Jul 6, 2009I've purchased a new Olympus E 620 camera and have the Ps /Cs3 design suite, now 18months old . I am unable to import camera raw images via bridge or directly into Ps 3 using any of the camera Raw 5.4 or DNG plug-ins. Can I purchase an upgrade for Cs3 to Cs4 for Ps only that will work within Cs3. I am becoming very tired of paying big dollars for very recent programmes that will not work with the latest technology.

Nov 18, 2012I have an early 2008 Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard. It's been awhile since I've tried installing Photoshop Elements 6, but I am trying currently. Disc is good, no scratches, used for install plenty of times in the past. Every time I insert it into the laptop, it takes the disc and thinks on it, like it's going to load. But then just ends up spitting the cd back out.

Dec 10, 2013I subscribe to Digital Photo magazine, from England. They supply a CD with every issue. I attempted to read in a .jpg file directly in the PSE 12 editor. PSE consistently crashes as soon as I start the process. I tried the same process on PSE 10 and 11 with the same result. I then took the CD on my Windows 7 system, which also has the save versions of PSE. On Windows 7 the process works without a hitch.
Workaround. If I import the file from the CD while in PSE 12 organizer, highlight the file and then invoke the editor, it works fine. I do NOT want to use a workaround. This should work AND in no event should the system crash.
NOTE: I have submitted the crash reports to both Apple and Adobe without getting any response.

Yesterday Lightroom handled a bunch of files from these cameras and today it gives me a message "The following files were not imported because they could not be read." same answer for both ORF (Olympus raw) and jpeg's. The files will open in Elements. Reformattng cards both CF and SD) uninstalling LR and downloading a new install.

Tested cards and cardreaders for two different cameras - same dialogue box comes up. response is there area many bugs in LR 4.2 and Adobe is ignoring. One Adobe spokes person suggested optimizing and restarting. haven't tried it yet.
