I'm trying to print 2 notecards per sheet of paper (8.5 x 11) Ii created a template that is the actual size of the paper, with 4 quadrants. I created the front of the card image in the actual size of the quadrant, and I set printer to actual size (8.5 x 11). yet when i print it out it is not right to cut and fold. what kind of adjustments to do i need to make to get it to line up. Also when I move the card image into the quadrant it seems like it is not longer the full size of the quadrant. Even when I move it or adjust the image so it looks centered it doesn't work. also in the print window at the bottam i unselect centered and adjust the top and left numbers, but in the preview i see that it is not filling the page.
I have Elements 9 and created a card in bi-fold format and cannot figure out how to get it to print in that format. I have a Dell V715W printer. Photoshop help is not useful. I am trying to figure out if I need to print add a blank page to the front and print two pages to one sheet (front and back) or something else. There don't seem to be many options when printing or edit options to the file/project/card within Elements 9.
I have selected the Shutterfly 2 sided card template and completed all of the card layout. When I try to print, Photoshop Elements 10 wants to print the card as 3 separate pictures. Under Create, pages, it shows the correct layout, but I can't get it to print out that way. When I select print it shows the card as 3 separate photos and prints them out that way. How do I get this to print out as a 2 sided greeting card?
How to print a sheet of pictures 2x3.5 (business card size). I have reduced the size of the picture but I can't figure out how to fill a sheet with this image and print it.
I want to print a folded greeting card from the templates offered by Photoshop Elements, but the printing process requires you to essentially print three things: front, left-hand greeting and right-hand image. It doesn't have one template for just the front and back and another for the inside.
I have PSE 10. I'm trying to change a layout to customize my output. I'm the admin but I get the following error when trying to save a change. "You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact your admin for permission". I checked the file properties and the only box not checked is the special permissions which is grayed out. I see info saying this is how you modify the layouts but not sure why mine isn't accepting.
Using elements 12 on win7 --been using quite happily for several weeks but now want to print cd label--but cannot get past a basic theme layout ---actually only want a blank label as start point . Have i missed installing something from the download?
I have a document for a book with 1400 superior note numbers in it. At the end of the document is a list with the 1400 connecting note texts. Unfortunately they are NOT connected! How can I connect the note-numbers with their connecting note text?
I have a template with layouts of different sizes that had been working fine with a previous Xerox 6204. My D size and E size automatically oriented with the 36" side parallel to the roll feed. I have since moved to a job that got a Designjet T2300. On this machine the D size orients the 24" side parallel. This wastes 1' of paper on the left and uses 1' extra as it runs the 36" side perpendicular. I have been unable to rectify the problem. I have tried printing in portrait, that actually cut off some of the image. I have tried all types of rotation within the driver and layouts. Tech support had me going into the machine settings and set rotation to 90. Nothing. There is a warning that "HP utilities" is not installed. Could this be a remedy? When the tech came to set up the printer he installed the necessary drivers but mad no mention of this utility.
I’ve done it before in the past so I know its possible but I have forgotten how. See the attached image I would like to change the printable area of my paper space layout.
Epson 3880. Lightroom 4. Moutain Lion. All current.
I am trying to print on 5x7 paper. I set the page setup to 5x7. I have the margins set to .2" on each side. The layout image inside Lr looks exactly how I want it to.Then I print. I end up with a .125" margin on the left and top, and a .625" margin on the right and bottom.
I have a bit of a problem with Autocad map 3d 2012. When i try to insert a scale bar or a north arrow or any other carthographic element i simply can't find the layout elements that are supposed to be in layout tools tab. I've done a lot of research online and can't come up with anything.
When I went to make my business cards, I had the settings at 2in x 3.5in 300dpi in GIMP.
When I go to print them as business cards using GimpLabels, you can only see the very top portion of my image. After switching the ruler settings to pxl (in the corner) I noticed my image is actually 2500 pixels by 3500 pixels. Obviously a business card is not that big. So... Is there anyway to easily scale this to the correct size?
I actually have about 10 different versions of this card I have to print.... So it would really suck if I'd have to go in an manually scale every one of them. It would be nice if GimpLabels would scale it itself you know?
I have trial version of Elements 11; Also have full version, but have not installed yet, as I wanted to wait until I completed current project. I created/edited an album of wedding photos in the Organizer. I tried to upload album to Shutterfly to make an archival DVD and also make a photo book in Shutterfly. The photos uploaded individually to the Shutterfly print page to print individually, but the album will not upload to My Pictures, it shows the album name, but it is empty. How do I get the photos to upload?? Shutterfly was not sure how.
I use my card reader to download images. In PSE11 how can I be selective in the number of images I download at any one time. Say there are 200 images on the card & only want to download the last 20. How do I avoid downloading all 200 images & then having to delete the 180 I had already previously downloaded?
How do I add cut lines/guides to a CD inlay card? I'm doing artwork which will be sent to a printing company. They will cut the cards, and have asked for guide lines. Also, I've been told to have 'bleeding', ie my design needs to be 3mm larger so that when the printers cut the card there will be clean edges with no white. How do I achieve this?
I want to use a different size than the templates. The size is A2 which is half of a 8/12 by 11 paper then folded in half. (that way you can print twocards per page). I want to be able to resize my image to fit this size, add text to the front half with the image and a little text on the back.
