View 9 RepliesI've got a 30 second piece of video in which a logo on a wall needs to be erased. I used the patch tool and it did a wonderful job, but only on the first frame of the clip.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've just created a map with various county boundaries. I now need to fill in the counties with various shades of gray, with no two neighboring counties sharing the same shade. I've been going about it in a sort of trial and error fashion, but I can't ever seem to get it right. Is there a way that Photoshop could possibly fill it in for me? Sort of an auto-swatch application thing?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was using these tool on a lot of images, because they often seemed to vastly improve them, making the colors pop on otherwise somewhat dull ones, and getting rid of unwanted color casts..
Later though I noticed that it is often at the cost of burning out hightlights in some areas beyond salvation.I also find shadow /highlight sometimes does this also.
Then I tried to protect some small areas with a mask before proceeding, but it seems that I can't find information on just painting a mask, but only videos with much more complex adjustment such as the Russel Crow or Lynda ones with maintaing hair detail while superimposing images, which is way beyond what I need in these cases.
If I try the wand to select and inverse I get unnatural looking divisions. Is it a matter of feathering to the right extent?
In camera raw, "apply auto tone adjustments" option in the preferences dialog is not same with the "auto" button on the basic panel, isn't it? Both of them control the same sliders, are there any relationship between them?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a pencil animation that I did a while back that is a .mov file. The animation itself is too light and you can hardly see it. I opened the file in Photoshop and opened the animation tab.
I tried to convert it to frame animation so that I could unify all of the frames and edit just one using the brightness / contrast adjustment. Nothing works. It keeps on just editing one frame at a time.
I imported tiff images into Lightroom 4 that were scanned by DigMyPics.com. The color of the images look good on the Windows 7 photo viewer. It looks horrible in Lightroom 4. My monitor is callibrated, the import develop setting is set to "none" , the box is unchecked "apply auto tone adjustments".I think that the windows viewer is showing the accurate color of the scan and LR is not. I don't think DigMyPics would send this awful color.
View 10 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to apply a color to selected objects without having to search for the color in the color palette. So say if I am working with an image that has multiple colors but want to use only one of the colors in that image, is there a way to apply it without having to create or add it to the palette.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've got a weird problem with several (not all) objects in my scene. No matter if Max 2012 or 2013. It's impossible to apply any transform as soon as the auto key button is pressed. The objects are totally locked. With auto key button inactive, transformations are possible. Key filters are active.
The only workaround so far is to group those objects or link them to a dummy or detach all elements into a new object and delete the original one. Any newly created objects can be animated either.
I'm trying to import images shot on a Canon 650d using two different lenses, the (according to EXIF displayed by LR) "EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II" (kit) lens and an "EF-S55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II". Both lenses and the camera should be newly supported with this RC.
When I go to develop module and tick "activate lens corrections" (translating, I'm using the German version) nothing happens. No corrections are applied. I need to additionally change "Manufacturer" from "none" to "Canon", then the right lens is automatically found and the settings are applied.
However, if I save this as an import-standard (press Alt+"set standard"), just this lens is remembered: All imported images get corrected using the last selected lens profile. So if I manually correct an image taken on the 18-55mm lens and save this as default, at the next import all images, including those taken on the 55-250mm lens, get corrected using the 18-55mm profile (at least, that's what LR is showing me.)
It was my understanding that the import preset should be specific not only to the camera, but also to the lens the respective image was shot with.
I'm about 3 months and many hours of tutorials into Premiere ProCC, Audition CC, and Encore CS6. Apparently the nifty dynamic links from PPro and Audition CS6 no longer work with encore, as encore was not upgraded to CC. So,
I want to sample color from an original Photoshop image, and create an Encore menu color set, so that my menu buttons, etc. are colored to match the main photo image in the menu. Is there an eyedropper kind of tool in Encore that would let me sample the color from the image, and then apply that to color swatches in the Encore button layers?
I recently had some problems with auto-save. I was working on a project when my computer stoped working and I had to force shutting down. However, my Premiere CC is set to auto-save every 15 minutes. When I went to see the auto-save files I didn't find my entire work. I had several sequences previously the one I was left with. What had happen?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to follow this tutorial ...
[URL].........
Under #2 ... I am assuming the author means to draw with the Rounded Rectangle in Path mode ... am I assuming correct? I think it is suppose to be set to Path b/c it's the only way the Blend Mode reads "Pass Through"
this tuts steps aren't really numbered well but also under step two where the "BG" is filled with black the resulting shape is suppose to look like this :
But mine looks like this :
Notice how the left side has a lighter grey color and the one from the tut above is clear?
