Using elements 12 on win7 --been using quite happily for several weeks but now want to print cd label--but cannot get past a basic theme layout ---actually only want a blank label as start point . Have i missed installing something from the download?
View 5 RepliesI'm trying to print 2 notecards per sheet of paper (8.5 x 11) Ii created a template that is the actual size of the paper, with 4 quadrants. I created the front of the card image in the actual size of the quadrant,and I set printer to actual size (8.5 x 11). yet when i print it out it is not right to cut and fold. what kind of adjustments to do i need to make to get it to line up. Also when I move the card image into the quadrant it seems like it is not longer the full size of the quadrant. Even when I move it or adjust the image so it looks centered it doesn't work. also in the print window at the bottam i unselect centered and adjust the top and left numbers, but in the preview i see that it is not filling the page.
View 19 Replies View RelatedI have PSE 10. I'm trying to change a layout to customize my output. I'm the admin but I get the following error when trying to save a change. "You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact your admin for permission". I checked the file properties and the only box not checked is the special permissions which is grayed out. I see info saying this is how you modify the layouts but not sure why mine isn't accepting.

Currently, I open 1 layout at a time then print it 1 by 1, in which its killing me specially if I do have lots of drawings.
Publish does saving in DWF, PDF... But does not print in the printer.
I have a template with layouts of different sizes that had been working fine with a previous Xerox 6204. My D size and E size automatically oriented with the 36" side parallel to the roll feed. I have since moved to a job that got a Designjet T2300. On this machine the D size orients the 24" side parallel. This wastes 1' of paper on the left and uses 1' extra as it runs the 36" side perpendicular. I have been unable to rectify the problem. I have tried printing in portrait, that actually cut off some of the image. I have tried all types of rotation within the driver and layouts. Tech support had me going into the machine settings and set rotation to 90. Nothing. There is a warning that "HP utilities" is not installed. Could this be a remedy? When the tech came to set up the printer he installed the necessary drivers but mad no mention of this utility.

I am trying to print on 5x7 paper. I set the page setup to 5x7. I have the margins set to .2" on each side. The layout image inside Lr looks exactly how I want it to.Then I print. I end up with a .125" margin on the left and top, and a .625" margin on the right and bottom.
When I add a text box label in Layout space. the text box is in the normal horizontal
position, as in photo 1
when i preview it in the plot preview the text box is vertical. the drawing plots out that way too. In the properties box the rotation is grayed out.

PS the plot set up window is set to Landscape.
I have a bit of a problem with Autocad map 3d 2012. When i try to insert a scale bar or a north arrow or any other carthographic element i simply can't find the layout elements that are supposed to be in layout tools tab. I've done a lot of research online and can't come up with anything.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI would like to use the label print feature of Corel DRAW X5. When I do the following steps:
Choose File -> New...
Create a new file with A4 size and 300 dpi
Choose Layout -> Page Setup....
Goto "Document" -> "Label" in the options tree
Select "Labels" (instead of "Normal Paper")
Select a predefined label layout (problem exists also with a custom label layout)
Click on OK -> New page with one single label as the size has been created
Drawing my label
Choose File -> Print Preview
I expected to see the "matrix" of labels (e.g. 4x10 labels), but I only see one single label in the middle of the page.
I have Windows 8 and am new to Elements 11. How do I get print to completely fill a 4 x 6 print paper?

I created/edited an album of wedding photos in the Organizer. I tried to upload album to Shutterfly to make an archival DVD and also make a photo book in Shutterfly. The photos uploaded individually to the Shutterfly print page to print individually, but the album will not upload to My Pictures, it shows the album name, but it is empty. How do I get the photos to upload?? Shutterfly was not sure how.

I have been using X3 for a long time and have had a way of printing some badges whereby I went to ‘Print’ and then to ‘Preview’ and then clicked on the ‘Imposition layout tool’ icon and then set the page to however many I wanted on a page as in the picture. I need to print 4x1. However, in X6, it doesn't give me that option. I go to ‘Print’ and click on the ‘Layout’ tab and then there are some defaults in the ‘Imposition layout’ drop down menu as in the second picture but there’s no option for 4x1.
I just installed PSP 4. I use print layout templates in my photo business. I have 115 layout templates that I backed up from PSP 3. When I copied the print layout templates into PSP4 the Print Layout templates interface crashed including the Averys.
View 2 Replies View RelatedScale in Layout. I drew my drawing in mm , and I want to use Layout to print it like I saw in a video, but how do I scale my drawing? For example, the counter and shelf I drew is 1:1 in the Model workspace(1600 by 2000mm) but in Layout, for printing on to an A3 sized paper how do I get it to print in 1:40 or something of that sort?
Right now I'm printing by using Fit To Paper with the dimensions included, but I notice our contractors are using 1:30, 1:40 etc. , my boss doesn't mind since I include the dimensions but I reckon it might cause problems in the future.
And is it possible to just select anything in my selection window, even 3/4 of a line? Because right now, I can only select the whole line no matter what, I only want 1/2 of it because I want to cut the whole drawing in half and move it apart.
By the way, is it possible to customize the panel? Instead of switching between tabs constantly, can I make my own panel? I googled this and tried using CUI but it is confusing. I just want certain sections grouped into 1 bar. Like... Draw/Modify/Attach/Windows all on the first panel.
I really want to be able to type in certain commands without hitting Enter, is that possible? If I hit M, it will move the object without me hitting Enter. Can that be done? Maybe not M, maybe Alt+1 to move, Alt+2 to Scale etc. etc.
I created a photo with text in CS6 and imported it into LR 4.4 as a jpg but the black border on the left and right does not show, only the top and bottom? I need the overall image to be landscape 9.45 W by 7.45 T to fit into a specific presentation folder.

I have re-set X6, using the Shift key method, but the problem is still there. I can use the menus and print, but those icons don't belong there.
I have an A4 peice of paper and need to change the scale of my drawing so it fits onto the page. I remember there was a short cut, but have since forgotten it.
It is currently at 1:1 and want to change that to a more appropriate scale.
I want to print multiple drawing in a single layout (see picture) . It is possible in autocad to setup printing once? For example: One project contains 100 A3 drawing, one layout contains 20 A3 drawing. Up to now, i print to pdf separately, and i combined the 100 pdf in one file.
And i print from this file. (only in this way succeed to print collating multiple copies). But if the project changes, I could start all over again. Is there a solution to publish an combining the sheets to print immediately?
