Nov 29, 2013When using the crop tool, and I expand the cropped area outside the original image, the image disappears and the area turns white. How do I turn what ever "feature" this is off?

Jul 21, 2012After cropping a photo in cs4 i have tried hitting the return key as well as edit/crop and then my photo disappears and the image box reduces in size to about 1 inch square with no image. I have expanded the image box but nil photo. This has never happened before.
I reloaded cs4 onto my computer but the problem still exists. I have also tried out opening the file from Bridge as well as Photoshop with the same result.

Jul 26, 2013I have several pictures. Each "pair of picture" shows the same person on the same background/perspective/settings (using a tripod) -- but with the person on a different position.Now I want to crop these pairs of pictures. Now I am recording my cropping of the first picture as an action and repeat the same step via this action on the second picture.
But it is possible eg to record my cropping via a shortcut and execute the cropping with another shortcut to the next picture (the "next actually opened" picture) just to do this faster?

Sep 26, 2010When I crop a cdr image, part of the image disappears within the crop window. Clicking inside the cropped image reveals node locations as if the image is still there but the black lines are invisible. But, there are some objects visible in the cropped image.

Jan 9, 2014Today I purchased Photoshop Elements 12, went through the installation process, and it should be ready to begin editing. However, whenever I attempt to open Photoshop, nothing happens. My OS is Windows 7; I click the icon onmy taskbar, and the cursor shows that it is loading, the icon is highlighted, but then the loading symbol stops and the icon highlight disappears. When I attempt to open a file using PSE, the loading banner appears, but shortly thereafter, I receive an alert saying "Photoshop Elements 12 Editorhas stopped working" and under it, it says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" and the only available option it "Close program." I had this exact issue with PSE 7, and figured that purchasing an updated version might fix this problem. Evidently, I was mistaken. This is a very serious issue, as I am a graphic designer (creating logos, posters, programs, etc) and use Photoshop for this purpose. I have been using Elements for years, but only recently has this problem arisen. This is, of course, infuriating, as I have paid $70 for a program that doesn't even work.

Jan 26, 2013Just installed Elements 11 on a new Asus ET2300 all-in-one with Windows 8. Resolution is set at a recommended 1920x1080. I opened a jpeg in Elements and cropped the image to a square, but when I hit Print, what I see on the print set-up screen (and what actually prints) is an image with a good part of the top and bottom missing (although there is also a small image in the upper left corner that looks intact). I tried setting the computer resolution to 1600x900 and the image was severely cropped on the sides. If I choose one of the other resolution options, I guess that I might get a square or something close to it, but I assume that will effect my results in viewing venues.

The crop box usually goes past the edge of the document. When I did this in the past, the area off the document and inside the crop box would turn white, which is what I need it to do. Jan 1, 2014I shoot on a canon 5dIII ( Raw + JPeg 5760x3840), and own Photoshop Elements 10. I shot some family group photos. I framed leaving little headroom, but love the composition. I never expected for the image to be cropped for any reason. My mother in law wants to get the images printed at a box store as 5x7's and 8x10's. For each of those sizes, the photo lab keeps cropping heads off of the images. So, I realize that I need to send her properly sized files. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to resize the images, without having to crop them. Is this impossible. When I choose Image, Resize, and unclick Resample, I cannot enter 5x7 or 8x10. I also cannot enter those sizes with Resample clicked on. I've read and watched tutorials, but am still confused. Is this not possible to do without having to crop some portion of the image? Here's a really embarassing question as well: When I see 5x7 I'm interpreting that as 5 High x 7 Wide is that correct?

Jan 17, 2014I am using PSE12 with Mac OS X Mavericks. If I use the type tool, type some text then want to change maybe the font or size, the text disappears! If I set the parameters before typing everything is OK, but it is really inconvenient.
Also when I do a return in text the first letter of the next line is always a capital whether or not I start a new sentence!

I have deleted pictures from my catalog
I have purchased 20gb space on your site
I have checked for any problems with my computer none found
What else would you recommend that I do?