Also under step #2 ... where it comes to the part where I am to color the resulting shape with a yellow gradient this is what happens to me :
the entire canvas becomes colored ... ? Here are my Layers.
I select the "BG" layer to apply the gradient.
Here is the Layers panel from the tut which is confusing to me b/c the only difference I see is that the tuts panel has the down arrow and folder of the top layer/the "Body" layer seems to be greyed out... and the tut says something like : Activate the "BG" layer and cancel the mask view. Well, how to go about canceling the mask view and I looked all over Ps for such an "action" and also throughout the online manual.
I don't mean use a video as a texture on say a square. I mean how like in this video, the texture is applied on the collapsing parts.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am wondering if there is an easy method to apply a video filter to EVERY video clip in a project instead of having to apply it manually to every clip.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhat are the steps to apply filters to all my video clips in Corel Videostudio? I am able to drop each each filter to each of the clip. But when I try - Select all clips - Drop a filter to the selections, it does not work as expected. Instead the filter gets applied only to one clip.
Is there any other way to achieve what I am doing - Automatically fix exposure and colour levels to all clips?
I just came over from Sony Vegas Pro 9 (which kicks ***, but has bad native support for DSLR files).
In Vegas you can apply effects to video in three ways:
1. A whole clip in the project media bin (automatically applying such effects to all timeline events using this clip).
2. Individual timeline events.
3. Entire video tracks (automatically applying such effects to every clip on the track).
Is this possible in Premiere CS5? I find it hard to believe that it's not possible since it is such a useful thing to do. For example, what if you have a bunch of footage that you want to look grainy but you don't want to apply the same effect to every timeline event from the clips because it is time consuming and creates many sources of change if you want to tweak the effect settings?
I have a damask flourish design in JPEG format. I want to change the entire color of the design from green to pink. How can I do that? I have an older version of Photoshop Elements 6.0 on my Windows XP machine, but can upgrade to 11 on my Macbook Pro.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWorking on the trial x5 and have a random problem. Imported videos, 1280x720, randomly display a stutter in the audio track when playing in project mode. Play fine in clip mode. Play fine before import. Video plays fine. Also weirdly, if I stop and restart the video at the point of stutter, the stutter goes away. By random, I mean 4 out of 5 videos imported in the same format work fine and the place the stutter start seems random between clips that display the problem.
I am using the default settings of the download trial, though I have messed with the proxy, edit format, and other settings to no avail. I have installed the recent service pack.
System: Toshiba Laptop, Windows 7 Home Premium, dual core pentium 2.0 Hz, 3 gig installed memory.
Vidoes are captured with an android phone and properties are H,264, 24 bit, 1280 x720, MPG4, Interestingly the frame rate seems to vary between 19 and 26 fps., Audio is 44100Hz 16 bit stereo 96Kbps bitrate.
I've use x2 on a multimedia tower no problem but I've gone mobile. This problem makes the software almost unusable for me. Three or four out of five imports with same parameters (except the variable frame rate) work fine.
I have a shade in a photo I want to duplicate in another. One post I found somewhere said to use the Info Window, hold mouse over spot you want to duplicate, and get the RGB numbers. Then Use the Channel Mixer and apply the numbers.
Problem is, the RGB colors from the Info Window are not presented in percentage of RGB, whereas the Channel Mixer uses percentages.
So, for example, my RGB may be 239/123/57. I can't figure out how to apply that. I tried dividing it to get a %. IN the above example, I would divide 239 by 255, and use that as the % for red. But that doesn't come close.
When I print a single 4x5 image on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper, the entire sheet, less the eighth inch margins, receives an almost invisible layer of color. Where is the dialog box generating the instruction to print this background and how do I disable it? Both Elements 3 and 6 used on the same printer, an Epson 2200, would simply print the image.
View 3 Replies View RelatedKelby's book shows how to edit a video in Develop by Capturing a Frame, then opening the Frame in Develop mode, selecting the video, and turning on Auto-Sync so that changes to the photo will also change the video. Not all edits are possible. I was hoping that cropping with the Rectangle tool would work, so I gave it a try. No luck. Indeed, LR5 tossed up an debugger-style error message.
An internal error has occurred. ?.0: attempt to perform arithmetic on a nil value.
how to apply UCR (Under Color Removal) to my Photoshop file? I will then be importing to a page make up program and making a print PDF for Newsprint?
