I'm designing a tattoo, and I've been driven to distraction trying to get a part of it right. Basically, it's in an elongated circular shape, to go over the top of the shoulder. It's a Tongan design, and part of it requires a line of diamond shapes following the curve of each side of the circle from top to bottom. At the moment, I'm just copying a diamond shape and putting it in, and then using Transform>Distort to wedge it in place. However, it's both slow and not too good. I then had what I thought was a brainwave - draw the parallel lines straight, add the diamonds, and then curve the whole thing into place. I've tried doing this using Transform>Warp, but the amount of swearing emanating from my office is annoying my girlfriend Has everyone got a better way of doing it? I'd really like to be able to almost draw it as a path, just putting anchors in, and then having the pattern follow the path.
I have ran an analysis and SSA gave me Error 607  on the report. It says "Inlet A9 gutter capture curve is not a valid curve."
A couple things I did different from the video lectures...
IÂ selected user define for the Tc to figure out Q. i computed those manually.
For the Inlets I have selected Maximum Capture Cutoff.
There are some inlets in this model I created that do not capture 100% of the flow so i created conveyance links to account for the bypass flow.Not sure why is not recognizing the Curve?
Why in LR4 is the Tone Curve default set to Custom with a contrast lowering curve? I would like the default to be linear, but I can't remember how I set that up in LR3.
Can I create A B-Spline curve and a NURBS curve in the Adobe Illustrator? Â If yes, how to do it? Â Also, how to create a breakpoint, that will add a new control point, on a curve, in Adobe Illustrator?
I have been disappointed by the "enhancements" in the auto curve feature in CS6. While it supposedly simplifies adjustments wtih a single curve, I find it doesn't work as well as the functionality in CS5. Â In CS5, it would adjust each channel individually. While that made it difficult to edit, the quality of the color corrections especially was superior. It was great for establishing a baseline correction and then adding other minor adjustments, as needed. Â I have beautiful photos that I edited in CS5 using this feature. Now when I open them in CS6, the auto feature doesn't provide the same results with the same photos. Â Is there any way to get the same type of curv auto adjustments from CS5 in CS6?
how to curve text so that it looks like the one in the bottom of this picture? Â i want to remake this image but i cannot figure out how to make the same curve of the words: MEDICAL ASSOCIATION. Â i have tried creating a Path with half of a similar oval and then used the Type on a Path tool and i have tried using the Pen to draw a Path but it looks aweful and of course i hae tried the Warped Text tool but the only option for what i need is the Arc Lower which doesn't give the result i need no matter how i adjust the tool.
for one particular design, I've been trying to make a curve like this as a background for some white text: but, as you can see, the end result (bottom curve only) is rather pixely, I know this is from the angle of the curved space being so close to flat that a lot of pixels are stretched out over the neighbouring ones. Is there a good technique that I can use to avoid the pixelish look?
I need to take a scanned rectangular image and make it into an arc, curving the bottom and top up. (I can create a path in the shape I want by simply creating a rectangle, creating a node in the middle of the bottom and top edges, and moving these nodes both up, but this doesn't get me anywhere). I can't figure out how to stretch the rectangular image into a specified shape to arc it.
i tried drawing a smooth curve and i completely forgot how to do it. i used the pen tool to draw a line and it keeps filling it with color. if anyone can guide me on how to drave a simple curved line with a single color.
ONce upon a time you could move your cursor over the image and it would show on the curves curve what that value was of the point your cursor was over.  Hope that makes sense. This was very useful for deciding exactly where on the curve you needed to make adjustments to affect a particular tone.  Its gorrrn, like a caribu. OR can I just not find it?
I have a layer of a music staff with wavy lines. I want to create a new text layer to go on the staff and curve exactly to the lines in the staff. I've tried curve, warp, distort...all of those, but I can't get it perfect. Is there any way to curve a layer exactly to another layer?
i have cs6 64bit installed well may i ask some question about photoshop cc? Â 1) what i miss about photoshop CS5 , is the curve adjustament layer , i loved used the eyedropper + ctrl to add points in the curve is there in cc the possibility to add point in the curve like cs5?or can i set auto select target adjustament tool for curve palete only?

I'm making a stylized picture composed wholly of curved lines. I free-handed the curves with my pointer tablet, and then I've been going in with the paintbrush thickening the lines and smoothing edges and whatnot (my tablet makes exceedingly wiggly lines for some reason)... It takes FOREVER going in and trying to make a perfectly smooth line using a 3px brush... (The original image is 3000 x 3450. Great learning experience, but my eyes feel like they're about to fall out of my skull after tracing, re-tracing, and re-re-tracing a 30-pixel area for an hour, lol.) I'm convinced that with the amazing images that come out of Photoshop, they must have a tool that makes creating curves a simple, easy process.
I'm doing the art work for a large vinyl banner 2ft x 6ft and one of the requirements states - Please transfer all fonts to curve, which I beleive is the same as outline?
I have an image that isn't evenly lit. The left side is darker than the right. I want to apply a curve to the image affecting one side more than the other. I've been trying to do this with adjustment layers but have had no success.

I am using Photoshop CS6. I created a curve path and a "new" layer that contains the brush stroke applied to the path. I want the brush stroke to dynamically update when the path is modified.
Is there a way to draw a dash line that follows the curve in Photoshop (See image)? I know how to make a dotted line, but not a dash line, in photoshop.
i love the ctrl+click in the curve dialog in photoshop cs6 is missing  is there a shortcut to enable it or enable/disable targeted adjustament tool ?   windows 7 64bit , cs6 64bit last updates
