I am having a problem with the cartoon bubbles in Elements 10. After I create the shape I hit the OK check mark...and the shape just disappears from the screen.

usually, it will work when i frst open the document, but after i start making new layers/text then i try to do this, the shape i make disappears.

View 2 Replies View RelatedToday I purchased Photoshop Elements 12, went through the installation process, and it should be ready to begin editing. However, whenever I attempt to open Photoshop, nothing happens. My OS is Windows 7; I click the icon onmy taskbar, and the cursor shows that it is loading, the icon is highlighted, but then the loading symbol stops and the icon highlight disappears. When I attempt to open a file using PSE, the loading banner appears, but shortly thereafter, I receive an alert saying "Photoshop Elements 12 Editorhas stopped working" and under it, it says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" and the only available option it "Close program." I had this exact issue with PSE 7, and figured that purchasing an updated version might fix this problem.  Evidently, I was mistaken. This is a very serious issue, as I am a graphic designer (creating logos, posters, programs, etc) and use Photoshop for this purpose. I have been using Elements for years, but only recently has this problem arisen. This is, of course, infuriating, as I have paid $70 for a program that doesn't even work.Â

Adobe Elements 11 Editor: The MARQUEE for the brush tips aften disappears! The only solution that I have found is to shut the computer down then start up again. Is there a fix for this problem without shutting everything down?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using PSE12 with Mac OS X Mavericks. If I use the type tool, type some text then want to change maybe the font or size, the text disappears! If I set the parameters before typing everything is OK, but it is really inconvenient.Â

Also when I do a return in text the first letter of the next line is always a capital whether or not I start a new sentence!
Using Elements 6 or 11, (a purchased copy), when I add text and then save the text disappears in the saved copy but remains in the Elements copy. I've spent hours on this being very careful that the save location is where I want it. The photos shown in the bin do contain the text. ??

I don't recall doing that shape ever, I was switching among Illustrator and Photoshop and in a second it just appeared.I tried many alternatives but still can't get rid off it. It is in every new file I make. It doesn't respond to zoom in/out. If I switch to outline view it stays the same, even with the shadow.I recorded a video.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am producing a glass of beer with bubbles rising, with a simple 360 degree orbit animation to be played on a loop. I downloaded the glass file and it came with a HDRI map and look great. I wanted animated bubbles so have used a SuperSpray particle system based on the Bubbles preset, tweaked to reduce everything down to the right size.
It all looks fine, but I have some strange reflections going on inside the glass, on the animation they travel the opposite way to the bubbles, so they must be a reflection issue.

I've got my grid & bubbles as a separate construct that I bring into my different plans. When I bring it into my reflected ceiling plan, the grid shows up, the bubble's extension lines show up, but the bubbles and numbers/letters contained within are not showing up in the reflected display...

Did he use the gradient tool to get the shadow effect on the trees? It seems like there's two light sources going on, a light source and a darker opposite trim.

Then the rest is all freehand with a mouse. (A Wacom pen would work much easier I'm sure) The thing is that it takes me literally hours to color in and shade. So I figured you guys probably know a shortcut to "tweak" photo's and just have to touch up for the final result.
