View 2 RepliesI just downloaded Photoshop cc, everything works fine except 1 thing, when i add a text, the size is super duper small, so small you can't even see what letter it is. I tried to max the size to max but nothing happens.
View 1 Replies View RelatedBefore I describe this problem I do want to assure you I did poke around the forum and FAQ beforehand.
My problem is that I open a new creation(RGB or Bitmap) and create a text layer. When I do this I find that the cursor is EXTREMELY tiny. The text isnt even readable on size 72. I first noticed the problem yesterday when I was trying to create a new sig with an edited image I previously created. I've never had this problem before but I am still pretty new to this. Code:
It just appears as one line however big i make the text box and the text overlaps so its all one illegiable line.

View 3 Replies View RelatedHaving followed various tutorials to the letter, I am finding that, on close inspection, my stacked image appears to have small, random, out of focus blobs. No matter how many shots I use in the stack, the final results are the same. However, if I repeat the procedure, with the same images, the result is the same, but with different areas of softness.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI ran some rendereings using revit 2013 , and windows 8 . But everytime I render a view I get a horizontal white area in the background that looks like a white fence.
I attached a rendered view ( draft quality) and a realistic view . you can see the white area in the background in both images.
I'm having this strange issue with the Photoshop type tool in Photoshop CS5. It might be, although I'm not sure, a bug. The tool itself is working and lets me add text and edit. But the box that shows up when editing text (and the blinking line that shows where I am in the text) - has gone invisible. I am having this issue in only one document. - I tested the type tool on other documents, and everything was normal. I've looked up shotcuts and hotkeys to check if I've tapped a key or something, but it doesn't appear to be so.
Now about the document; it does have quite the amount of text layers, and a lot of text in them. I've tried resetting the type tool, and I've restarted the program.
When I restart the program, the tool works as it's supposed to - but after editing or adding a new text layer, the editing area is gone again! Is this a bug, or have I touched keys that do odd things?
My G12 Camera is able to super-impose date/time information on the images.
How can I remove this from the images using PS Elements?
Error in illustrator cc , when i open a .ai file illustrators does not open it and says text import option, how can i open this file

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy text is coming out extremely small, all my settings in character are normal, and the font is not the problem, this has happened before.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I put text into photoshop CS3, and then zoom into it, the edges are all fuzzy and jaggy.
I was of the opinion that all text were vectors in PS and so the edges should be smooth as. Unfortunately, the text prints out all jaggedy on my laser printer also just like it looks on the screen. I've also played with the anti-alias options somewhat. Obviously when I do this in Illustrator, it is spot on vector, but not in PS.
What am I doing wrong here? When I convert the text into a shape, sure... the nice vector lines appear around text. But shouldn't the text be vector straight up when I create a text layer in PS, and then I should be able to rasterize it when adding filter effects etc?
Is there any way for me to work with my text in Photoshop in sharp vector-resolution so that it's sharp at all resolutions? Let me describe a test I've done:
I open up a A4 300 ppi resolution document in Photoshop and simply type the word "Photoshop" at 72pt size Myriad Pro font. The anti-aliasing is set to 'Crisp'. Firstly, it doesn't look the best as it is on the screen with the edges 'jaggy'. Secondly, I hit print and it tells me I'm printing to a non-postscript printer (i.e my laser which I know IS postscript!!). When it prints out, it looks crap just like it did on my screen (edges jaggy).
I then open up a simple A4 document in Illustrator, type the word "Photoshop" at the same size text as outlined above. Looks great on screen OBVIOUSLY because it's vector-based and is sharp at all resolutions. I hit print, it it spits out the document perfectly printed as it is on screen.
I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this with Photoshop, but my text looks garbage only when using Photoshop. Not with any other program out there (ie. MS Word, Publisher, Illustrator, Serif Drawplus, Serif Pageplus, Serif Photoplus....)
This happened last week when I first installed it. Tech support repaired the installation and it began to work again. Now it stopped again after I used it only twice?I click the icon, the opening window appears, I click Photo Editor, the program blinks and closes by itself. I am at a lost as to where to go from here. I order the magazine and support today and can't open the program!
View 2 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden my text is incredibly small. The resolution is set at 300. The "Resample image" box is unticked. I've tried resetting the character...still the text is smaller than it should be. For example, 8 point Times New Roman can barely be seen with the naked eye. I haven't done anything different. What gives?
View 15 Replies View RelatedI use text of a smaller kind, it becomes a bit blurry. Like something wrong with the pixels, especially with 'V*tG'.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI use a 1920x1200 resolution desktop and sometimes i'll be working on pics that big.
I want to add text to the pic but when I do, the text is tiny tiny @ a scale of 72, literally the size of a period. I use the free transform command to make it bigger and when I scale it to where I want it the text size literally blows up to the 3-4 THOUSAND range, like the text size for example would be 3824.2 font size.
something weird has started happening with the text tool. When I enter text it is really small. Even at 200pt it is tiny. I have it set on the normal text tool and none of the settings are changed apart from the font size. The work area is zoomed at 100% so it is at real size.
View 4 Replies View RelatedNo matter what I do, the text in my photoshop(7.0) stays microscopic.
I have to make it 288pt just to appear to be what's normally 8pts.
I have an image with very small text on it I want to see what the text says but when i zoom in and try to sharpen the image, I on see pixels. Is there any way to read this small text using photoshop?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a picture to which somebody added text...
It wasn't added with a great application.
Now, the text is tiny, since the image is tiny.
It's also a purple color between light and dark purple,
and was inserted right over top of a pink wall.
It's not a high-quality image. I'd really like to bring that text out and make
it visible. Can anybody help me? I'm not a very experienced photoshop user,
but I thought to myself "If anything can bring that text out, photoshop can
do it."
Is there a way to make out a text that is too small to read? I really really really need to know the name of these brands, but the labels are impossible to read due to the small size.
Is there a special program or technique to make stuff like this out?
When I write something with the Type tool, a grid of dots, or actually little triangles, appears in the same color as the text across the entire image. How do I stop this?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI was designing a business card as usual and copying some vector images from Illustrator, but when I tried to enter some text it came up blank...the color shows a question mark (?) even after I attempt to change the color.
I've seen the question mark before but all I needed to do in the past was select that little button and change it.
Still trying to learn my D7000
Yesterday, I took a number of experimental shots (a red phone cord lying on a white background). The white background (an artists white canvas lying on the floor) was well lit from above using 5600K lights.
The shots were all taken using auto focus, auto exposure, etc and in the view finder everything appeared to be correct, but on later viewing the photos, the white background appears to be grey.
I have attached a sample image to show the grey colour.
especially when using the auto mode when taking the photos.
I am not concerned about the picture quality only the grey background and I did not undertake a WB as I thought that this was part of the auto mode when taking the photo. the shot was taken by half pressing the shutter release butto to ensure that everything was OK then continuing to fully press the button.
why is the small text blurry on Photoshop? i am a very small advert for a newspaper! and the text is printing blurry and when zoomed in is appearing all blurry? how do i stop this i only have Photoshop and indesign.

(2) i think i screwed up the text settings too, i now have to have the font size to be like 973.99 inorder to see the text.
I'm having some trouble when typing text with the text tool. Whenever I try to type something down in PS, the font is incredibly small. In fact, it only appears when I set the font size to its maximum. And then, it's by far not the size I want it to be.

It worked fine with elements 9 always worked well.
I have a .jpg image (just a plain flat image, no layers) which mostly consists of text and one small image; I need to lift the text and the image from the background so I can change the background color, then put the text back again.
