I have an HP 6500A Plus, and it should be capable of printing edge to edge, even on custom sizes. After contacting both Apple (I am running MacOS 10.8 Mountain Lion) and HP for answers, I burned a lot of time with Adobe either just plain not getting an answer because I didn't buy it or being given the run-around. I need to know what Photoshop is doing to block the available capabilities from working.

I want to add some Custom Paper Sizes, however, when I open the options for the plotter(User-defined Paper sizes&calibration), I can`t add or modify paper sizes. The `Add` button is not available.
I set my computer to `Power Users` but still cant add. How to make the `Add` or `Delete` buttons usable?
Some paper companies have released a new paper size-9x13.
I find this excellant for fireworks and certain architecture prints.
Problem is that in CS6 I cannot adjust Set Up dialog to get entire paper printed correctly. The printer(both Canon's 9000mkii/9500mkii) always have a border. Red River(the paper I use) sez use 8x12 but there is no 8x12 setting.
the paper size in the CS6 Print menu (PS Manages Color) so the copy is inked 100%?
Is there an error in DWG to PDF? When I make a custom paper size A4 with size 210x297 and 0 margins, the pdf comes out wrong, see attached pdf.
I'm plotting extends, center the plot and fit to paper in modelspace. Preview displays correct. This was not an issue in ADT 2007.

I cannot get that size to stick with the printer name. Every time I choose that printer I have to reset the media to the custom size.

My Brother printer does fine at that with Apple Pages, MSWord, Acrobat, and Illustrator, but with Photoshop there's a problem. I set up a legal-size image in PS, go through all the settings I can find for printing to a non-letter-format sheet, hit print, and what I get is a letter-size patch of image on a legal-size sheet. Clearly, either I am missing something or PS is missing something.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem making paper size filtering 'stick'.
For years I've configured PC3 and their associated PMP files for each of our printers and plotters. As a part of the configuration, I filter out all the paper sizes we don't use. Once the PC3 and PMP files are configured, they're copied to all the local PC's. I've never had a problem with this, until now.
On the PC where the PC3 file is configured, the filtering is correct. On any other PC, various paper sizes are added. For instance, I'll filter out all paper sizes on printer "X" except for 8.5x11 and 11x17. On a similar PC, the paper sizes "16k 197x273mm" and "8k 273x394mm" are added.
If I point the PC's to a location on our network where the PC3 and PMP files are stored, I get the same results.
We have two OS's here - Win7 Pro and XP Pro. All OS's are kept up-to-date. All the Win7 PC's use the same version of the HP Universal Print Driver. All the XP PC's use the same version of the printer specific drivers.
I used scale image to make a 2.314" x 3" image to print so it'll fit in a frame that I have for that same size. When I print it out the size looks great but it's over on the edge of the 4x6 paper and most of the picture is cut off. I tried, I should use print size and not canvas size but when I change the print size to 4x6 it also changes my canvas size back to 4x6. I still have my original so I can do this again but what I want is a 2.314"x3" image to print out on my 4x6 glossy paper.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm running LT 2014 at Win7 x64 and have a problem with Xerox WF 6604 custom size paper settings.
Simply say when I change custom printer size at the printer's driver settings and confirm all dialogs nothing happend and LT use default settings. No dialog about new or temporary PC3 appear so looks that ACAD doesnt know about change at the printer driver?
This problem isn't continual but, for example, I printed something from the same dwg twice, but when third one change was set the very problem will appear and ACAD doesn't register changes.
How to set the printer setting in Autocad that only show ISO paper size only? Currently i am using HP DESIGNJET 800 42 and when i need to do plotting, it show me a bunch of unnessary of paper size list as shown in attachment.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have layouts set to print to a printer in the office, sometimes with different sized sheets. Everything worked perfect until we upgraded from Civil 3d 2013 to 2014. Where I'm gettin a problem now is publishing to PDF. It will cut off the left and right margins of the 11x17 sheets. I've tried everything and looked everywhere but can't keep it from doing that.
Is there anywhere to set the publish to PDF settings? I've played with the DWG to PDF.pc3 settings and no change.
This is an issue for which no one in my office has any solution. We create all of our plan sets on E1 size paper. However, when we plot them for redlines we print to C-size to save paper. I know you can "publish selected layouts" to plot numerous tabs at a time. However, I am unable to figure out how to make them plot to a smaller size paper than what the page is set up for. Is there a way to plot all of the tabs at a smaller scale without plotting each tab individually?
We just recently upgraded to AutoCad 2014.
Using an HP 1050c Plus with the latest HP drivers for Windows XP on AutoCAD MEP 2009. If I use the standard printer margins it all works fine, except that the margins are way too big and no border we have will print without cutting off at least .25" all around. If I go to properties and change the margins to .1" all around, my 42x30 sheets will print out with 43" of paper. If I make them .25", I will get 42.5" of paper. I just started at this company and have never had this problem before with an HP 1050 plotter. I have tried different combinations of the Extend margins, Inked area and autorotate checkboxes but haven't been able to figure it out yet.

I want to print custom size photo with LR4 and my Epson R2880, Epson driver v8.27, on OS X 10.8.4. In LR4 Print Module I set the cell size slightly smaller than an 8x10 (same aspect ratio but smaller by about 0.5 inch on both sides) on a Letter size paper. In the Epson driver I have tried all sort of options but no matter what I try, the print always come out exactly 8x10.

i have been sent a border from my client which has been drawnt in model space and they are asking the border they sent me for my drawings to be inserted into Paper space. Back when I printed images myself in the darkroom, I loved FF images and the black edge they have. Here's an example of one of my old prints (scanned):
how to get a somewhat soft black edge like that that isn't perfectly straight? I've found a special brush in PS:CS3 that gives me this:
Now my issue is I need this to be done in an action. That was done "free hand" by drawing a straight line across each edge, then adding the white after with the canvas size tool... Also that brush isn't perfect. I'm looking for something that has that perfect looking blend/rollover as it transitions into the image.
