Mar 19, 2013When opening my jpeg photos in Photoshop elements 9, once saved elements seems put the image in a format that my Apple Mac isn't compatible with. So when I then try and upload the images to Facebook or other software in a bulk upload the images are highlighted and I therefore can't select them and upload.

Jan 12, 2009I am shooting RAW and opening in Photoshop CS3 with AdobeRGB profile. My desktop NEC LCD screen displays the images correctly. I recently purchased a HP Pavilion dv9910us laptop, and it exhibits some posterization, even at the best screen angle. I'm wondering if this is a problem I will be able to solve or if it is a limitation of the hardware.

3 GB RAM
AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60
Vista 32 bit SP1
Color is set to 32 bit, Powerplan to High performance. The monitor has no specific profile. It is set to generic PNP. My older SpyderPro doesn't work with Visa, so I can't create a profile for the monitor (unless I upgrade to Spyder3.
I specifically chose a laptop that had a graphics subsystem, so this posterization is disappointing to me.
Photoshop :: RAW Editing Laptop And Desk Computer
Jun 16, 2008I often will edit photos in Adobe RAW on my laptop, and save the RAW files to an external drive. When I pull those photos up on my desktop Photoshop, none of the RAW edits are seen. Shouldn't I be able to see the edits I made on my laptop? What's going on? I have both of my photoshop CS3 programs preferences set the same. Any help with this? Certainly when I edit photos on one computer with photoshop, I should be able to take those files to another computer and continue to edit them.

I installed Elements 6 and imported the photos along with tags according the screen, but once the import is done less than 100 of the photos are actually tagged. I also have a newer version of elements that I want to use on this computer but thought I should try to make the original version work before upgrading. What do I need to do to get the tags back?

I go to tranform image size and the outline surrounding the photo only moves up/down or side-to-side. How do I get the outline to move at the corners so I can easily manipulate the size? Either way - FN, CTRL, Win or other buttons do nothing to enlarge photo to where I want to set it. How can I accomplish this - any experts on touchpad conversion to number keypads out there? This is Win8 with PSE11. I just want this computer to get up to par to do some photo editing.

May 7, 2013Photoshop CS5 is up and running on my new iMac all-in-one. However, when I transferred my photos from my old PC (Photoshop 6.0) the captions from all .psd files transferred successfully but none of the captions from .jpeg files transferred. I used a simple transfer of the photos from an external disk to "My Pictures" on the iMac. How can I redo this transfer so that ALL of the captions get transferred?
