View 5 Replieswhat is the command in AutoCAD 2013 for exporting drawings as DWFx files so that clients who do not have AutoCAD can open or plot a DWFx file using a current version of Internet Explorer or Safari for Apple as an alternative browser.
View 2 Replies View RelatedDoes the exported dwg file always have to be a zip file? I have tried save as a dwg file but it seems to be an Invnetor dwg which has the geometry as a block when opened with AutoCAD. It is a little easier to explode the block in AutoCAD rather than open and extract the zip file, save the extracted dwg then delete the zip file.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI took a .psd file (made by my coworker) and redesigned it. The problem is: he organized his layers so badly...made unnecessary clones. The design is a landing page for a website, now I want to send it to my web developer but he's a linux guy.
So on gimp he can't work on my .psd so well because of color formats. He asked me to cut all the images and turn them to .png. Hence I needed to run File> Script > Export Layers to files once that done I got too many similar .png as you can see (consequences of bad layers organization?)
Do I need to delete unwanted/similar images to make my web dev work easier? Last thing I saw that -in the export layers to files panel properties- transparency and trim boxes was checked and I set it to PNG24.
When exporting files to layers is there a way to get rid of the prefix (_0000_ , _0001_ , _0002_ ...etc.) after exporting?? I obtained a script from someone on this site before for PS7 which did not do that.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe 'Export layers to files' script is extremely helpful to me. I would like to be able to add a logo to each layer before it is saved which I cannot figure out how to do. The script saves the layer as is so an adjustment layer type solution does not work. I took a look at the javascript and I don't know enough to start calling other .psd's merging and closing them in the middle of the script.
I get what I need to do by loading up the saved jpg's after running the script and running an action on them to add the logo and resave, but this is a bit of a pain when there can be a hundred plus layers.
I am trying to Export Layer comps to file to make a pdf of a 38 page document. When try to export to jpg or png the files are too small, even on the highest setting.
When I try to export to tiff or psd, it doesn't flatten the files and gives me files just as large as the master file.
When I try to export to pdf it creates very large files, that do not seem high quality.
Are there any more options or perhaps an additional script for exporting layer comps to files?
I am using CS6. When exporting layers to files in Scripts, I get an error message Error 519: Server Interface error. 'No component returned from CreateWidget'
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded from Elements 9 to 11. I had no issues exporting from iphoto to 9, worked a treat. I have configured everything exactly the same, checked and double checked all the preferences and it will not work automatically. I can manually export to my desk to and it works fine, the raw file shows up in the bridging application and I can do whatever I need to. However, this is a bit long winded and as it worked so well before it is a little frustrating..
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've got a short animation that I'd like to export, mainly because it's faster to use the tween function than manually adjusting my picture and saving every frame manually. Anyway, it doesn't look like Photoshop allows you to save animations in the Targa format and keep the alpha layer that I need in each individual frame. How I might go about either exporting the animation and keeping the alpha layer, or finding some way to work around this without having to manually copy the alpha layer to each individual frame by hand after I export it?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI created 3D text in Photoshop CS6 and exported the mesh as an obj. I was able to import the obj file directly into 3DS Max 2013, but could not import it into Maya 2013 and 2014, because both versions cited incorrect data. Is this a bug or user error? Obvious workaround is to use Max to re-export, but would prefer to have it work directly in Maya.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis problem only occurs with files that I have been imported from cd's/dvd's into the libraryand I get the msg "Lightroom was unable to prepare the selected file for editing. It will not be opened." Files that are stored on my hard drive have NO PROBLEM in being edited. .
I am new to Lightroom and currently using it on the 30 day trial I have been using PSE for a long time and have over 90,000 images in Organizer and all of my images are on cd's/dvd's, very few are stored on the hard drive.
I'm trying to batch save a series of PNG animation files using the File => Scripts => Export Layers to Files action in Photoshop CS5. Each layer has a transparency and a shadow that have been converted from layer effects and "baked" into the image. I tried the batch save but it turned all of the transparencies solid with white backgrounds. Also the image size was not cropped to the dimensions of the object on each layer.
Lastly, is there a way to edit the numbering for each file? When the images were exported it created a lengthy set of numbers after each file name when all I need is a 00 padding.
I am using PSE 10 on a Mac and I would like to export photos from an album as jpeg files to the hard disk. I would like to rename the files so that the first image in the album will have a the album name and index 1, the second image will have the same name and index 2 etc.
View 3 Replies View RelatedJust a quick question, I'm wondering if there is a fix in 3ds max (64) 2011 regarding exporting .mov files. We are in the FIRST Robotics competition and the Autodesk 3D Animation Contest requires the final movie to be in .mov format.
