View 1 Replieson the new keypad that comes with the newiMac (27", 3.5ghz, i7) Fn1 and 2 are set to brighten or darken the screen, but I have checked the preference box to stop this i.e. to use the Fn keys as normal rather as assigned by Apple.
Oddly my other Fn assignations work fine but fn 1+2 brighten or darken the photoshop colour theme and I can't find anywhere where it is set to do that , so can't stop itwhich is very annoying as usually I have well learned and often used actions assigned to those keys.
Mac Os 10.9. Photoshop CS6.
Is there a way to change the theme or interface of VSx5 to a different color than black? I can barely see the buttons and functions because they are all grey on black. If I turn my monitor brightness up then I get a headache so I'm thinking there must be some way to change the color of VS itself. I've looked and can't find anything.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a small business doing canvas stretch pictures. A client of mine has asked me to do a collage of 27 photos and I used Shape Collage to do so. She wanted a collage with all the photos in a regulated format. That is Avg.Angle zero degrees, Max. Angle zero degrees, Offset X zero and Offset Y zero. After creating the collage I saved it as a PSd file. So Far So good. I then opened Gimp 2.8.4 and was quite confused as the latest program appearance is nothing like the tutorials and images on the net. However I was able to open the image of the collage by importing the psd file. I was also able to edit the photos and reposition them according to her wishes. I then saved the file as a psd. She wanted to see a jpeg copy of the collage as she does not have photoshop on her pc. In order to show her I had to flatten the psd and then save it in photoshop to a jpeg format. She now wants me to add one more photo to the existing collage.
How can I do that from the flattened psd?
I'd like to create some simple collages but cannot afford the full-blown Photoshop right now. Will Elements allow me to create collages? If so, is there anything that I won't be able to do that I could do (as it relates to collage work) with the full edition?
View 9 Replies View RelatedBeen a while since I've gotten to play with PS. But I just got PSCS2 and wanted to play with it. And I remembered making a Euro Collage in my PS class (lol, was named Web Graphics using Photoshop 7.0) Anyway, I have lost all my notes and cannot remember what elements I need for a Euro Collage. I do remember a few things, but not everything. I have looked on the web but they don't say what elements comprise a Euro Collage. Or if anyone knows a link I could follow, I'd greatly appreciate it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have tried to create a Photo Collage in PSE 11 but everytime I do, the program closes on me. I have tried in both Organiser and Editor.
It starts off OK and comes up with the sizes. I choose 297 x 210, the landscape option, which is not the default and the only other option is Basic layout - no other options available.
I then hit OK and the screen comes up with Adobe PSE11 has stopped working. Check online for a solution to the program or Close the program. I have tried to check online but it just closes anyway.
I like the photocollage where the images are all tilted, but I would like to use about 12 images instead of just 8. How do I add additional image boxes?
