Photoshop :: Export As A Jpg / Gif / Png Or Any Image Type
Mar 1, 2013
I have a very large image I need to export as a jpg, or gif, or png or any image type but whenever I do the gradients turn out terrible and the overall quality isn't much better. Mainly though the gradients turn into blocky areas and not smooth like it looks in PS. How can I export it to keep it looking as good as photoshop?
I typeset long documents which often include several hundred labeled photos and illustrations. Much of our art is created off-site, but we label the figures in-house. In the past, this has been done in Illustrator, but I prefer to do it in InDesign.
Exporting an InDesign document as an .eps results in fractured type. Opening the .eps in Illustrator, a single word is now comprised of random groups of letters, and some of the characters are outlines. In the Export EPS dialog box, I've tried every combination of options under "Embed Fonts" and "Data Format." Is this a bug, or are .eps files created from InDesign not intended to be fully functional in Illustrator?
As an aside, InDesign files placed within InDesign documents often cause the program to crash when exporting to PDF. Perhaps that is a subject for another post, but it's basically the only reason I export InDesign files as .eps (so I can re-link the offending .indd file to the .eps and export to PDF). I don't really want to open InDesign-created .eps files in Illustrator -- I'd rather simply place the .indd as a link -- but sometimes it's expedient, and I'm curious as to why the type becomes fragmented.
can i write a plug in c#(or any other language) for import/export a screen of the adobe illustrator cs6 in html (or any other format) if document of web type.
I can create a signature with image and text as in attachment, (not sure even did that) "DARN"but would like to be able to type directly on a jpeg or gif etc.
Does the command still exist to export a drawing to the 3DS file type? I remember doing it in 2007, but do not remember the command and can not find it in the help files.
I would love to be able to export my image from 3d spherical panorama back to the complete Image. Raster image clips the image. Photoshop 3D is great for retouching the nadir (bottom) a spherical panorama image.
I have to create a website for 1 of my IT module in uni the website im going to create is for a poetry socitiey i want to create have the title text [Sahabba Poetica] arise in a flame fade out into smoke then fall down as dust
When I create a text layer, the whole image turns black. If I enter the text blindly, I will see the expected results when I finish and click on another tool. If I try to edit the text layer, everything turns black again.
I am not using the type mask tool. I can select and move the layer and I can blend the layer; I just can't see what I am typing. Using Windows 8
how I would achieve this exact effect in Photoshop? The 2 light blue type of effects, one at the top of the image, the one at the bottom of the image. It isn't just regular lighting, as it uses a totally different light blue color. I don't know how to achieve this effect
In Adobe Camera Raw, is there a way to select the file type that you save your image in. It seems .dng or DMG are the only file types, I would like to save my original CR2 file and save a copy in JPEG for others to open.
After I move an image or line of type to where I want it on a Photoshop CS5.1 layer, it moves an extra pixel. It is incredibly annoying and want it to stop before I start screaming. I've turned off all "Snap" and "Snap To" menu items.
I've recently started to learn about GIMP and during some basic messing around I've stumbled upon some artwork and wish to make something like this.[URL]. here is imposes a logo [URL] on a flag. What kind of tools I need to learn to get this result with any kind of flag/logo?
I've got a dodgy Google Earth screenshot that I've chucked into CAD to scale it (approximately) and more importantly align it to the correct coordinate system as per the survey. However, I need to use that image in another modelling program (which only accepts image files).
Question is - is it possible to export just an image from Autocad back to an image file? I obviously don't want to plot the entire drawing to PDF/BMP or anything, simply extract the image that I have resized. Or any other way of getting an image from Google Maps or the like and scaling it correctly?
Is there a simple way to convert a JPEG type image to DXF/DWG? A friend wants me to have an image laser cut into sheet metal to create a fire ring. I received the image in a jpeg format. There has to be an easier way to create the geometry then me importing the image into AC and tracing it. Below is the image.
I'm trying to vectorize my image and Photoshop makes this hard, and im told AI is the better option,. I dont have the program and wasd wondering if you can do it? Ill give you a virtual high five if you dio...
I've been working on several files for some package design. Every time I try to replace some text that happens to be sitting over a linked photo, illustrator freezes up and crashes. Every single time without fail, it fails.
I tried to move the same piece of text off the artboard, modify it, and move it back, but it crashed even while off the board (and not on top of an image).
I'm running Windows 7, up to date on all software (windows & adobe included). Using Illustrator cs6, 64bit. I'm running on a new machine as well - though I was having this issue on another computer as well.
I've been messing around with this shape, mostly based on ideas from the skull medallion tutorial over at Gimp users, and was wondering what is causing the white jagged line that appears along the bottom of the wing and also to the outer edges. It only appears after I have run the Lighting Effects filter. It's not too obvious on the full size image of the batman type symbol, but becomes quite noticeable when a section is enlarged.
I'm working on an edit, which is in video mode. Now I have to include OpenEXR material, which is in linear mode. How can I combine the two and still have the correct color?
I can set it in view mode to linear, but then all my video shows as linear too, plus, as soon as I leave the view mode, it all goes back to video, and my EXR's are too dark then..... what can I do?

There used to be a very useful function in CS2 under Help which was Export Transparent Image. What happened to that function in CS3 and how the hell do I export transparent image now in CS3?
I just upgraded to CS4 and have come across something curious. In previous versions, to export a transparent image, you would go to "help" and select "export transparent image." No such thing in CS4 (that I can find).
I am trying to create a transparent image to place in InDesign so that I can wrap text around my image. But when I save it as a PSD, it doesn't allow the text wrap.
Corel Draw 5 did this very nicely but it's obsolete and I can't load it onto this machine (HP all-in-one Pavilion desktop with Windows 8).
I am working with hand-drawn images but since I need to manipulate the outline/s with a 4 - 12 pixel tool, it would be great to just be editing nodes instead. Creating the image from scratch as a vector graphic would be a horrible large amount of work and is not feasible at this time. Is there any way other than Corel Draw 5 to make the conversion from bitmap-type images to editable vector graphics, ie: editable nodes?
PS - I don't have $700 - $1000 to spend on software at this point but do have Photoshop Elements 11, Premiere 11 and Lightroom, plus GIMP and the usual. Where should I start?
i have a problem when i try to export a jpg image.I must do a small image for a Exchange signature. When i exported the file in jpg with save for web and i insert it in exchange, the dimensions (width and height) are ok, but less quality. However if i save normaly in jpg the quality is the top but when i insert the image in exchange, the dimension are strange, there isn't width and height correct. The file is a 72 dpi.
