I want to print a folded greeting card from the templates offered by Photoshop Elements, but the printing process requires you to essentially print three things: front, left-hand greeting and right-hand image. It doesn't have one template for just the front and back and another for the inside.

I used scale image to make a 2.314" x 3" image to print so it'll fit in a frame that I have for that same size. When I print it out the size looks great but it's over on the edge of the 4x6 paper and most of the picture is cut off. I tried, I should use print size and not canvas size but when I change the print size to 4x6 it also changes my canvas size back to 4x6. I still have my original so I can do this again but what I want is a 2.314"x3" image to print out on my 4x6 glossy paper.

I am trying to print 2 5x7 pics on one sheet of 8.5x11 paper. On the screen everything looks fine. I rotate the image, then uncenter the image to the top edge. I print the picture once, put the sheet back in turned 180 degrees, then print again. In previous versions this worked fine. Now, in version 11, it does not want to work. I have tried changing the size settings to custom 5x7. It still does not work. The image comes out 5" horizontally including a 1/4" border. Vertically, it comes out 5", no border. I am wasting a lot of paper trying to figure out where the problem is to no avail.

This is an issue for which no one in my office has any solution. We create all of our plan sets on E1 size paper. However, when we plot them for redlines we print to C-size to save paper. I know you can "publish selected layouts" to plot numerous tabs at a time. However, I am unable to figure out how to make them plot to a smaller size paper than what the page is set up for. Is there a way to plot all of the tabs at a smaller scale without plotting each tab individually?
We just recently upgraded to AutoCad 2014.

When I went to make my business cards, I had the settings at 2in x 3.5in 300dpi in GIMP.
When I go to print them as business cards using GimpLabels, you can only see the very top portion of my image. After switching the ruler settings to pxl (in the corner) I noticed my image is actually 2500 pixels by 3500 pixels. Obviously a business card is not that big. So... Is there anyway to easily scale this to the correct size?
I actually have about 10 different versions of this card I have to print.... So it would really suck if I'd have to go in an manually scale every one of them. It would be nice if GimpLabels would scale it itself you know?

Any way to print sheets from AutoCAD onto one sheet of paper, side-by-side?
The reason this came up is because yesterday I printed a half size set on our new plotter using twice the paper I needed. Each sheet printed on half of a 36”x12” sheet of paper (print is 18”x12”). I was throwing away 18” per print. What would be awesome is to be able to get another print onto that wasted 18”.
how to get two (or more) prints on one sheet of paper?

I am probably not posting in a right forum. Not sure where it should go.
What should a business card definitely include? What kind of info? Name of company?
Do I need to put my name also? Or just the name of the company is enough?
Do I need to put my address? Or is my phone number and email address enough?
What about website address is it necessary?

I frequently get a list from my boss of a bunch of photos to print 4x6 (Epson R1900) there might be 10 or 100 different photos. Most of the time, I don't need to do any correction just print. In CS/CS2/CS3 I had an action that called the print dialog and selected Scale to fit and 4x6, closed the photo, etc.. Photoshop always says that all actions can't be saved here-- ERR! So if I were to do a bunch, I would print the first one manually, then fire the action on the rest. (why can't Photoshop remember all the print settings?) That worked well until CS4. I have the CS4 suite on XP. If you use "Scale To Fit" in an action, it crashes Photoshop. I have tried it on two Windows systems (XP and Vista/64) and it crashes EVERY TIME on both systems. Someone else tried the same action on the NAPP forum and confirmed a crash also. Ideally, there would be a way for me to select 50 photos in Bridge and click a button and have them all print 4x6 to my Epson R1900. Any recommendations on how to deal with this? Getting the action to work would be good, but surely there is a better way to do this! I know I could use my MacBook Pro and it will run the action just fine, but I really would like to get this going on the main system here at the office.

My work entails regenerating new drawings from aging specification drawings and figures. Very little actual CAD, more hand-tracing JPGs than anything. I'm new to AutoCAD LT and haven't used most of its features. But the one feature I really need right now is to be able to print a black box on a sheet of paper.
As in, a 2-D closed polygon with a solid black fill. Unfortunately, AutoCAD LT doesn't think I should be allowed to print a black box on a sheet of paper.
I've tried assigning the color to the box using properties. I've tried defining layers and moving the box to the "black" layer (funny that "black" isn't a defined color in AutoCAD...that's way cool...). I've tried various settings in the Plotter setup screen.
I have a color plot table selected and I'm trying to print to .PDF. I work strictly out of the model view and do a lot of print previews. What am I, or have I, done, or not done, that I'm supposed to be doing, to print the box?

I just purchased the Adobe Design Suite 5.5 Creative Premium.
I have an old two sided business card stored to JPEG. Its two sided, so I have a jpeg of the front of the card and a separate jpeg of the back of the card. The card is full of graphics so I was hoping to not have to edit the card at all - and just print it in photoshop or illustrator.

I'm doing a business card for my friend in photoshop (can't use japanese in illustrator), and he uses this specific company color. I switched the image to greyscale and used tritones for the pantone spot colors. However, it seems these pantone colors don't cover every color in the spectrum. Can I just choose the color I want using the hex code? also, I added bleeds to my card. When I am done, what file should I send to the printer? .tif? or the photoshop file? and also, how will they know where the bleeds start and where it ends? should I draw lines on the picture to show them? Last thing, why is it when you save a file in cmyk, the color gets so distorted?

I'm working on a business card but every time I try to upload it to vista print the design is blurry. I can't figure out why. It looks fine on my computer. I'm also using their custom design template so the dimensions and stuff are fine. I would try the psd but the psd file is too big. Anyway to shrink it? I've tried JPEG, png, and eps so far.

I have an HP 6500A Plus, and it should be capable of printing edge to edge, even on custom sizes. After contacting both Apple (I am running MacOS 10.8 Mountain Lion) and HP for answers, I burned a lot of time with Adobe either just plain not getting an answer because I didn't buy it or being given the run-around. I need to know what Photoshop is doing to block the available capabilities from working.

Some paper companies have released a new paper size-9x13.
I find this excellant for fireworks and certain architecture prints.
Problem is that in CS6 I cannot adjust Set Up dialog to get entire paper printed correctly. The printer(both Canon's 9000mkii/9500mkii) always have a border. Red River(the paper I use) sez use 8x12 but there is no 8x12 setting.
the paper size in the CS6 Print menu (PS Manages Color) so the copy is inked 100%?
