Photoshop Elements :: Starting Edit From Cmd Line
Feb 20, 2013I have a SEND TO set up in win7pro 64bit. This works fine for Photoshop css 5, but with Elements 11. the editor starts but the image is not loaded.OPEN WITH works fine.

AutoCad :: Starting Point For A Line?
Jul 16, 2013When I have been drawing things I often want to start drawing from an existing line but not on an existing node/end point/mid point etc. For example I need to draw a support collumn on a wall 20' from a corner, but everytime I start it will snap to the nearest endpoint or midpoint.
A similar problem is if I am trying to draw a rectangle that is centered on the midpoint of another object. The rectangle tool will snap to the midpoint and the placement will be off by 1/2 the width of the rectangle.
This is not an osnap issue, but more of a best drawing practices question. In the past I have used DIMLIN to create a node to snap my starting point to, or drawn a new line out to the point where I want to start. I don't like doing this because then I have to erase it later(just to keep the drawing tidy).

Jan 4, 2013When trying to draw a line and choose a starting point, autocad decides that this is wrong and start the line in a different place. I've turned of autosnap and autotrack but this dosen't work.

Feb 6, 2013I've noticed that when you press the space key to end a line when you drawing with the bézier tool, it automatically takes you to the pick tool. So if you want to draw another line right away, you have to switch back to the bézier tool. It would be nicer to have a one-step means of doing this. Does any exist?

Oct 6, 2012I want to draw a line between the two sketches visible on the image below. The line should be in the plane visible. The starting point of the line should be from wherever the top sketch intersects the plane of the current sketch. The finnish point of the line should be wherever a line of the bottom sketch intersects the current sketch plane.
There is no tooltip appearing that would allow me to quickly "attach" the starting line to the correct position. Is there such an aid, and how do i turn it on?

Feb 14, 2014I installed Photoshop Elements 12 a couple of weeks ago. When I run the Photo Editor, everything is fine. But when I try to run the Organizer, I get the Microsoft Visuall C++ Runtime Library dialog that specifies a Runtime Error! for Program: C:Program Files (x86)... with error code R6025 - pure virtual function call.
My PC is a 64bit Windows 7 Machine with SP1.

Would I have to reopen it manual in photoshop or is there a way around this to access that setting? it sometimes does not appear on my already edited photos.
I would prefer not to open each photo again, as some files i do not have and were imported into the document with another computer.

Oct 22, 2012I have a complex grading situation with a sewer near a drainage channel. Long story short.... I need to somehow look at my alignment section by section and try to establish a feature line that will represent my proposed top of slope. There are a ton of different constraints that I will not go into. My ultimate need is the ability to establish a feature line or 3d pline from the section view. I know that this is somehow possible via corridors. Im working with just an aligment and cross sections at every 25 feet. Is this possible?

Apr 12, 2013how to edit the line space distance for the dimension text. I can change the style, size and several other features. But the line space distance is the one thing I can't seem to edit. The only solution I know of and use is exploding the dimension and then the text turns to mtext and the option becomes available. But then if the section changes to a shorter/longer area, i have to go through several steps with the exploded lines. how to edit the line space distance for the annotation in the dimensions. i have also attached a pic of my issue as well.

Sep 26, 2013I have a finished grade surface and I have a feature line that is my waterline. I created an alignment and then recreated my feature line so they would be linked. I can then create a profile using my alignment and that shows my surface at that alignment. I can even add the waterline by using project objects to profile view.
I need to be able to edit the feature line elevations in the profile view by creating and erasing PVIs so this will tie back to my geometry.

May 13, 2012The 2D drawings I am working with were exported from 3D REVIT files to 2D AutoCAD files. There are several XREFed drawings that are both mechanical and architectural from the original REVIT files that for whatever reason, the block's line weights came over with line weights of 70 in those blocks.
When I plot, the objects are a blur with the line weight so high. I tried using the command "setbylayer" but that didn't work since nested blocks still had lineweights of 70. Is there a VBA or LISP routine to run through all the blocks (including nested) that can change the line weights to a given number?
AutoCAD 2010 :: Dimension Text Grip Edit Reduces Line Spacing?
Jun 27, 2011If I place a dimension and have text above and below the dimension line (using X), and then grip edit the dimension text to move it for space/clarity on plans, the text above and below the line will mysteriously move closer to the line. If I have backgrounds applied to the text, which I normally do, the backgrounds will cover the line. Even without the background, it looks odd next to other dimensions that were not grip edited.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Edit Feature Line Some Elevations Locked With White Triangle
Apr 23, 2012I have created several feature lines from which I graded to distance or surface. I am trying to edit all these feature lines raising them by 0.5 ft. In a few instances, I need to keep some of the elevs while raising others by 0.5 ft. I am changing the elevation of individual vertices.
Some of the features lines all me to change all the elevations. But on a few of the feature lines, I can change all the elevations except for one. The feature line station for which I cannot change the elevation has a white triangle in front of it in the Elevation Editor instead of a Green Triangle like most of the points. It's clear that the White Triangle means something that is not allowing me to edit the elevation of that feature line vertex, but I'm not sure what or how to fix it so I can edit it like the others.
Also, the Raise Incrementally icon does not work on these points with a White Triangle in front of them / does not change the elevation of them.