I can always export individual frames and composite the work in Premiere, perhaps a better process in the end; regardless I would love to hear of how the problem will be solved with Apple (just a guess) down the road
Video studio has an export option "save as first video clip" for mpeg files. Don't see that for wmv files. Is there a way to save an edited wmv file using the original files properties without doing a custom setup? Windows Movie Maker seems to do this but it's a pain to use.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI need to export on a regular basis parts of a X6 file to eps. The files are huge an can contain all sorts of filter. They are all powerclips, some with shadows and transparency and symbols containing JPG's.
When i export the first part of it most at the time it works well, exporting the second set I am ending up with only half the data. If I copy and past into a new document and try from there I might get lucky or some other parts are missing, if I reduce the size by 50 percent same thing.
When I export my CDR file to EPS, which I've done thousands of time, it seems to export, but when I try to open it, I get an error "The file.......is an unknown format and cannot be opened". When I look at the file profile in my documents, I can see that it says "0 KB"
I can open up older EPS files from my documents fine, but not able to do that now.
But I am having some issues in exporting Xara files to either JPG or PNG.
I am developing maps in Xara for use in an online program called Maptool. My current project is to vector a city built around a volcano so it has better detail than what it did in the original map. First off this is a very large map and I have to be able to zoom in use the standard scale of 5ft for use in Maptools (it is probably zoomed in to about 50ft for this).
1. What is the best format and settings to export a file so that when I zoom in real close (500% to 600% zoom) it doesn't look badly pixelated? I also want it to still have good visuals when I zoom it out to 15% to see the whole map (or most of it.
2. When I export the file as a PNG and open it in maptool to use it as a map some of the objects I placed on it in Xara have either moved slightly or changed size. I am not sure which yet but they look more re-sized than anything. Why and how do I stop this?
3.When I exported the map one time I noticed a building was missing from the original xara file. I went back to recreate it and it was still there, so I assumed I just didn't have it clicked when I exported it. That wasn't the case. The building shows up where I originally drew it but I can't edit or delete it. I can see it, but when I copy and paste or export it into another file the building isn't there.
4. Is it possible to change the units and size of the artboard after the project has been created and worked on for a few days? If so, how?
I tried to move my map project to a new file (after encountering the problem described in #3 above). The original settings were in pixels and is a very huge map. I set the new document in inches (or feet) but I couldn't make the artboard large enough to fit my project. I am not sure how to change from one measurement to another. When I did first save it in another file I could not edit the whole map as my limits are the new document size settings and my project is larger than those settings.
My current export settings are: True color + Alpha. I have removed all the transparency effects as they look horrible in the export so far.
Any easy way to do this or get a plugin that will export as SWF? I did a google check and found some plugin from 2009 that seemed to require the ability to write script and program. Maybe the new version will have this?
View 4 Replies View Relatedwhen exporting RAW files from lightroom 3, version 3.6, to photoshop 5, (version 12.04, ACR 6.6), raw files go directly to editor, not camera raw editor. This began only after I went from trial version to full version, before it went to RAW editor. If loading directly into PS RAW files do go to RAW editor as they should, but not from LIghtroom.

I am running LR 4.3 (student license).
I have dng files in my catalog.
I try to export them as srgb jpg files.
The exported files are empty, as in 0 kb, and will not open.
When I try to open them I get a warning that says the file is empty.
This has never occured before. Just started happening this week.
When ask LR to look for updates, it says I do not need any updates.
When I right click a dng file in LR and try to open it via PS CS5 for editing, I get a message that says my version of LR may need Camera Raw 7.3 and that I should update Camera Raw via the PS menu.
When I go to PS and ask it to update, it says I am up to date.
However, I believe my installed Camera Raw is version 6.
When I try to install Camera Raw 7, it tells me that the update does not apply to me, so I cannot procede.
Why LR 4.3 is all of a sudden exporting empty jpg files?
When exporting files using the export command, only some keyworks will show up in the File info panel (even if I select all). But if I open the same image from Lightroom with the "Edit photo with Photoshop CS-6" all the keywords show up in the file info panel.
View 17 Replies View RelatedI just downloaded InDesign. I have been getting away with using Pages on my Mac but I need bleeds and crop marks now and thus need InDesign. I have produced a brochure on Pages and it's ready to go. In the past I was able to use Adobe Reader or some other export to produce crop-marks for print ready material but it has all changed so I am forced to us InDesign. I will (eventually) train on this properly, but in the meantime I have time sensitive material. Is there a way to export my Pages document to InDesign? I tried to do a .pdf but the import into InDesign came up really bad (pixeled etc.) OR am I doomed to redo the whole project?
