you a fatal error message that says "FATAL ERROR: Cannot write to undo file (probably disk full)" and it kicks you out of autcad. How to get rid of this ciruclar cursor?

Aug 26, 2007For some reason, sometimes when working in Photoshop CS2 (PC platform) my paintbrush cursor changes. I have it set in preferences to show the brush size and it usually stays that way, but occassionally, it reverts to precise mode so I cannot see the brush size on the screen. The only thing that seems to work is closing PS and restarting it. What a pain.

Once I roll over the picture the arrow is lost and becomes a strange 3 small things, so can't do any work accurately. Still using PS 7 in Win 7. This was not a problem previously. The cursor will change to the rainbow loading symbol, and I can't click on anything else on the computer. After it is finished loading a few minutes later, everything else on the computer is slowed down. What can I do to make the program run faster, and stop it from freezing? Is it the program or the computer? Does the computer need more speed to be able to run the program?

Oct 1, 2012I’m getting a strange cursor when I use the Paint Bucket tool. Instead of the bucket with the pointy bit to show where you’re aiming, I get three tiny paint buckets in a horizontal line, looking a bit like a fragmented ruler, so it is impossible to see where the point of the paint bucket is. I have used CAPS LOCK to get the crosshairs but would refer the normal setting to be available too.
I have shut down the PC and restarted with PS9 as the only app open but I still get this funny cursor. Some of the cursors from other tools are also affected, esp. when I left-click.Have I changed a setting by accident?

I have look at all of the system options and nothing seems to affect it so I have to assume it is something wrong with Photoshop CS 6.

Photoshop :: How To Change Width Of Shape Lines
Nov 25, 2012I created a pattern in Photoshop CS6 for a project with shape lines which reside on shape layers. I want to change the line weight but after I create them it seems there is no way of changing the shape; even after I select line.
I can change the spread (uniform distribution) of the lines and lengh but not their weight. No matter if I choose all or just one of the lines which are all on the same shape layer the weight does not change. This does not make sense. [URL]....
